if you love it stick with it but if it's causing more stress and more harm than good then definitely reconsider. we as nurses can put our hearts into so many other jobs in this career

I've experienced similar situation. When stress shutdown my body I was done. No more talking, no bargaining, no nothing. I left, yes I needed the money, but I had to rediscover me. Self-love and care trumps $$$ any and every given day. God's got us and it's time e to show him we are thankful.

I’m in Fl and I work as a unit manager and it is the most stressful mess I ever dealt with. I stay on the cart due to staffing issues and nobody listens just want to argue. I’ve concerned quitting plenty of times.

Are any of you or have any of you felt the way I do ? Quitting a job is very easy when your health is in the line or when you're spending more time at work than at home. What did you all do , or if you haven't experienced this, what would you have done in my situation? Comment down below 🙂 let's chat 💬

Like 8-5 is a realistic nursing routine. 🙄 That is a totally unrealistic expectation.
    It doesn't work like that.

not sure what you mean because i've been a nurse for 5 years and i have had all kinds of schedules from 5am-2pm to 7am-7pm to 8am-5pm, 7-3pm i've done it all. so i'm not sure what doesn't work about a schedule but if that's what i'm told i'm supposed to work that's what i'm gonna work. especially now that i've been a nurse long enough to realize that higher ups will try to push you or scrutinize you into doing more when you stand your ground you either get what you deserve or end up leaving for something else and they lose all together .

      @@nyreshadchae9510 I don't see 7p-7a or 11p-7a in your list of schedules.
I often see so many new nurses thinking they will automatically work a day job, assuming they will "naturally" sleep at night. Very presumptive of them.🙄
It is generally customary that the newer folks will cover the night shift until a day job opens up.
