Dan Reynolds always writes his own lyrics. I’m guessing he had this song already written in a pile of songs, and it just fit this perfectly. .😁

The instrumental stuff is played throughout the game, if you look up the main starfield theme by Inon Zur, you will hear what I'm talking about.
I don't know about the lyrics, but I've heard Inon Zur had some input on the music.

Thanks for letting me know! I've not played video games for a while now so haven't experienced Starfield...yet 👀
Just listened to "Into The Starfield" by Inon Zur - very nicely orchestrated music which no doubt enhances the experience
