I came back to this to say that the planet pass idols were always worth keeping your eye on, because the coaches felt like they improved the most/fastest and had the most potential. No surprise that all of them have/are about to debut. I feel like companies definitely noticed what the coaches had to say about them. Although I do think Suyeon was going to debut no matter what.

I do not totally agree with your comment. It may be true that for this round that your reasoning and viewpoint are valid for the trainees that received the planet pass on gp999. However, I do not feel that for other rounds (on episode 5 and episode 11 respectively on gp999), the trainees that received the planet pass were selected simply based on that criteria. I feel that the trainees that were chosen to receive the planet pass on episode 5 and episode 11 by Mnet were not chosen because Mnet felt that they have the best prospect to become a future kpop idol or Mnet feel that those trainees have the best chance to go far in the competition, I think Mnet just use the trainees to receive the planet pass as like a shock moment or to create a surprise/suspense moment for the eliminated trainees for that round on gp999. I feel that other than Suyeon and Ruan, Mnet did not really give any highlight to their performances for the trainees that received planet pass on gp999.
Agree totally, especially after the comment that was made by one of the judges that praised Yeyoung after Yeyoung group performance of All About You on episode 7 on gp999.

Suyeon debuted as Sheon on Billlie on November 2021 (she debuted before Kep1er).
