The eighth installment of The College Collective: Season 4. I performed with my FSA's culture and modern teams at Asianfest and for the first time in the club's history at Isang Mahal. Been without power these past few days but I couldn’t resist coming back to this vid every so often to relive these memories. These are some of the happiest and most exciting moments of my time in Waco and I didn’t even realize we had a documentary crew recording everything😂.
The birth of that huddle and our post-performance moments at Isang were core memories fs.

10:07 - Also I still stand by the fact that it wasn’t and it was never just me! You see it in these vlogs as well that for everything I contributed, Doreen, Asia, Caleb + the team as a whole matched that energy and gave everything they had.
Y’all believed in this just as much as I did and were the ones that made this happen. Doreen and Asia were there holding it down during the struggle pandemic year and came back to build the team up and make sure that everyone coming in were being welcomed into a family.
Caleb came back to give us his vet presence and his optimism swayed the vote and made us believe that we DID belong at Isang and that we genuinely had something special on our hands.
This was a special team that was small, rebuilding after pandemic years, and punching above our weight at Isang. We put together an amazing show but more importantly, we created some special memories and formed a bond throughout that season that we could share with the audience and our community.

Lastly, I wanna shout out our community! FSA helped me so much during my college days and that’s because of the PEOPLE that put their time and effort into creating this space for one another.
Thank you to the Ates, Kuyas, alumni, and fam members who went out of their way to support us in Waco and A&M.
Thank you to the bros Abhi and Kai for letting us crash at y’all’s place when our AirBNB flooded.
And thank you to the Fall 21 BUFSA Modern Team: Ashley, Diamond, Re’elle, Asia, Caleb, Hu, KC, Ethan, Ellie, Doreen, Megan, Jessa, Sai, Jenny (in order of our last formation in the closer lol).
All I ever wanted to accomplish thru the Modern team was to do right by the people in it and represent our community with pride. Thank you all for being a part of that and coming together to make it happen. I’ll never take for granted how lucky I am to have come across people like you.
