That woman at the beginning is totally “ON TARGET”... regardless of how she articulated it! The veteran issue is a total disgrace! Veterans should be treated with respect and kindness. Illegals shouldn’t be getting anything. They are here ILLEGALLY!!!
I don’t blame her for her language with the four letter words. If anything she showed remarkable restraint and composure! I would have been far harsher and harder on the miserable uncaring politicians who don’t give a damn about the regular people and show it over and over again! They quickly become millionaires by extortion and racketeering! They think (?) that we are stupid because they kick us and we keep voting them in anyway no matter what! For my part, this middle aged New York City resident is voting for the Big Bad Orange Man Bad and I don’t give a damn if I am made fun of!

My grandmother was a WWII, 1st LEUTENANT, RN. She came home and got her master's in public health nursing and worked with disabled children. Then she volunteered for the president of The Alzheim's Association and the V.A.
She would be soooooo sad and angry. I hear people who wind up questioning why they'd done "it at all." It may have broken her enough to return her 4 bronze stars. Deplorable is right.

We have the same problem in the Uk. We have homeless veterans on our streets but illegal immigrants ( all well dressed young men) are being housed in new build houses in some areas . If that happened to MY dad, there would be hell to pay! Period. Luckily he's still very active and sharp as a tack and lives in his own home in Sarasota FL. You know, imagine how this man must feel! I'm so heartbroken at this treatment. Unacceptable. 😢
Her passion regarding Veterans nearly made me tear up. Im a Vet and have been fighting to save my home because I can't afford to make the mortgage payments anymore. Less than 90k would pay it off and less than 800 monthly will cover it. But non citizens get way WAY more. I don't want to be homeless and another statistic.

My friend is a dishwasher at a restaurant. He makes I think btwn $13-$14 an hour. His rent just went up to$720 in "low income" housing. He gets $30 a month in foodstamps. Just keep from being homeless AGAIN, he eats nothing but ramen noodles daily. This truly infuriates me.

It is a punch to the gut of every American, whether born here, or those who came legally, became citizens and work and pay taxes! These migrants get it all and get jobs handed to them besides. I am a female combat veteran and I have been waiting 3 years for the government to make a decision on my claim. My taxes are taking care of all the illegal immigrants and I have not seen a dime. Hell I can’t even get a decision!!

The VA hospital didn't treat my father correctly, he got injured at the hospital.
We transported him immediately to a regular hospital. We sent the VA the bill. They paid, rather than being sued.
This treatment of homeless veterans is terrible.

I injured my knee and had to have surgery. Couldn't work. 10 month recovery process. When I was working, teaching children with disabilities, I opted to pay for extra disability insurance. Long story short, my disability insurance only paid me 2300 mo. for 6 mos. Couldn't qualify for long term disability, because you have to be disabled for at least 12 mos. Lost my apartment, had to move in with my son, couldn't go back to work, working with children, but had to take a job caring for adults in a group home, because I have bills to pay. I'm only half in, to my recovery. I've worked since I was 14 years old, (I'm 58) under a student program and I've been paying into the system. Now I'm limping around, working 15 hr days and can't qualify for medical assistance (that ended shortly after my job ended too) so no physical therapy. I'm clapping my damn hands real loudly!!

I am so disgusted with how well the immigrants are being treated, and how badly the Veterans are being treated. I recently went to Cosco, I wanted to cry, because some of those migrants had two shopping carts filled to capacity, with all the expensive stuff. Meanwhile, I have to make a list and decide what I can afford to buy. I am not the only American citizen who have worked for over fifty years and pay taxes and is now suffering to make ends meet. We all have to make changes in who we put in office.
