While chatting with ET's Rachel Smith, June opens up about the 'dark place' she was in at the time, sharing why she spent her daughter’s money. Plus, Alana reacts to her sisters, Jessica Shannon and Pumpkin, saying they believe her boyfriend Dralin, is 'the one' for her! 'Mama June: Family Crisis' returns to WE tv on June 14.

No I suspect she put the legal amount or just above in Alana's account. So she covered her butt. But the legal amount is 15% she put in 20% and spent the other 80% which would have been substantial and if she was helping the family it would be ok but she spent on drugs but then possibly stole some of the 20% as well.

June is a worthless human being and should not be a mother, she talks about the money that she spent was for Alana's necessities but if Alana was not working as a child worker doing the job that she was doing then where would the money come from you know it would be June spending her own money out of her own pocket so any extra money that let Alana was making should have been put up into Alana's account and should not have been touched not one bit should have been touched maybe 1% of it I can understand but other than that she should have never touched her daughter's money if anything the woman could have got a job doing something somewhere somewhere somehow because I know for a fact my daughter is 11 and she doesn't have a job I pay for everything that she gets or needs and I don't expect anything from her and I know for a fact that if she had a coogan account best believe I'd make sure she had everything when she turned 18 and out of respect she should have talked to her daughter about every little cent where I was going and everything and if it's apparently come out that she used the money to buy the house then that's Alana's house and it should not be in anybody's name but Alana's

Parents can struggle too. My mother and I were homeless at one point and a few timed we struggled during my life for a few years. And off and on with food and electricity also some months. Personally I wouldn't mind if my mother spent some of my money if she was struggling and we needed it.

@@amberjohnson9846 Ohh no darling. Everyone who was on that show collected a paycheck. Honey boo boo's cut was just higher because she was the star. And aside from June's own cut from being in the show, the parents do get a percentage from what the kids get paid in order to actually care for and raise that child, hence why you here them mention a percentage here.
The child actor trust account was created for the exact purpose of what June did, it happened to tons of kids in Hollywood in the 90's. The parents see ALL that money rolling in and get greedy, spending it all before the kid even turns 18, and claim it was necessary to spend hundreds of thousands, if not millions to "take care of the family". So when the kids come of age they turn out broke dispite all the hard work they did for YEARS, which turned out to just be free labour and being pimped out by they're parents. Dont worry, June got her money, she just got greedy beyond food this time

Alana would have made a LOT more than 35K during the years, so I think the truth is significantly worse than portrayed. She's actually going to school and changing the trajectory of her life which is amazing. June definitely needs to be held accountable for this. We all know where the money went, we saw it play out - drugs, houses, expensive gifts for her partners etc. None of that to benefit Alana or the other children.
june put the legal amount required into the account so there's nothing to hold her accountable for.. she did what was legally required. If people have a problem with how much is required to be put into the coogan account then they should push for the law to be amended to increase the amount required to be put into the account.

They can’t because the show requires them to all film together for more drama and that’s their $$. That’s why her mom really didn’t want Alana to go away for college because she’s a big part of the show, and she doesn’t want to lose the check.
@@vanessacintron9716 I think the main reason for not wanting her to go to college was for them not to find out how much was really stolen. If she didn't need the money then she assumed she wouldn't ask for it, but Alana could have wanted to buy a house, invest or start her own business.

But she just lied to EVERYONE about how much it was even on film how she told Justin she went “above and beyond” and put 80%, and only kept 20%”. However when she was arguing she said and it showed she only put 20% even though the bare minimum I think was like 15 or 18 and she thinks because she did 20% she’s the best. And then said all the other money paid for trip and thing but then paid for the house they had when they started this show. This happens often. Why is it up to the parents to put the minors money into the coogan acct? Why doesn’t it come directly out of any checks they receive? Like a taxes do, or a garnishment. It shouldn’t be able to b accessed by anyone but the minor-when they turn 18.

It doesn’t make sense..they must have access so they can use the money for the child… I don’t know anything about it.. but I can completely judge (although I don’t think June did anything ethical) cause if she has a right to the account, then she has a right to the account.
I agree. It shouldn't be up to the parents to put the minors money into the account, it should be a requirement of the people paying her the money to deposit her money into the coogan account. June technically (and legally) did nothing wrong.. If people are unhappy with 20% going to the coogan account and think it should be more than that then they should push to have the law amended to increase the percentage put into the account.

It is a chunk of change but I expected she would have had close to a million being that she was involved with 4 shows. She was featured in toddlers and tiaras, star of Honey boo boo,was on from not to not ,and on the current show.
