Also, this porch was most likely installed after the building was built. as the cladding on the crawlspace is different from the bricks used to construct the porch (cladding is generally more expensive than brick (brick is also useful structurally where cladding is only good for decoration and insulation (and possible water resistance)) which means the budget was likely incredibly low, which is why the structure seems off. In short, it looks weird, but is practical... ish.

They write it in the truck and then go stick it on the door. Also, in college I ordered insomnia cookies one time, waited in the living room, then got a message that they tried to deliver but no one answered. Even though they lied, I still had to go to the store to pick it up

Talking about old growth, when I was younger, I used to live at a T intersection. At the end, there was a MASSIVE maple tree, the thing was 150 years old and about 10 feet in diameter. It got cut down, not because it was dead, not because it was too damaged to stand on it's own. NO, it was cut down because during the winter, people were going too fast to make the stop and would inevitably plow into it. Thus to save some car damages, the city cut the tree down because behind it was a field that would make the crash safer. That tree had my treehouse, damnit.
