To say they are the greatest Australian band that has ever been-would be a massive understatement. Jimmy Barnes-Ian Moss-don Walker-phil small-and every other person that has made them the immortals they are. ASDA great Tina Turner did say you guys are simply the best.
I was there ! Proof Jimmy was wasted, haha. I remember the dodgy wonky scaffold and plank seating. Was a bit scary up the top! My first live show, I was 14, and I'll never forget it.
I may be pulling your leg-this may not be true. However-I believe Jimmy Barnes is the most loyal dedicated-true Australian there has ever been. This country gave him his life-he has not forgotten. So honest-true-humble-decent and kind. Hey traits everybody the same. No matter your fame or money-nomadi your place in society hey Charlie loves this country and all who are part of it-the best most fantastic Australian I have ever known.
So true. He opened a soup kitchen in Bowral. Nobody would know that. He did it out of the kindness of his heart. Many of his songs are about Australia too. You aren't pulling anyone's leg. The only thing I'll say is, he's in good company. Farnsey for example. I'm not a huge fan of his but he loves our beautiful country too. He taught Jimmy how to sing. I read that earlier and I'm not sure if I believe it haha
Actually the lyrics are weird and it's an understandable mistake. You don't usually talk about catching the last plane out of anywhere. That's what you say about trains and buses. Planes are something you book ahead and turn up for, not just run to the airport hoping there's a seat available.

Me too, 'train' every time. Also, Sydney's Kingsford Smith Airport does have a curfew to limit night time noise in the surrounding suburbs. So technically there is a 'last plane'.
Congratulations 50 of all the music I love ♥️🎸🎶❤️
Forever Now, fab song. Congratulations!
Flame trees for me
Khe San is one of my favourite songs of all time and what's unique about it is that it has no chorus.

I'm with Mossy, One Long Day (Swingshift version) is one of my favourites.
Fantastic band
They look fabulous 😍

Shipping Steel and Conversations were good. That was the late 70s
I hope they play misfits and shipping steel 👍
Fantastic choice there David. Maybe shipping steel. Misfits should have appeared on East. Just before My turn to cry..
100% guarentee shipping steel will be played at the Wollongong and Newcastle shows.
+ Mona and the preacher ☝🏼
Chisel are by far my favourite band, right next to Pearl Jam.

One Long Day. Unheralded classic.
Hmm interesting, greatest band ever on the worst show ever.
