that is a stunning finish! It makes my top 4 fave Ludwig wraps, along with Vintage White Marine Pearl, Black Diamond Pearl and Sky Blue Pearl.
One of the nicest finishes ive ever seen
If you want Classic Look, then paint the bass drum hoops black!
What a gorgeous and super classy finish.!
Fun fact, Burgundy pearl was a finish used on Premier kits in the 60s/70s.
That finish is gorgeous!

I really hope you guys decide to make Burgundy Pearl a standard wrap in 2022. It's a shame you limited it to 2021 only.

If I were Ludwig drums I would never use the word PEARL in any of my products....
I get what you mean but technically Ludwig started using the word PEARL waaayyyy long before some Japanese guy named his own businness that way. No reason to drop it IMHO
Not that you dont know this already, but the word "Pearl" was used to describe any jewellery from Pearls produced by clams. They are of course, considered very fine and expensive because of the way they're harvested. This term/word was used way before any drum company existed. Mother of Pearl was the actual term used for that type of finish, and i don't mean on drum finishes. It's like the Strata finish. It's a word used to describe layers of the earth and the natural "design"/ shape they create. If there was a drum company called "Strata", it would be the same thing.
