I like how the first pin displays Malzeno's intelligence. It's been a "guardian" for who knows how long, keeping peace over the forest, tundra and the people. After examining the hunter, it seemed surprised to realize this larger-than-normal armored beetle was one of the people it protected. The second one is the standard Malzeno pin, but still states that Malzeno is currently frantic and manic, unable to sustain himself under the effects of the Qurio despite being somewhat Risen.
It's not protecting anything. It's defending its territory. That's it. The game even tells you this. Elder Dragons might be very intelligent, but at the end of the day they're just animals.
@@kingofflames738 thats not just it u oversized toaster. i agree on it being an animal and just protectin its territory but that little primozeno noggin would probably know that humans weren't hostile and therefore not a perceived threat similar to other monsters up until our (and the kingdom's) advent.
I really like how he took a good look at the hunter when he used his tail to bring him up, as if he’s presenting his own judgment onto the hunter like how a judge would a criminal. It’s like his way to serving justice before finishing his foe off.
Last phase is basically a desperation phase. It does like 6-8 attacks in a row before a final explosion. It also has immunity to items like flashbombs and marionette spider, so you genuinely can't interrupt it with anything other than weapon damage
Dude's prolly one of the most intelligent non dfcm(black dragon) monsters as smart if not somewhat above shagaru magala's intelligence. Gold and silver. One angelic one effectivly a paladin.
hard enough that even longswords struggle countering him because the amount of follow up attacks in his kit, one of his combos has 4 wide area follow up attacks, not to mention his constant repositioning

@@kingofflames738Just animals, you say? But which one? Because some animals do protect other species, like some humpbacks protecting seals from orcas
@@legalwaterdrinker3286 An animal that just defends its territory, like stated in the game.
The visuals on that "Risen" mode are absolutely gorgeous.
It’s more like blood rage but yes it flipping magnificent 😊
i think that mode is called "bloodlust"
@@ragonhill bloodlust or bloodrage mode which ever works
Theres is official name of each modes in japanese but idk if theres name for english, but its definitity not called risen
@@ragonhill correct for phase 3, phase 2 is bloodrage
Honestly I'd kinda count his wing tackle as one because it locks you and you have to wire bug out of it
I like how careful it is with the hunter and just throw them out like that instead of ripping them apart with those sharp tail claw
Malzeno teleport sound never gets old, wish there was a video of just malzeno teleport sounds. 💀
Ikr???
Gorgeous bass boosted warp sounds

I thought it was about to throw the hunter in the air and impale them Malenia style.
Missed opportunity😢
Did he just teleport 2 times super quick at the end
Yeah he does that sometimes, especially during his last phase
Not sometimes, all the time
he only teleports after he is enhanced by the qurio

He be mormorbin'
The First One is a New Pin attack but the Second one Is the same pin attack
I am Melania, Blade of Miquella
"I am Malzeno, archknight of the ruined kingdom"
It took me a sec to find out what the hell was going on in the thumbnail
Yoo Morbius Prime actually uses the tail claw
Okay that's awakening something in people
Primordial Malzeno is literally Vlad the Impaler reincarnate
why does malzeno here kinda look like a zenith monster from frontier
I thought he was going to impale me with his wing

Gold and silver. One angelic one effectivly a paladin.
Wait, theres a risen version?! It looked bad ass in the orange
I think thats his enraged mode or something
i heard somewhere that mode is called "bloodlust"
Its the bloodlust mode… but technically it is risen… since this guy strong enough to not afflicted for ages…

OwO
Demolished.
Can you do Primo Malz full combos too? They're super cool
I tried but failed
OUCH!
Is it a harder fight than red Malzeno?
yes
You don't have an idea of how harder he is
hard enough that even longswords struggle countering him because the amount of follow up attacks in his kit, one of his combos has 4 wide area follow up attacks, not to mention his constant repositioning
