@@beebee2731 I actually am in away! Not so much that life style though, But I was laid off of a job I had for 33 1/2 years and moved my mother with dementia in with me. I ended up catching and giving her covid hers presented with stroke like symptoms.After her being the hospital for 2 weeks, they put her on hospice care and talking feeding tube she was not eating. I slowly with milk shakes got her to eat. I would massage her jaws and throat. Now she eats! They removed her from hospice this past February Bed ridden I still take care of her, adult diapers everything. I would regret not doing it. As I use to work a a Hospital I saw first hand elderly abuse looks like. so F-No to those facilities! If you can swing being at home do it! Since I was in junior high I always worked Golf Caddy, Paper route the last few years of work we were bought out by another hospital.writing was on the wall They want older employees gone adding more work to you bouncing you around different hours. After they can't shake you off the tree they buy you out. It's great you are your own boss, Off the grid, not Micro managed, No stupid zoom meetings. after a while you start learning that you mean nothing to your employer just a number! I never finished college no huge loans , saved a lot of $, never got married. Heck If I was younger and to get married and wife earned enough I would stay home with the kids. I did know of two other guys that tried that the women's motherly instinct kicks in the feel that they are missing out on babies first steps, words, ect. so they quit get into fights. There is nothing wrong with taking care of babies, parents.
