I’m pretty sure burnt ends are the edges of a brisket. Usually they crisp up more than the center. Regardless, thank you for the review guys. Great work!!
You are correct Trevor - Burnt Ends are the edge of brisket that do in fact get more bark. Nothing to do with pulled pork. Guess they are not smoked meat guys.
Sean's statement about why he likes his drink gave me a good laugh! LOVE Steve's shirt! As for not knowing what burnt ends are, I do agree with another commenter to look up or ask if you don't know what something is. So many people guess and provide wrong information these days when the answer is at our fingertips. However, I do like and appreciate that everyone on the dining reviews isn't a food expert yet you all try new and different things. Love that about the team!
Generally I really like food reviews here. You guys all do a good job w a down to earth review with a nice mix of ppl to give different perspectives. My one criticism is that often there seems to be lack of knowledge about what you’re eating. Please just do a quick search w your phone if you don’t know what something is. Burnt ends are not an unusual item and it’s literally the fatty end of a brisket. It has NOTHING to do w pork. Because of the fat content, they require longer cooking to render the fat. This means the ends are either twice cooked, or removed prior to cooking the brisket and cooked separately due to the longer cook time. When made properly, burnt ends are delicious.
We love this lounge and always make a point to stop in at least once every trip. It's usually not very busy and it's quiet compared to most places on property - usually mostly adults.
Those nachos look so good! I might have to through together a homemade version since I won't be going to Wilderness Lodge any time soon. lol Love the food reviews!

What is Sean's thing? Everything he talks about, he says it's not his thing...LOL What do you like?
Great review guys. You’re an awesome combo for a review!!
I’ve never seen it so busy!! We usually have the whole place to ourselves!!
Sean it does get better when you slow down at Disney and you can appreciate everything.
Sean, you're hilarious! Also love Steve's pop-socket
I like vodka cran, too. Great review. You guys are killing it with the Wilderness Lodge this week.
I've only heard the term "burnt ends" used in reference to beef brisket

I have been wanting to try this place for a long time. All my friends that have been says the apps are awesome along with the drinks.
Looks good!
1:15 That drink must've been based on the redone Kungaloosh, not the original one: th-cam.com/video/X77TFqD6JMc/w-d-xo.html
