There is aboslutely ZERO chance that etho finds a single piece of that redstone LOL
Thank you for all your hard work! Here's a really difficult hide-and-seek where, at best, you'll find six stacks of redstone!
Exactly lol
The gift that keeps on giving. I like to think he'll find it all over the course of the season.
I wonder how many will be left for the world download
It'll be part of the Season 10 world download 😭🤣
the stack of Ur mum redstone in the hoe barrel is hilarious
Ong I went straight to the comments
4:30
same lol
1. Accidentally finds a hiding spot in Etho´s base that is so good that he loses a book in his base.
2. Don't use it to hide redstone in it.
Probably was too good of a hiding spot
Tango: this will be the most inefficient, absolutely pathetic slime farm ever
Mumbos "farm" from last season: hold my beer
Tango's farm is the most inefficient slime farm that actually gets slime
Both are important, Tangos helps showcase that you don't have to build the ultra mega farms producing a shulkerbox of stuff a minute. (Hyperbole)
And Mumbo's accidentally revolutionized slime farms because the technically community decided to run with the concept to fix it. (The primary change was controlling the light level inside the farm by putting a roof on it and then using brown mushrooms as a light level 1 light source, glow lichen and redstone torches are cheaper alternatives but the farm will be slower)
Hey, Mumbo's slime farm revolutionized slime farming as we know it!
Mumbo indirectly revolutionised slime farm designs
Ran to the comment section to say this lmao
7:13 No, Mumbo holds and will forever hold that title since that he made the slime farm that had zombie flesh and ender pearls, but no slime
The funniest thing about that farm was that it accidentally revolutionized slime farms, despite not collecting a single ball of slime outside of its initial testing.
@@rebeccab719how did he do it ?
@@Conquerthemall he angered the redstone community so much that they went out of their way to find a way to make the damned thing work LOL
doc build the new version of it for him last season when he had to move the slime farm for the perimiter.
and its the slime farm mumbo built at the begining of this season. I think he talks about the way it came about in that episode.
@@Conquerthemall Pretty sure all that needed to be done for Mumbo's farm was to put tinted glass around it and put glowing lychen everywhere on the floor, and then it started working very well.
what’s the season and episode?
rather then a sponge shop i would make a sponge lending service. people only need sponges for a short amount of time and then they just lay around in chests and they are pretty rare.
I think that's what he has planned when he originally got the permit
@@wernt0 then it would've been better to capitalize on it early when people were building their guardian farms.
@@simpson6700 XB has been renting them from Tango for a while.
This is what he's been doing with them already.

Yep and IRL when you have to remove water from flooding you need to rent professional equipment so. It's a realistic model.
“We’re gonna be choking on slime balls” has got to be a horn.
4:33 I Cannot believe you've put redstone blocks renamed "Ur Mom" in the HOES CHEST, that was SAVAGE Tango!
Seriously! That got a good chuckle out of me
In case you didn't know, it's a reference to a joke Etho made in some of his older vids.
Ah, the oldest joke in the book.

Gosh I hope that was real lol I figured he just put a sound effect in editing 😂
Near that spot in front of the old house, maybe build Pearl a copper golem statue? Or...maybe on the beach, somewhere she sees it regularly. She has a soft spot for copper golems.

It seems like Cub forgot to refill the fireworks dispensers for the minigame, which is why you didnt die
I didn't even hear them go off though, I wonder if Cub had just disconnected them for maintenance reasons and forgot to reconnect them.
I assumed the wall of lava was going to be released when the door shut to kill anyone still trapped. Maybe with a layer of hoppers under the floor to collect at least some of the merchandise before it gets burnt.
Tango, staring at a wall of lava: "How do I die?"
Time stamp?
15:43 is when the door closes, 16:17 he gives up on dying and just punches his way out. Technically he's never saying it as he's looking directly at the lava, but he says "I'd like to die now" and turns around to look at the lava and still doesn't see it...
@@Dalenthas haha that’s so funny!
Missed opportunity to hide redstone in the decorated pots! XD
Edit: You could add some soul sand inside the boiler to make the water bubble! I feel like it would give the build some much needed animation!
🤔 Would bubbles show through the waterlogged copper grates? I wouldn’t think so, but idk 🤷♀️
or use lava block since i could also do the same and look like the bottom of the boiler is hot
Tango, as a former coal fired power plant operator... that is a VERY good Minecraft depiction of a coal boiler.
Does he now need a control room for said power plant?
@@edtuckerartist nah, those gauges on the front should do it for a simple low pressure drum boiler. Little imagination and there could be some internal Redstone making sure things stay in line. Only thing I'd suggest is a way to clean out clinkers.
shouldn't the steam output pipe from the boiler be horizontal or maybe even ascending a bit, or am I just imagining that to be a thing for steam?
Otherwise it'd be halfway towards distillation, right?
#unsure
@@SlugLamer steam doesnt care what direction it goes. It just wants to get from high pressure(inside boiler) to lower pressure. In distilation your end goal is to make pure water(or some sort of spirit) so you want rapid cooling. With a steam boiler used to drive steam engines we want that steam to stay steam as long as possible. The most direct route to the engine or turbine is the best.
15 years of boilers operations ... is it possible to see the soul sand bubble effect through the copper? What about a motor on the stand pipe suction from river? Other than that, it looks like a nice package boiler for your steampunk house, good job.
I feel like a Scar-built nether hub would be GLORIOUS
He built one in Season 5 or 6 I believe and it was indeed glorious

21:50 in a weird, kinda abstract way, I think the Z-fighting works for this build! If you’re not thinking about it as a rendering glitch it almost looks like the water inside is just intensely boiling
oooh, yeah!
yeah but remove the water from the "pipe"
Yeah, or like a mirage due to the heat of the copper.
Tango: "I'm gonna make the most inefficient slime farm"
Mumbo: :Enters Chat:
Joe Hills would be proud of that gift to Etho.
Tango, cob webs surrounded by copper trap doors would look like steam instead of water logged copper grates. Just a thought, love the boiler looks awesome!
Your intro music is simply iconic! Despite being a recent viewer, it already feels like a classic in my mind!
Two videos in a row (scars and tango) where people have accidentally ended up in the mail room 😂
18:35 - Tango "pontificating" whether Pearl is cliffifying or clifficating his base. Love it! LOL
You mean "pontififying" 😏
Thinkificating would be the term
@@tipeon Potato-Potahto; Tango-Pearl; Tomato-Tomahto ;)
Tango should have left his book in the flowerpot as an Easter egg lol
Or some of that Redstone!
He should place a book in there that says something like "If your reading this book you've just set off a TNT trap. 5. 4. 3. . . "
Except that was the book he needed to give to Etho
7:13 don't forget mumbo holds that title.
that's harsh but true
The boiler is right now not providing power, as it needs a turbine to do that. What it is doing though is purifying the water, and delivering it into the house. It works like this: Steam goes up, condenses at the top and the drops down as water, into the pipe that goes into the house, leaving impurities (and salt if we pretend that the lake is saltwater) behind. With a turbine added, it would be a really cool multi purpose boiler.
I love the idea of using Zoglins for the Slime farm, I think I might do that next time our server resets. Don't forget that Hoglins are afraid of Nether Portals, so that might explain some of the trouble you were having.
I like Scars idea for a cannon at your house pointed at pearls house. . . BUT, what if, instead of a cannon for destruction. . . it's a player launcher. Launch yourself out of a cannon to get to pearls house quicker, and you can also do that at pearls place. . . this way she can work on building your house faster.
the noise tango made at that bat 😂 priceless
The theming of Tango's builds this season are a subtle nod to his unquenchable desire to have the Create Mod in vanilla.
9:15 eyy, the main channel, tangotek2 is mentioned! nice!
8:37 the “GEAH” and the ghast sound were so similar in pitch. I am so glad you left both of them in.
I like how when you called out "we added complicated crafters" the crafter itself looked like it was trying REALLY hard on his little "face"!
Should have hidden some of the redstone in the thieving flower pot
Other people afk shouldn't affect your rates, since each player now has their own mob cap. The exception to this is if someone has managed to spawn way more mobs than their personal mob cap, enough to fill the global mob cap. But that would really only happen with a copper farm.
I think it affects server performance which affects rates.
Mob cap is not the only factor.
(I think)
@@N0u7adawimost times the server is still gonna run at 20TPS on hermitcraft it'll rarely be a big problem
For the pipe taking water from the lake, you can make it deeper than the water surface, and remove a layer of water in a circle around it like water is being sucked up into the pipe, I think that would look very cool
That thieving flower pot! 😂
A really cool way to make the pipe feel allive is to use pistons to create a kind of wave effect that will push outwards on the pipe and make it look like water is flowing through it, like in cartoons.
On the lower section you could do a drilling machine to gather the coal.
Also the most classical steam engine is the stirling engine. Basically it moves a piston with the steam then transfer the linear mtion into a wheel for rotary motion. The wheel is often a fly wheel wich is used to stored energy from rotary motion through kynetic energy.
You're thinking of a Newcomen Engine. Stirling engines are low powered latent heat engines running from adiabatic cooling of expanding air.
@@tomj819 I was thinking about the stirling machine but I did not knew about the Newcomen engine. You learned me something, thanks.
you just described every steam engine ever (except for the aeolipile)

I cannot wait for Etho’s episode in ten years. This gift is going to drive him batty
LMFAO. Bro that door opening and going into the jar could be used to design a magic trick in Minecraft. lol. I task someone with making a magic show in Minecraft using different mechanics and sleight of hand to create the illusions. No editing. No glitches.
I cannot express how excited I am to watch Etho look for that redstone.
I love those watches where you see all the gears moving inside or a vacuum cleaner where you see everything. It would be fun to leave one side of the factory clear glass so you can see all the working parts.
Poor Cub stepped away for one second and Tango got stuck in his game. Love the redstone hiding with Etho and the piggie names. Lols
Tango: looses his book in a pot
Also Tango when trying to hide redstone: does not use the pot.
i love the duel between the big builders scar, pearl and tango on who has to build the nether hub
hoping for Tango and Pearl to team up in the next life series tbh, would be a great combination after all the Season 10 stuff
Absolutely love the boiler but if the pipe connecting it to the house is supposed to be carrying steam it’d look better and be more instantly recognisable as a boiler not being waterlogged in my opinion!
No fireworks to kill you. You were just supposed to starve to death. LUL
Shady- EE's Redstone Delivery Service?
😂😂😂
Love the lil steampunk boiler structure outside of Tango's starter home. Pearl sounded excited to hear that Tango will be doing more buildings closer to where their bases meet. She really likes seeing her neighbors. ^_^
21:40 I wonder if it would help disguise the z fighting if Tango adds copper trapdoors on the outside of the grates. It wouldn't be ideal because it would obscure even more of the water, but it might be worth it to make the z fighting less apparent.
You have a boiler for steam, now you just need a storage for punk.
Also try replacing pressure gage with bdubs patented recovery compass.
No Tango....thank YOU for being amazing and wonderful. I am always learning something, and always have a smile on my face with all the noises and vocab. Thank you Tango for being here to cheer us up.
Now to flee with extra flee before I get TOO sappy
Oooh zoglin powered slime farm!!! It's so cool you are finding ways to kill mobs creatively other than iron golems, you're so good at it:D
I live this season. When Tango was chatting with Pearl and you see Beans Japanese city, Impulses cyber punk, tangos started and pearls base on in the shot it seems like a small world all throw together
For the small steampunk build on the cliff edge, you should make the "Visitron 3007 Mk2" A slime launcher that will drop a player or an item/s on Pearl's upper balcony. Fun, functional and perhaps good for a few shenanigans.
I like how you're doing your best to mimic the Create mod aesthetic in vanilla!
Good work on the boiler! If I were to make a recommendation, I'd say to remove the water from the steam pipe - your steam engine isn't working so well if the steam pipe is filled with liquid water. In fact, at least on locomotives, it's called the dry pipe.
You may consider adding a pressure gauge to the pipes as well, possibly with an emergency release valve. That should help to break up the straight stretches where nothing else happens and adds a splash of realism.
Tango, you should sync the "pressure indicator" compass on the boiler to a lodestone in the nether. That way, it will spin in the overworld.
The boiler is a great addition, love the idea of the water being pumped from the river to tie it into the landscape!
Tango: Great job on all that work done on the mailboxes Etho! As a reward, let me make you do even more work trying to figure out where I left your gifts.
Etho 9 months later: So I just found another random barrel of redstone. Every time I think I've found it all, another one just seems to pop up out of nowhere. If only I had all this back when I was making my Frogger game or all those early game farms...
Cub fixed his mini game in his fireworks shop, if you want to try it again. Thanks for the entertaining episode!
Good thing etho has a smaller base but on the other hand the highly detailed design is gonna make that soooo hard it’ll be great😂
Hey tango for the coal pile I would add blocks of coal, as well as black carpets or Blackstone slabs. As well as some on the ground around it as if it fell off.
For the pipe bringing water up I would change it so that where it is entering the side of the cliff it is cobblestone as well as mossy cobblestone, as if there is a leak and it is dripping. In general add moss below the pipe in places to show it is not 100% water tight.
For the Boiler maybe add lava of magma blocks so that there is that feeling of heat as you are creating steam. Maybe get Scar to help you with some custom glass steam.
In general it looks amazing but I know you said earlier in the season that you were hoping to bring more story into your builds.
I think a good build for the spot Pearl mentioned is a viewing platform for sight seeing pearls base. With the steam punk style and some spyglasses, it could be a cool feature and complimentary to Pearl.
Tango, for your boiler, if you put soulsand below the water, it will create bubbles as if your boiler was really working.
25:20 i think one cool modification would be changing the pipes to copper trapdoors surrounding light gray tainted glass. makes more sense when we put the fact that is steam coming off the steam-ficator and not water lol
23:55 Some people really are more inclined to infrastructure than others lol which makes sense that Tango’s done it twice
Also Pearl was/is the cleaning lady and is the Postmaster she loves this kind of stuff. It kinda feels like she has a lot going on with those things though! Im not saying she should make the netherhub but it is definitely within her Lane, so to speak
The boilers having flames in them would be cool - the smoke coming out suggests they are on (the ovens) so the flames would add an extra layer off animation.
For anyone who listens to the radio, I think tango might be the writer for the “wait wait don’t tell me” limericks
I said this one Pearls video too, You should build a building between you two that converts solar energy into steampunk (cog/rotational) energy. Like a little substation, with wires from Perals place to the substation, into cogs and pipes and piston for your area!
If you right-click a lodstone with a compass, then break the lodstone the compass will freak out and point randomly, might add more dynamics to the boiler
An idea for the bends in the "steam pipes" and maybe the "split way connections" you could hide waterlogged stairs or slabs with trapdoors. The water logged parts at the bends and connections would then have drippy water particles as if the pipes are old and ever so slightly leaking and/or sweating from the temp difference of outside.
Perhaps you should make a rental system for the wet sponge as it isn't really renewable and most folks don't need it that often. So instead of buying a stack of sponges, people rent them for specific projects and then return them for use by others afterwards.
Thor the “bridge” that the chest minecart goes through, you could make some kingdoms of jump and it could even like go into the roof after the jump and drop down to the rail or something. If you want to go super crazy and not so efficient, you could also make omit go all around the production hall while jumping, that would look pretty cool.
I'm lowkey jealous of a redstonner that's casually a great builder.
Series 10 theme:
"What if Create, without Create?"
Tango have a look at this first hydro electric power house ever …
Cragside is a Victorian Tudor Revival country house near the town of Rothbury in Northumberland, England. It was the home of William Armstrong, 1st Baron Armstrong, founder of the Armstrong Whitworth armaments firm. An industrial magnate, scientist, philanthropist and inventor of the hydraulic crane and the Armstrong gun, Armstrong also displayed his inventiveness in the domestic sphere, making Cragside the first house in the world to be lit using hydroelectric power. The estate was technologically advanced; the architect of the house, Richard Norman Shaw, wrote that it was equipped with "wonderful hydraulic machines that do all sorts of things".[2] In the grounds, Armstrong built dams and lakes to power a sawmill, a water-powered laundry, early versions of a dishwasher and a dumb waiter, a hydraulic lift and a hydroelectric rotisserie. In 1887, Armstrong was raised to the peerage, the first engineer or scientist to be ennobled, and became Baron Armstrong of Cragside.
I'm really surprised Tango didn't hide any INSIDE the Pots that he JUST discovered you can put stuff in xD
These are looking so awesome Tango!
Couple ideas:
For the factory or cave-farm interiors: maybe some arches/supports made out of copper gears (or quarter gears)
Outside the factory: Maybe a landing pad with a dirigible, to the side :D
If the boiler is full of water, it would be cool to randomly dispense a tnt inside as like a “(tango’s) boiler cough” just to add a bit more life
Also adds a small chance of jumpscaring pearl
7:11 I think Mumbo will always have you beat on that front
Light gray glass blocks and pains would be a cool team detail
Tango I love your builds and how kindly you interact with other hermits! Hey, I'm a process engineer and I think maybe you could make the vapor exhaust pipe look more "realistic" using white glass/white concrete powder/diorite inside a trapdoor pipeline since water vapor looks more white than blue. And maybe adding some type of pump on the pipe on the shore to show which way the water flows because it looks like you're dumping water off your boiler currently. Other than, amazing work!!! 💞
tango you should make the pipe that goes into the lake a 2x2 instead of a 1x1 pipe. You have a big factory and it will intake a lot of power, steam, water etc... maybe even a small detail you could slowly drain the lake over time throughout the season, just to troll the hermits a bit haha ;))
I thought the pipe needed to be bigger as well. 😊
13:08 "We're gonna be chokin' on slime balls"
Hahahahh this even beats Scar Tango! Hopefully no one makes it into a horn :D
Maybe in the steam pipe put gray glasses and cobwebs with trap doors around them instead of water. Otherwise, it all looks really good!
If you feel bad about not building enough of the mail system, just remember that Doc's mailbox hasn't been set up yet...
Scar wearing his own head, power of observation 100%.
I was waiting for Tango to mention it
If you feel bad about not helping with the post you should build Doc's mailbox
I will never get over Tango saying Dunga Dunga to describe mob movements!!
I think Scar's suggestion of a cannon is really fun, but it shouldn't be an offense cannon towards someone else-- that would be a great spot for some sort of Elytra launcher/booster system!
7:14 mumbo’s farm begs you to differ
Hey tango, steam engines usually work by burning coal to produce extremely hot gasses which can be passed through tubes to heat an extremely large volume of water.
(this is because the tubes have incredibly large surface area which means they can boil a lot of water very quickly) The gasses are drawn through the tubes via a draft which may come from a funnel which draws air through the tubes.
Its a little more complex than this but these are the basics.
Absolutely love the gift for etho .. so graciously given too 🤣 he's done so much work he needs rewarding with more work 😂 that is what friends are for
Scar is such a mood..😂 "i like making decisions for others but not myself"
If the pipes are see through, you can use dispensers and water buckets and using an observer chain or an alternative maker it look like the water is traveling through it. Just a cool idea to make the house look alive
