It always gets me how people say Kel 'moved on too fast' or even didn't care about Mari's death. In reality, I'm sure Kel was just as affected as everyone else. I disagree with kel moving on from mari’s death somewhat fast. What some people might do with bad events is to just distance yourself from it all. It’s a way to ignore the problem as you essentially turn your back to it. That is why instead of clinging to his old friends he went on and made new ones, and why it seems like he moved on fast
I get your point but not everyone deals with trauma the same way, I don’t actually think Kel moved on, I think he just distracted himself from sadness. I do understand his behavior since that’s what I do, whenever I feel sad I look for something positive to distract myself, for example hanging out with my friends, watching videos listening to happy and energetic music… etc. I don’t know if that way to deal with trauma is healthy but it surely shows how strong Kel is. While for Sunny, Kel is not his best friend, for Kel, i truly think he considers Sunny his best Friend (Not suggesting more than a Friend but wink wink notch notch), and he will do anything for him. Also, did you notice that Sunny is the only one that Kel truly opens up and in the Neutral Ending, he is the one who Kel goes to ask for help to understand why...that happened? Also, did you notice that Kel in Headspace is kind of a jerk? I think this is because Sunny is self-conscious that Kel is the only one who can truly help him, and that's why he made him a big jerk, in order to not go out.
Exactly. He'd 100% be the first to forgive [ thats also even if the others do. ] It may take time, considering maris 'suicide.' wasn't true. Which resulted in loosing his brother for months at a time and the big arugument.
the way Kel recovers from Mari's death is really special to me, because I relate alot. Kel avoided the problem by ignoring it. He moved away, made new friends, went into sports. He did everything but did not work through the injury, continuing to smile. This undoubtedly crippled him. He tries to smile and stay positive so that his friends won't be sad, and so he seems to have recovered quickly from Marie's death. But in reality, he simply sealed away the negative emotions and he didn’t allow himself to live through the trauma properly. Because of his smile and positivity, he is not taken seriously and this hurts him. Kel is wounded just like the others, but he doesn't let it out with aggression like Aubrey, or lies depressed like Hiro. He simply forbade himself to be negative and it looks painful. This can develop into smiling depression if he does not start being honest with himself and his feelings. Kel is the best boy fr

ALSO kel's bday (november 11) was only a few months away after mari died, so the funeral was prob held a month or two after her death and nobody came to or prob even acknowledged his bday :(
I feel like the reason why Kel is so immature and reckless in Headspace is partially because as a kid, he just *was* immature and reckless, but also because Sunny didn’t really have the strongest friendship with him. Sunny adored Mari (also she was his sister), had a crush on Aubrey, looked up to Hero like a big brother (evidence: saying “wow” about certain things Hero does), was best friends with Basil, but wasn’t really remarkably close with Kel in the real world until 3 days left, which might be why he’s kind of a nuisance in Headspace, even though that might not actually be what he was like in real life.
I could see where you’re coming from, though I don’t think they weren’t necessarily close. I forget when it was said but at one point, Kel talks about how when they were kids, he and Sunny used to sneak out of their homes at night to go to hobbeez, and how they’d always get questioned by their older siblings as to why they both looked so tired. Additionally we learn that they’d often play video games together, Sunny being the better out of the two. In some real world and headspace photos, we also see a few pictures where they’re hugging or spending time together. Their friendship is a little more overshadowed by his connections with other characters like Basil, Mari and Aubrey, but they were close nonetheless. If they weren’t, Kel likely wouldn’t have reached out the way he did. The reason why he’s so reckless and immature in headspace is because they’re all based on how they were as kids. And Kel as a kid was, well, exactly that. Reckless and immature. However in headspace, Kel is still shown to care a lot about Omori - though it’s not the most reciprocated due to the fact that Omori is intentionally portrayed as being very unempathetic.
That can't be right though. Aside from Mari and Hero, Kel was one of Sunny's first friends. They played pet rock together, snuck out to hobeez, and were even known to talk at school (as seen in one of Sunny's memories in the lost library). I would actually argue he and Kel were _quite_ close as kids (if nothing else, the information we have clearly shows that he spent more casual time with Kel than Hero, and Kel himself didn't argue with Sunny the same way he had with Aubrey).
@@sailoriie8799 its hinted at in one of the memories, when Basil comments that Sunny always wants to be first to see the pictures he takes of Aubrey, and Basil asks if he has a crush on her. " the four year gap between their last *hanging* "
pain
20:47 When you fight Aubrey and her gang, you can beat them by using a pepper spray. You can get it by stealing the pepper spray from Kel's moms purse on the dining table before you leave his house.
cuz everytime i wake up i got burgers on my mind, ketchup, mustard, lettuce, and burger number 9
9:40 Kel Is Relieved Sunny had his Knife,But he then realizes,ʜᴇ ʜᴀꜱ ᴀ ᴋɴɪꜰᴇ
You are SUPER underrated
This is an amazing character analysis, and I’m generally surprised this isn’t more popular in the Omori community
Happy belated, Kel! You are the best boy!
For the fight with the hooligans you have to get the pepper spray from kel’s mom’s purse
11:28 “despite the 4 year gap between their last HANGING”😭😭
So basically Kel is the reason why their all together now😦
When will I meet the person like Kel😔😭🙏
OMG the intro was amazing legit bro ur editing quality has gone through the roof keep it up man
Thanks I'm trying my best to improve it even more!
OKAY BUT CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE FACT THAT KELS KNOCKING SOUNDS LIKE A KIDNAPPER IS HONNA BREAK IN
18:00 killed me 💀
18:05 "dude your knocking woke me up"
"damn, Sunny, it's 2PM. what the hell-up?"
Kinda late. But you can steal a pepper spray from Kel's mom's purse that is in the dining room. You can use that to one hit the hooligans
...my GOD I just figured out KEL. He simply has ADHD.
i have thought that ever since i figure out what omori is
WHAT A SCARE, I thought he had AD4K!
I see Kel - i click
11:23 “between their last hanging”
ok but why my man Kel always first attacked for no reason
I don’t even know what to say. Kel is just the best no explanation needed
Can’t wait to watch a video where it feels I’m being psychoanalyzed 😭♥️🤩
Seriously tho love this video
“Shining in the -cold- dark”
…
Kellnukegrave
I love him so much, he makes the game easier to digest
The best thing about this video has been the editing, genuinely the funniest omori analysis I’ve seen
this captures all my favorite parts of kel!! really good video:D
"You can fly son???" 💀💀
this is why I relate to kel so much FATTEST KEL KINNIE EVER YALL 😻😻😻‼️‼️‼️‼️
I have so much hair envy with kel
It’s so long and perfect
Why can’t I have long hair like that!
I just wanna be able to tie it up
I really liked this video, it's got some good points in it and I like the humor.
However, I feel like a lot of the parts that were just summarizing the plot could have been left out in favor of focusing on kels character more. At times it felt more like a general commentary.
Still though, really into the vibes of this
kel just revived everyone but he wasn't even helped if he's sad 😢
This is why kel cult exist
Cause kel is best boi
Nobody could have done what he did, NOBODY!!!!
9:41 - 9:49
What i imagine kel said i those few seconds
Kel: Thank god you have a knife! Wait. You have a knife. KNIVES ARE DANGEROUS GIMME THAT!
Sunny: :(
Kel was my favorite befor this video but it just made my favor of him make more sense
The use of alter at the beginning randomly made me cry and feel dread. This game has traumatized me
ive watched this video several times now
1.) because Kel is one of my favorite characters
and 2.) youre analysis of Kel is just so great, and i love your energy about it all
there should be a third reason *cuz he's canon*
11:26 “4 year gap between their last hanging” 💀💀💀💀
El video ni empezó, y ya le di like.
Omori en Español?
@@JJC_Games si ,hablando español
Basil at 15:49 looks cursed, this is why you don't flip images
Just realised aubrey not accepting apology in church is reference to headspace aubrey not accepting aplogy for destroying flower crown
Dude i have like the biggest crush with him
Little hint. In order to defeat the Aubrey's Gang you need to find a pepper spray in Kel's mom handbag.
i love your videos!!
Thank you!
20:44 fun fact: you can -steal- borrow kels mom pepper sprey and use it on them
Who else heard the “help me” 17:09
To be like him is all I aspire to in this life
I love kel because he is one of the most positive and forgiveable character (bad english)
THIS IS WHY WE LOVE KELL!!!
Ah I’m excited for this! I’ve been waiting for it for a while! Just saw it pop up in my recommended and I’m excited to watch it!
Kel is my favorite he’s so like overlooked and I love him 😭😭😭💗💗💗💗 he deserves happiness and to be acknowledged
Yeah it took me a while but I finally did it!
I agree this boy deserves everything and more!!!
omg for some reason when i saw the text at the beginning i instinctually pressed z
I love you Kel, my fav character besides Omori.
Ah yes, the Makoto Naegi of OMORI.
Really good video, your speak remind what I acquired from this game.
Great video!! ⭐️🏀🏀
Thank you!
fun fact: you can win the fight against all six hooligans, just use pepper spray
11:28 “it has been 4 years before their last hanging”
Yes it has, sunny and basil.
this video makes me have burgers on my mind.
I thought Mari fell down the stairs and they framed it as a self death
She did
She did it’s just trying to convey what happened in Kel’s prespective
9:40
HE HAS A KNIFE
20:44 In this fight, you win by using pepper spray. It’s that easy.
I think kel is my favorite character becuz i can like understand him :))
11:24 between their last WHAT
Not Kels description matching up with my personality almost picture perfectly
at 20:51 just use the pepper spray in kels house
kel and baller are the same person, let me explain
1.kel and baller are memes
2.kel and hs! kel (normally) use a ball as weapon, baller weapon is also a ball
3.baller has high speed, medium attack, and low health. just like kel.
4.i forgor💀
Underrated comment
@@fumusbullarum1405 ikr
u forgor ☠️
They’re both goated
I still want to play all of the endings by myself, but I'll definitely be watching this video when I finish! Looks great man!
Kel just was trying to be the Hero his brother and his friends most needed
The ironic part is he's not even the one named Sunny lmao.
Kel unironically in the most depressing way is a ball of depressing darkness, wrapped and covered in several layers of beaming light, surrounded by more darkness.
11:29 killed me lmao
Is anyone not gonna talk about kel not eating anything but the table
