The U shape is way better than the V shape. This is just what i need to fix the long part of hair that the unicorn ponytail gave me. I will give this technique a try.

I’m a guy with curly hair and I grew it out for 3 and a half years without a single trim 😅 it looked really good when I learned how to take care of it… but if I was brave enough to do this it would’ve been so much better lol! Awesome video :’)

Doing this right now. I currently hate my hair (everything in life really) and I want to love it again so hopefully this will bring back some spark to get me going and happier. I definitely need to get rid of my dead ends too though. Thank you so much because no one else shows how to make a U if it is something you also want. I’ve done the V before but wanna do the U this time. You are very detailed as well so that also helps and this is so simple ❤❤❤

@@Marianellyy I'm glad you did. I started the cg method about a month ago and my frizzy, fuzzy wavy hair is actually curling again and it's tamed! I never wanted layers, because of the out of control hair, but I think with my contained curly waves, it might look a lot better. With your method, I think I can actually make this look decent, without my boyfriend having to fix it for me haha.

@@Marianellyy I did it. I only cut off about 5 cms to see if I could do it properly. Now it's still on the half of my back, so I might shorten it more the next time I'll cut it :) Thanks again for your video. It really worked at not getting that ugly V shape.

  • @pineapplesnoopy1876

Great video! A step further would be to do a low ponytail at the back and pull it right down your back, tucking your chin under, then cut about half an inch off the end. This cuts off the very tip (which is probably more noticeable with straighter hair) just to make the shape even more rounded. Have you seen Feye's Method online? She describes that process really well with detail such as whether you tuck your chin or not in order to get the result you want.

I liked the voice over instead of the taking while cutting, you have a nice smooth voice and you spoke clearly but not too fast. Pretty good. I'm constantly surprised when I meet curly girls and they say the spend $300 to $400 for a cut and highlights. That's crazy! I pay $200 but I only go every 3 months or 6 months, so three times a year. The reason I say surprised is because some of the girls live in the projects/public housing that has to be more than the monthly rent.

Hey! Love the way your hair turned out :) I've tried cutting my own hair following your tutorial twice now and each time I feel like my ends don't blend in very well; the ends look straight and each strand just stands out and not in a good way. Is it something I'm doing wrong? Is there a way to get better ends?

Did you shape the bits around your face? they look quite a bit shorter than the rest of your hair and would expect they didn't make into the part of the unicorn-tail that got cut?

Can you PLEASE tell me the products (shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner) that you use on your hair? I went and had mine done a couple years ago and it got ruined. My hair used to be as curly as yours but is now half as curly. I am trying so many different things to try and fix it! Thank you! I would really appreciate any recommendations! Right now I’ve been using a mix between Shea moisture and Doves all natural hair care curly line. Thanks!!!

Garlic paste and oreganos are totally optional and if you love a really spicy maggi increase the amount of green chillies and/or red chilli powder, do share your reviews after trying!!

to cut the v shape just part it as you did in the middle and bring it at the front and do a beard ponytail and just cut all that v shape will be gone and it's going to be easier and also even :) I also cut my hair like this and its nice same as at the salon just a little bit better when I do it lol

I think a lot of the volume she has at the top comes from a previous cut. Her shortest layers are too short to have been cut in the haircut of this video.

Curl many layers, long hair, divide the hair in more tails.
      Step one
2 low tails side, cut 1cm ( can always more later)
Again 2 sides behind above beginning ear, 1 cm. Take the hair to the side horizontale, cut.
1 tail top middle head, cut.
1 tail front between eyes, cut.
Then 1 tail high pony tail, soft spot on the head, take the hair horizontale to the back, and cut.
This is only with really curling hair, you can find a round cut.
Never take to much of,can always do that later.

    • @Marianellyy
      @Marianellyy  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

Hey, this video is WITHOUT the V shape it’s a U shape rounded at the bottom. Feel free to cut off more to make it rounder at the bottom I recommend cutting in small section to prevent any mistakes 😬
