Many Car youtubers would just put a Broll and a bunch of instrumental on the engine rebuild part. We watch such videos to learn from them, not just entertainment and Namz has understood the assignment! Good job Namz!
I'm going through a lot of shit in my life at the moment with sleepless nights and rough days. I don't know why but your videos help me forget my worries for 30mins and keep me going. Screw the haters you're a legend bro
Masha Allah! Great video brother, I had to subscribe following your indepth explanation of the engine rebuild. Most car enthusiasts only give attention to how a car looks and how shiny the parts are, forgetting about the main part of a car. You are a credit to your craft, I salute the teachers who taught you. Wish this channel all the success🙂
I normally watch the Matt Armstrong videos and find it fascinating to see how they repair a write-off. This though, a fully f**ked engine is something else. Fair play mate, will be tough to top this. Would be interesting to see a Lambo or Ferrari next 👀
Agreed Mat has moved away from this interesting type of content, unfortunately. a full rebuild used to be many video showing lots of steps, now it is a couple of videos for a full build.
Namz nuff respect, you take the time to explain things. A novice like me who has no experience of a car engine you've made it easier to understand through stages which is great. You have some great experienced mechanics around you Namz who are doing a great job 👍🏾
WHY NOT GLUE OR WELD THE HEAD GASKET GRID THING ON TO THE EMGINE PERMANTELY RATHER THAN RELY ON BOLTS THAT WAY IT CANT ALLOW THE OIL AND COILING SOLUTION TO MIX AND PREVENT FAILURE
@@5905-k8vyou can’t have anything other than the gasket in between the head and block. Even a couple of mm difference in thickness can change the compression ratio. If you were to put a glue/sealant between then it would increase the hight of the head in relation to the block. In essence increasing the compression ratio, meaning the engine could either not run right or lose power. That is why when a head is skimmed it’s literally microns that’s a removed to get a good surface again. Welding would put too much head into the head a likely cause warping. In short, head gasket failure is pretty rare and there is absolutely no need to do anything to stop it.
Not only does he shoot a video but at the same time he also teaches a lot of things, that’s why I reckon namzboost is the best TH-camr in my books right now👌🏽🤩
You guys definitely know your stuff ma sha Allah, I’ve got an Evo x fq360 sitting on my drive for 10 years now, never seen it run, new hks engine and it cranks but no spark, wish I had the same energy as you
Brother after watching this any people local to you should come for any work to you as you have shown you know how to fix cars ,Stay humble and stay blessed!!!
NAMZ YOU ARE MENTAL BRO!!! The knowledge you and your team have about cars is literally genius! When I buy a nice car will definitely be coming to you guys for my exhaust systems and remaps in shaa Allah ! Smashing it
i have the same SVR. theres a exhaust open and close near the center console . i dont even think he pressed the button, its even louder when the valves are open. However, cold start up may probaby have the valves open anyways till the car warms up
Namz top mechanic in London. The knowledge is unmatched. Wow. Just curious bro how much would this cost a customer to do if he gave it to you? Rough estimate
I bought a 2016 Jaguar f-type R (5.0 Supercharge) same engines as in the video. Got it from the auction for 3k and it was sitting for 2 years. No one wanted to buy it because the car looked expensive 😂. Turns out the engine jumped time and bent the valves.
Nice work, you're that look far to easy, reckon I can do this now, I have changed a fuse and 2 tyres before haha, sounds awesome should leave exhaust off ha
The smudge on the camera lens was so annoying for me Was regularly in line with your face lol kept swiping my screen to get rid of it haha Awesome vid namz Love your stuff Keep up the good work g 👌
That mechanic deserves a bonus! Very talented!
No jokes, no music and Hollywood editing. Straight up cars and how it’s done. Love the content!

@@NamzBoost HEY NAMZ COULD I TAKE A V8 ENGINE IKE THAT AND SWAP IT INTO A TOYOTA ? AND IF SO WOULD I HAVE TO TELL THE DVLA ???
@ anything is possible and yes you would need to tell DVLA

I’ve learnt more from this videos than in 17 years of maintaining cars as a driver.

Love the content bro keep up the hard work. You should do more engine rebuilds and go into more details about engine rebuilds ❤
When I do a rebuild I pull out the relay for the fuel pump then you can turn it over without starting it
so its not really a engine out job for a timing chain replacement right?
It's like open heart surgery. I love it!

@19:55 all of their engines were ford from when they were owned by Ford, it was only around 2018 they started transitioning away
Fantastic 💪👏🏼
No check done on ring or oil retainer ring, never align them, seems you missed, bet your mechanic never missed it
