Smeg Kettle descaling video

Before descaling your Kettle, please be aware of the following:
During the descaling process, some vapors can come out of the kettle, please open a window to allow air to circulate.
Don’t breathe the fumes coming from the kettle while it’s being descaled
If the kettle has a lot of limescale, the water might boil out during the descaling process, please put a cloth under the kettle to absorb any excess water
In hard water areas, it’s recommended to descale the kettle every 2-3 months.
We recommend using liquid descalers, such as the SMEG branded one or alternatively OUST all purpose descaler

Descaling instructions:
1.Fill your kettle with 1Litre of Water
2.Turn on the kettle and leave the water to boil until it stops
3.Insert the descaling liquid gently inside the kettle
4.Once the descaling solution is inside, close the Lid and leave it for 30minutes
5.Re-boil the water with the descaling liquid inside (repeat process if needed)
6.Pour out the water with the descaling solution onto the kitchen sink
7.Rinse the kettle with fresh water at least 3 times to remove any descaling solution.
