Best one- or two- yard TD was by Earl Campbell when he was absolutely blasted by Oakland's Jack Tatum and somehow staggers backwards across the goal line. Classic. I knew you'd forget it.
Ian Eagle’s call of the Miami Miracle is superb, but I’m still impartial to Steve Smith’s walk-off TD in the second OT of the Panthers/Rams Divisional Round matchup in 2003. X-Clown, baby
I love that my favorite game ever makes this list twice. Niners-Saints divisional round. Smith runs for a td and Vernon Davis with The Catch III. Niners had to pullout repeated exceptional plays to overcome Drew Brees, Jimmy Graham, and Sean Payton just making greatness look easy.
Man, pretty wild seeing all the legends who did (or didn't) make the cut on this list. Then you have the best of the best showing up multiple times in this, and somehow Tim Tebow is here twice too.
I see that these runs, especially the last 10, have major historical value, but Mike Alstot's 1 yard second effort driving on his back TD is unforgettable.
Moss lateral to Moe Williams should be on here. I'm not sure if you'd call it 15 yards (the lateral) or 59 yards (the line of scrimmage), but it's better than both of those in this video.
For the purposes of the video, the distance of the touchdown is from the line of scrimmage for offense or from the spot of possession for defense and special teams. So it would've been 59 yards.
This compilation of great plays took great effort and time. A good job at representing different eras as well! I'm sure we all have a play here and there that we'd rather see make the cut, but tough choices must be made. My vote for the 42 yard play would be John Riggins' run in super bowl 17.
With all due respect, among all 6-yard TD plays in NFL history, Joe Montana to Dwight Clark for "The Catch" is now the runner-up. Ben Roethlisberger to Santonio Holmes for the game-winning TD in Super Bowl XLIII is the best of all, for two reasons: 1. Montana to Clark ADVANCED their team to the Super Bowl, but Roethlisberger to Holmes WON their team the Super Bowl. I know that "The Catch" gave the 49ers their first Super Bowl appearance, but a game-winning play late in the Super Bowl still beats a game-winning play late in the NFC (or AFC) Championship Game. 2. Roethlisberger to Holmes required a PERFECT pass in addition to the tremendous concentration on the catch. Montana had to throw his pass high enough to avoid defenders, but low enough for Clark to catch, which is definitely difficult, but Clark was nowhere near the sideline, so the window was still larger for Montana than it was for Roethlisberger, who had to throw his pass high AND outside enough to avoid defenders, but low AND inside enough for Holmes to catch and still get his feet down in-bounds. I can even accept the two plays as 1A and 1B, but leaving out a Super Bowl-winning play that required perfection for both the catch AND the pass is a glaring oversight.
Barry Sanders, just reminding us that he's the greatest running back EVER! No debate. And always pure class. No need to celebrate after every score. My advice to showboat players nowadays is, "Act like you've been there before, let your game speak for itself, and show some humility."
I guess this is a hot take, but I feel like the Philly Special deserves a spot on this list for the 1-yard line. It is one of the most iconic plays in super bowl history and still has a lasting impact on the game, including this season.
Yup John Carney I think his name was. I tuned in to the last like 3 minutes after the game i was watching was over and caught this part. Then he missed the damn kick.
Not even an eagles fan, but I think the Philly special deserves the list. Might be sort of recency bias, but it turned into such an iconic play and moment
Somehow Santonio Holmes winning SB 43 in the corner of the endzone wasn't on here. Neither was the philly special. I'm not sure of their exact yard lines but they were two of the most iconic plays in nfl history. Not sure what beat them.
@@bobapjok4241 Holmes was the greatest single catch/TD in Super Bowl history, in both skill and moment. The Catch has been used to over glorify a pure system QB in Montana forever.

I haven't forgotten about Ed Reed's interception return for more than 100 yards vs the Eagles. But let's not forget about Lito Sheppard's interception vs the Cowgirls back in 2006. Unbelievable plays in NFL history
10:17 I love how you cut the play short and not show the TD and also not showing the TD on replay because Jackson does a great job for not finishing his TDs.
I'd say the 6 yard TD should be Roethlisberger to Holmes over Montana Clark. Yes, I know "The Catch" is one of the most iconic plays in NFL history, but Roethlisberger's pass to Holmes won them the Super Bowl. Montana's pass got the 49ers to the Big Game, but Roethlisberger's won it.
The catch is more famous and better because Montana threw it off his back foot and Clark jumped for it really high so I would not change it, it is the best at 6 yards
When Allen reversed fields, I was in the bay area. They interviewed Lester Hays 37, he had a bad studder we laughed with him not at him. What did he say ? No one knew. We had bunch of us wanting the Raiders to win.
Yes. The rule was different then. It was a poor choice to change it IMO. If a ball is in play, then a ball is in play. For some reason the infamous rules committee disagreed.
The fact that Ed Reed has 2 100+ yard pick 6s is INSANE

Moss lateral to Moe Williams should be on here. I'm not sure if you'd call it 15 yards (the lateral) or 59 yards (the line of scrimmage), but it's better than both of those in this video.
For the purposes of the video, the distance of the touchdown is from the line of scrimmage for offense or from the spot of possession for defense and special teams. So it would've been 59 yards.
REST IN PEACE DEMAYRIUS THOMAS YOU LEGEND
This compilation of great plays took great effort and time. A good job at representing different eras as well! I'm sure we all have a play here and there that we'd rather see make the cut, but tough choices must be made. My vote for the 42 yard play would be John Riggins' run in super bowl 17.
It was such a great time being a niners fan back then, now it’s just heartbreak in championship games and super bowls almost every year
With all due respect, among all 6-yard TD plays in NFL history, Joe Montana to Dwight Clark for "The Catch" is now the runner-up. Ben Roethlisberger to Santonio Holmes for the game-winning TD in Super Bowl XLIII is the best of all, for two reasons:
I can even accept the two plays as 1A and 1B, but leaving out a Super Bowl-winning play that required perfection for both the catch AND the pass is a glaring oversight.
agree on this one
100% correct.
Barry Sanders, just reminding us that he's the greatest running back EVER! No debate. And always pure class. No need to celebrate after every score. My advice to showboat players nowadays is, "Act like you've been there before, let your game speak for itself, and show some humility."
I was expecting to see Santonio Holmes SB XLIII game winner for the 6 yard TD.
5:21 And best/worst non-call block in the back for the 100 yard INT return.
Throwback Best TD Every Yard Line Final
I had a stroke reading that

Jacoby Jones 109 yard kickoff return in the Super Bowl
not close to Cromartie. He ran like his baby mamas was chasin' him.
Always nice to see the legends making big plays but the players I never heard of was cool too!
This is amazing, so pumped for the 2022 season ⚡
Marshawn Lynch was the Derrick Henry we all grew up with in the 2010s
The Music City Miracle should have been on this list.
Devin Hester opening the super bowl with a kickoff was so hype
These plays are amazing !! 😎
32:14 Props to that ref that fell, but still gave a td signal!
I guess this is a hot take, but I feel like the Philly Special deserves a spot on this list for the 1-yard line. It is one of the most iconic plays in super bowl history and still has a lasting impact on the game, including this season.
Terrible take
0:46 greatest spin move ever
Antonio Cromartie had 10 picks, and 2 tds in 2007. Amazing
The 2 lynch ones and the Kearse nfc championship winners are still engraved vividly in my memory
Greatest Yards Touchdown Tony Dorsett 99 1982 Dallas Cowboys Against Minnesota Vikings Thanks For Uploading
I agree. I believe it was the first time that was done too.
Derrick Henry's run is better, and will always be better than Dorsett's
@@lougiacobbi725 Did Tennessee have only 10 men on the field for that one? Case closed. 😂
When Henry drops the ball in the end zone after tying nfl record...bruh that's a valuable ball!
Holy shit I ain’t realize how fast Brian urlacher is, his acceleration on that second clip is insane.
The dedication to make this video is my inspiration in life. How do you find all the 1 yard touchdowns?
Yo Lawrence Taylor was moving after that pick
Some of these pick 6 are absolutely amazing. Juking and weaving with bodies all around
Fun Fact: On the 75 Yd. TD by the Saints(14:40-15:08), their kicker missed the extra on the very next play having them lose by 1 point.
As an Eagles fan, I agree 😎
If you want a classic Eagles' play, I'd pick Randall Cunningham staying on his feet after getting belted and making the throw. A big MNF moment.
I'm dying at the fact the Giants literally blocked a field goal, and lost because of it.
3:40 is why coaches always tell you to play through the whistle
Alex Smith was in this more than anyone expected 🤣🤣🤣
Somehow Santonio Holmes winning SB 43 in the corner of the endzone wasn't on here. Neither was the philly special. I'm not sure of their exact yard lines but they were two of the most iconic plays in nfl history. Not sure what beat them.
I was wondering about the Santonio Holmes catch also but it was a 6-yard catch. It was amazing but I understand it getting beat out by "The Catch"
Santonio was a 6yd. they went with "the catch" for that one, but was that really better than a game winning super bowl catch? I dont think so
@@bobapjok4241 Holmes was the greatest single catch/TD in Super Bowl history, in both skill and moment. The Catch has been used to over glorify a pure system QB in Montana forever.
@Jared Hutchins say you don't know much about the NFL without saying you don't know much about the NFL.
@@lougiacobbi725i agree 100%. It was nice catch, but it's not as great as what it is made out to be
field goal return touchdowns will always be my favorite plays. +9(+extra points) point swing while also just booking it over 100+ yards down the field will always be so satisfying to watch
Loved the whole thing, I’d have liked to see best 0 yard td (like picks/fumble recovered in end zone)
My first instinct would be the Holy Roller for that.
Underrated: the ref in that Natrone Means TD. Gets lit up by the mass of humanity barreling into him and still has the wherewithal to signal touchdown
ed reed is in every of the first clips of returning touchdowns or pick sixes!! he's a beast of an safty build like an linebacker!!
th-cam.com/video/yfM6VLqh95M/w-d-xo.html
Don’t trust him, I fell for it last time
i know that was a scam!!
That mahomes score was definitely my favorite, that run was awesome
I haven't forgotten about Ed Reed's interception return for more than 100 yards vs the Eagles. But let's not forget about Lito Sheppard's interception vs the Cowgirls back in 2006. Unbelievable plays in NFL history
No one cares about a nobody Eagirl INT during a nothing game in 2006 lol
Very impressive compilation!! I'm sure the next 106 would be equally entertaining. I'd love to see pt II
Sooo you guys watched every play from every game ever??
10:17 I love how you cut the play short and not show the TD and also not showing the TD on replay because Jackson does a great job for not finishing his TDs.
How far back was Lamar Jackson's touchdown run against the Bengals? I'd like to know what ousted that one. Must've been quite the play to do so.
The spin in the second one was crazy
Still waiting on that Randall Cunningham career highlight video.
Still can’t believe Tim Tebow won a playoff game 12:56
RIP Demaryius Thomas
Not one touchdown from Ladainian Tomlinson ?⚡️
The Vikings recovering Allen's fumble would probably be the 0-yard one if that was included.
Damn... Bo Jackson was FAST AF
🏃🏽💨!!
When Allen reversed fields, I was in the bay area. They interviewed Lester Hays 37, he had a bad studder we laughed with him not at him. What did he say ? No one knew. We had bunch of us wanting the Raiders to win.
The fact that the Miami miracle was "69" yards makes it even more nice😎
How was 3:40 not a touchback ? Was the rule different then?
Yes. At that time the ball had to go out of the back of the end zone to be a touchback
They must have made the rule because of that
@@Campain-gz3kj Preciate that
@@Campain-gz3kj Preciate that
Yes. The rule was different then.
It was a poor choice to change it IMO. If a ball is in play, then a ball is in play. For some reason the infamous rules committee disagreed.
0:45 that spin gets me every time
it got everyone on the defense too lol :)
Ed Reed forever the GOAT!
