“Get Jinxed” is what she’s listening to at the end of Episode 4 when Silco starts yelling at her for killing the enforcers and blowing up the building.

Jinx has been a fan favorite in League of Legends ever since they added her. This music video was actually to help hype up her initial release. They also teased her by having Jinx graffiti the entire Riot Games website.
There's something so telling about Powder/Jinx's final expression in the Enemy MV. Not of sadistic malice, not of sadness or heartbreak. Just exhausted and nearly emotionless. Like she's broken beyond explanation and gave up on everything.
"Get Jinxed" was one of the first videos by Studio Fortiche, who would eventually go on to create Arcane. As you can see their style has changed since then, though there are still signature Fortiche elements, such as the hand-drawn 2D smoke and VFX.
Hope you guys continue watching LOL cinematics, even the ones that have nothing to do with Arcane. The cinematics themselves are each a masterpiece in their own right.
One that might be good to check out later down the line is a music video "Giants - True Damage" as it features Ekko. Would definitely be more enjoyable if they knew at least a little about the other characters featured.
Try the last one girls, its difficult to pick up if u dont know the lore, but if u study a bit of it u will find its absolutly amazing, its called Im still here.
Get Jinxed and its success is basically the progenitor to everything that follows, including Arcane. It was the first time Riot did anything like this, as well as being the beginning of their collaboration with Fortiche. There are a few easter eggs in Arcane from this video, for example you might recall Milo talking about shooting down one of the airships, which is a reference to it happening in this video.
Fun fact, "Get Jinxed" was the first collab between Riot Games and french studio Fortiche, which was known in the industry for doing mostly music clips. Fortiche was yet again comissionned by Riot games for the "Warriors" music video to go with the Imagine Dragons' song made for the 2014 League World championship. After that, Fortiche was pretty much chosen as the de-facto studio for the animated series project. When the series project went into a bit of a script re-write in 2018, Fortinche found themselves in period of down time, and they had bandwidth to make two other video for Riot Games : the first one was the "Rise" video for the 2018 World Championship, and the second was the K/DA Pop Stars clip, both of which I consider to be the best music videos they have ever released. Before the "Get Jinxed" clip, Piltover and Zaun was close to have 0 lore and artwork. Fortiche pretty much just created the whole artstyle for both cities and Riot Games just went with it. It only makes sense for the first animated project to be placed here with this studio making the animation.
The Jinx we originally got in the game and Get Jinxed was definitely a bit of a shallow Harley Quinn clone - at least on the surface. We didn't know super much about her (although we mostly speculated she was definitely Vi's sister), so she came across as just a kind of alluring crazy woman. Arcane definitely toned down on the "sexy lunacy" and grounded the character far more in her mental illness rather than the "poppy craziness". I'm very happy with the Arcane design, and that they no longer play so much on the skimpy clothing and shallow craziness. What a great character, finally.
What's interesting to me is that Get Jinxed is a dream. When she wakes up at the end she's more somber. I kinda feel like this was where they wanted to take the character but the funnier sexier version worked better for as a game character.
not as first was the sister thing done. it was slowly introduced. if you read both back stories they didnt match up (yea i know most people didnt read those). i think it was around jinx's 3rd year when they started hinting at they were sisters. funny thing is thats when arcane was first thought up (2016). also remember arcane wasnt going to be cannon. they even have a interview with the writers of arcane after season 1 dropped and they said it was a different universe and it wont be the same as the main universe but as we know they have changed all that.
Get Jinxed was released when they released her character. In League, shes an adult, while Arcane is giving us her and Vi's origins. Arcane wasnt originally going to be canon to lore, but Riot backtracked and have now acknowledged tbat Arcane and League lore are synonymous. So its great for us fans of Jinx from the game because we had only gray area when it vame to her lore. All we knew is that she was always being chased by Cait and Vi, and has a crush on Ziggs, who she regularly kidnaps and forces to go on crime scenes with her, all because she thinks hes a figment of her imagination. Arcane has added so much more depth and emotion to her character.
Love your reaction to this video! Welcome to the Arcane/LOL rabbit hole but I have to say that I have watched many reactions and it is amazing to see the many reactions! You guys are on point! I love how you know the background (as much as you can know) and I look forward to see what you two have to say about everything else that you will experience! Love you ❤
Get Jinxed was made in 2015, before Arcane was even a distant possiblity, with the release of the character in League. It was the first time Riot had done something like this. And, yes, she was beloved by the league community from the get go :)
Get jinxed was posted on the league of legends' channel on October 8, 2013 (jinx was released on oct 10, 2013). so... it wasn't made in 2015, but it was put a music album in 2015 which gives the "released date of jan 27, 2015"
@cranberrysauce61 lol thanks for that tidbit, I was wondering where the '2015' was coming from. Can't believe Jinx has been in game for over a decade now
That was when I first saw the character. Loved the song. Loved the vibe. Never got into the game. But Arcane is amazing. So that says something about what Riot can do with expanding their demographic. Can't wait for the fighting game too. Looks sick.
Get Jinxed was Riot's first work with Fortiche if I recall correctly so a bit of polish they had for Arcane was not yet done. It's was also one of Riot's first big character specific promotional videos and it was VERY popular in the community. At the time, people didn't know, but speculated that Vi and Jinx were the sisters in their voice lines
Easter egg: 1:57 We see the firelight bug come out of Powder's mouth and then she changes to Jinx (for two frames - it's easy to miss) I think it's a "what could have been" if she had stayed friends with Ekko and become a Firelight herself - but that aspect left her.
crazy mention on "the get jinxed" video. It was said that she looks like that on league and Netflix arcane jinx looked different. It was so different they gave us players a skin for it during the season.
In arcane the creators tried to incorporate a little the facial features of the voice actors and their expressions - you should watch "bridging the rift: the making of arcane" after you have finished the series.... your admiration for everything will increase 10 fold!!!!
as so many have said "Get Jinxed" was the introduction video to the character of Jinx in the Game, only lore we have was that she was from Piltover and the villain to Caitlyn and Vi, there was speculation she was Vi's sister, but nothing confirmed until Arcane released, Jinx character is very much based on Harley Quinn, and everyone loved her. one of the guys behind the character also said "Jinx is not evil, she would not kill a random guy on the street corner, simply because of the killing, now if he was sitting on a crate of fireworks on the other hand.... "
You can also watch kda popstars (fortiche made this when arcane was about to get canceled before it was released). When you are done with arcane you can also watch the making of of arcane.
I can't wait to dive into all the League cinematics with these two - it's gunna be a fire lore dive! I wonder what they'll be the most hyped for - my money's on a particular season cinematic ;)
The first Fortiche video I ever watched was the "Rise" video they made in 2018 for LoL Worlds. It's so well done that even though I don't play LoL and know very little about it, I thought to myself "I wish they would make an animated series." Then, they released Arcane years later. :D They also released a K-Pop series of skins in the game and Fortiche released a video called Pop Stars that is another amazing visual treat. They can animate black light effects in the most stunning way. I hope to see a lot more of their work in the future.
7:30 "And see what Powpow thinks" for almost a decade no one knew what this meant, we always knew Jinx as Jinx and nothing more, we assumed that was her real name, her actual name Powder got revealed for the first time in arcane, same as Vi being her sister. There were hints of the later but never a confirmation until the show. Arcane and its story was something completely knew even for veterans league players who knew all the lore.
@@hmmthatsinterestinglol ohhhhh You know what? fair, I play league league in spanish, that's why that never rang a bell with me, now I see they translated "powpow" to "pium-pium" lol
What's worse is that "Jinx" is causing chaos, and she's saying "let's see what pow pow thinks"... in a way she's talking about her "former self", the "weak pow pow that wouldnt be able to think of such things let alone survive them"
So, the Enemy video is of Powder, when she is without her friends or family, in The Last Drop (with nobody behind the bar), remembering things that have happened in the past, which make her laugh or cry. Question. Do you think it's before or after the end of episode 3? Is she without her friends and family because they are all dead and it;'s now Silco's place?
7:20 This get jinxed music video is wayback from 2014, so maybe that's why she looks different even though fortiche did both designs. In my headcanon "Get Jinxed" Jinx's face looks different from Arcane's Jinx because she is older there, Arcane is still a prequel to present Jinx from the game.
A little bit of context about jinx's age In the first few episodes, powder is 10years old, but after the time skip, when we first see her as jinx, she is 16. But in league of legends itself, jinx is now 25 while Caitlyn and VI are in their early 30s. Concurrently, jayce is 24 at the beginning of arcane, 30 after the time skip and 39-40 in the game So even at the end of Arcane season 1, there is still 9 years separating us from the point in time where they were introduced to LoL.
whait,what... isnt supposed that renata glasc is 40 years old, jayce created the sun gates, renata was a child when the sungates where created, does this means that renata is younger than jaice
@@migatito1291 well if jayce made the gates and she was a child when that happened, she obviously would be younger than him by default. Jayce didnt make the gates as a preschooler
@@simplyskrypt3914 yea i know, what i mean is that if jayce is 24-30 when he created the sungates and renata was a child lets say between 12-16 when tha sungates where created, this means renata is at least like 20 years younger than jayce but she is 40 years old in the game and jayce is 40 years old too which is kind of inconsistent
@@migatito1291 if he is 24 and she is 12-16, that would make renata 28-32 in game. Which, i agree, is inconsistent if her in game age is supposed to be 40. For renata to be 40, jayce would have to be 48-52, and his in game model, while adult, is clearly not that old
I would recommend Worlds 2021 Ceremony, as it also features new scenes from Arcane, that is not in ANY other content. Don't worry 0 spoilers. Worlds 2021 Show Open Presented by Mastercard: Imagine Dragons, JID, Denzel Curry, Bea Miller, PVRIS Okay so to explain what you're about to see is, well. League of Legends is a competitive video game, and every year there is a opening ceremony before the final 2 teams are about the play and be crowned world champion. The ceremony includes songs which have come out throughout the year. 2021 unfortunately got hit by COVID and they had to make a digital one, instead of LIVE. 2021 was the year ARCANE came out, and therefore the ceremony was then ARCANE themed. Worlds Opening Ceremony 2024 is 19th November in London. And guess what it's around the same time as ARCANE S2. The 1st song revealed is STILL HERE. Another recommendation Still Here | Season 2024 Cinematic - League of Legends (ft. Forts, Tiffany Aris, and 2WEI)
"Get Jinxed" was the first collaboration between Riot and Fortiche Studio. This initial project was so well received that they continued working together on several other projects before the release of ARCANE. If you want to check out another music video from this collaboration, "K/DA - POP/STARS" is probably the most impactful.👌😁👍
Keep in mind the Get Jinxed music video was the first time Riot and Fortiche collaborated so they were already mixing 2-D and 3-D but the artstyle was more poppy and comic bookey back then whereas now they have their unique vision figured out more, so it has that more painterly vibe.
Get jinxed was released like 8 years before Arcane came out that is why it looks bit different. But yeah she looks more like the normal jinx skin in the game. Jinx after arcane got a new skin that looks like the arcane version in game.
I like how at the end of Get Jinxed she does her "finger gun shoot" move, while in Enemy when Powder does the same there's a very very brief flash of Jinx as she fires
if you notice in the video, still as old as it is, it depicts the attack on piltover, so in a way, it could be seen as an after credits scene for season 1's finale
I love how they experiment with different genres while still staying true to their sound. Btw Nick Thurl Mavromatis has done it again! His new song is a masterpiece. React to it now!
Btw, when we got Jinx in League of Legends, NONE of her real backstory was available. We spent years and years dissecting her voice lines and such, trying to figure her out. Eventually, it was kinda agreed by Jinx mains that her line, "You think I'm crazy? You should see my sister!" was referring to Vi. Arcane felt hella validating!
With regards to mental health and Jinx in particular - there are hints throughout the entire show that she is, in fact, a sociopath. In the very opening sequence on the bridge, she's peeking through her fingers at the carnage all around but seems relatively unaffected, unwavering in the song she was clearly instructed to sing. Even when they see their parents dead, she doesn't react at first, instead she looks up to see how Vi reacts and then attempts to mirror her - she simply doesn't feel emotions the same way normal people do and has to fake it. In that same scene you actually get your first glimpses of her hallucinations (the scratched up bits of film with faces or figures on them) in a blink-and-you'll miss it moment on the bridge. I'm not going to get into spoiler territory, but Powder has her first mental breakdown long before any of the major traumas actually befall her, simply because Vi left her alone in their room. Vi is her touchstone, her link to 'normalcy', her guidepost on how to pretend that she's normal and therefor have a chance at a normal life. Without Vi, she's lost... clearly.
Small children are incapable of fully understanding the concept of death. It would have been unrealistic to have her crying over her mother's body since she was too young to understand. Young kids do not understand death. She just didn't know what was happening.
@@mossofthemoon That's a fair perspective, but again, on the bridge, we are ALREADY seeing the white scratches in the film, which is clearly intended to represent the fractured nature of her mind.
Awesome! This is actually a very good moment in the series to watch these clips... for reasons... Please don't forget to watch the (way too short) teaser to season 2 they did for Arcane. :)
I would 100% recommend watching more of the cinematics and music videos from Riot Games. One of my personal favorites is Phoenix from Worlds 2019, but there's also the Awaken 2019 season cinematic, Legends Never Die from Worlds 2017, and Rise from 2018. However, the one that has just COMPLETELY blown everyone out of the water is this year's cinematic, Still Here. Look, I'm not trying to send you guys on a lore deep dive, I'm just trying to share some of the best League of Legends videos that I've come across. There's a reason that I've got a playlist called LoL Inspirational - because they are very emotionally powerful songs and videos.
Riot definitely knocked it out of the park with their transformation of the character of Jinx. In the game, she's essentially a cliche manic pixie dream girl similar to Harley Quinn, who a lot of people do love, but the way they built her into something truly tragic and more interesting than that cliche was masterful.
Y'all should do the other music videos for League of Legends, they're all so good. One of my favorites is "the curse of the sad mummy", it's very emotional and such a pretty video
i quiet like how we see powder training like her sister but she grew up a weapon expert instead realizing physical strength isn't the only type of power
Just something I find interesting If you put get jinx ending on the left side 8:57 then ENEMY on the right side 1:23. You get a little symbolic picture of jinx killing her past self.
If you guys were a fan of the Enemy music video, i definitely recommend looking up the other music videos Riot has produced. The KDA ones especially becayse they were also animated by the same studio as Arcane. In general i highly recommend looking up all their other stuff, it is quite a deep dive but well worth it - particularly if you like the universe of Arcane and are curious about the other regions within this world.
Ok, time for some context that is kinda lost after the fact: When Vi was released, she launched with her own song, which was a first for League. Champions before would have themes/music, but vi got her own lyric song which played during her opening (back in the day, the league launcher would have a pseudo animated launch screen with the song (I say psuedo animated because it was just 2-5 seconds looped). Anyway, Jinx was created to be vi's counter opposite. Vi is tall, fully clothed, melee, muscular, hourglass figured, short ping hair and blue eyes and serious, where Jinx is short, barely wearing any clothes, raged, waifish, 'flat' long blue hair and pink eyes, and crazy. Leading up to the launch, of Jinx there was a growing list of easter eggs. Jinx appeared in two opening splash screens, though in the first she was hidden and it was a year before during the summer splash screen. In the second splash screen, she was actually the perspective it was drawn from and we saw her waist down with her arm holding a glass of something, but they still hadn't released any info about her. A wanted poster, with the face scratched out appeared on the website (listing a multitude of crimes, many of which were clearly made up and it was made by 'X' which is what her 'name' was, and it was the citizens of piltover that called her Jinx, which she adopted. Likewise, Vi and Caitlyn's wiki pages were graffitied leading up to Jinx's release. They honestly did a great job of her reveal. Anyway, since Vi got a song, they went with a full blown music video for Jinx, the first they had ever done. Since they were teasing her for so long but not actually revealing her face, this is why not only does the video hide it for a while, but the animation actually slows when she turns around and shows her face because it was a majorly anticipated thing at the time. Other fun facts: Originally, Jinx was supposed to be older than Vi (despite appearances). Vi herself was an amnesiac that washed up on piltover. She got her name from the tattoo that was on her face. She was a criminal at first but during a crime, her crew trapped some miners in a mine, and vi didn't like that. She took the gauntlets off the mech and retrofitted them to be used as gloves, to free the miners. From there she joined Caitlyn as a deputy. Jinx appeared later with a crime spree, writing taunting graffiti for Vi (often using 'fat hands' which is jinx's main taunt for vi) and it basically gave the hint that Jinx knew vi, even if Vi didn't remember Jinx. There was also an implication that there was some sort of person experimenting on technologically gifted people. Vi, which is roman numeral 6, Ekko had the Roman Numeral for 7, Jinx (again, originally named X) was 10, warwick was 3, etc. This was eventually dropped though when they made signed warwicks 'creator' and was just easter eggs that went no where. There were also many hints that Jinx and Vi were sisters, but this wasn't confirmed until Arcane, and ALL of the lore above was retconned for Arcane. Also important fact: The jinx in get jinxed is CURRENT jinx. Arcane is set in the past. They're still teenagers in Arcane, even after the time jump, where as the league characters are in their 20s. So yeah, Jinx will eventually age up to that, etc.
With Jinx' designs you could say it is like the Joker (which she was inspired by). In League you see the final Version of her like in Batman you see the final Version of the Joker. Arcane is the story how she became who she is and like the Joker it's way more tragic induced than the League Version, the same as the movie "Joker". Same Character but different Timeperiods.
The "Jinx" in tthe Enemy video really doesn't seem as emotionally fraught as the one we see in Arcane. For the moments we see her, her expression seems calm, strong, and confident. I think this is who Powder *wanted* to grow up to be.
Did you notice in Enemy the brief shot of Powder on her rhino? While the Enemy video was made with wholly original work, it really fills in the character's backstories.
I highly recommend to watch the documentary of the making of arcane after you finish the season, it's on TH-cam and it's really insane how they made Arcane. It's called Arcane bridging the rift
idk if they will ever see the comment. but to add where you guys said she looks older; a developer from riot talked about how originally jinx was the older sister and they got seperated at a young age and vi doesn't remeber her and she goes around and does crimes and reeks havoc as a way to spend quality time with her sister, because vi in the game is an enforcer.
Of big recommendation if you want to learn just a bit about all the regions in Runeterra (the name of the world Arcane takes place). There are like 8 animated shorts named "Tales of Runeterra" that shows every region in the world, they are fun and are animated in the arcane art style. Some people who reacted to arcane then reacted to all of them.
you guys should check out the song "here comes Vi" as well. there's no music video for it, but the song is still great. Nikki Taylor (who sings "Here comes Vi") also did a mashup of "Here comes Vi" and "Get Jinxed" together with Lunity which is fantastic.
Riot Games: The epic music studio that has also released some games and a tv show. :) I saw Get Jinxed right before she was released for League, and I was convinced. I bough her the day she came out, and played pretty much only her for +5 years. Yeah, I sorta liked her. Ya'll should check out a Jinx game on TH-cam sometime, just to get an idea of how crazy she is in game.
I always forget that Jinx wasn't in the game from the beginning. "Get Jinxed" was a promotion made back in 2013 for when they added her to the game. And the joke is that Riot Games is actually a music-label that also happens to make games.
Love that in get jinx it’s her actor singing the song and vi called her pow pow which she called her gun while her rocket launcher is called fish bones because it’s a shark and sharks eat fish
Jinx apparently named her gun Pow Pow, and her rocket launcher Fishbones. It's fun that they changed the meaning of Pow Pow, by also making it the nickname that Vi calls her.
Jinx is popular in the game because she has two ultimate moves: "Pow-Pow" is her minigun, and "Fishbones" is her rocket launcher. That means when you're playing against a Jinx, you don't know which ultimate the player's going to pull.
That's not the case. She has only one ultimate move. She has two ways to auto attack with those weapons (the regular attack). But compared to other league characters she's quite straightforward. What makes her popular is her character, her presentation, the way she speaks. But she is just as played as almost every other champion.
If you're down for a recommendation of other LoL Music videos to watch, Id suggest: From the LoL music play list: Legends Never Die - Worlds 2017 Awaken - season 2019 cinematic warriors - season 2020 cinematic Your really Got me (ft. A lot of the stuff in the Enemy video ties in to add depth to future events in the shows. Stopping there to avoid spoilers. If you appreciate Arcane, you may also dig Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and Blue Eye Samurai.

It's something to ponder that for over 5 years people dindn't knew what Jinx real name was, the most we had was a line if Vi was an enemy in the rift calling her "pow pow". Which at first they where ex lovers, but then changed the line to be more of a sister bond. Lore wise Vi joins the Piltover Police to hunt down Jinx that is an agent of chaos more than a deranged/damage emotional creature. Arcane wasn't canon for a period of time, it's seem that they will make it canon by adding one of it's character to the rift, but it'll be in TFT. Jayce story was much more bare-boned, so much so that he was a "jerk" who bested Viktor and took all the credit. If you play the game most of the events are transparent in how they end, so i'd recomend checking their lore later. Arcane isn't that dramatic in scope to the larger universe, and in esscence function as a microcosmos of the world of runaterra, mutiple legends clashing with each other. They plan to introduce more characters from the LOL roster from season 2, likely to be Darius or Swain.
If you enjoyed these, Ekko, Caitlyn, and Vi all also have individual champion themes from before the show. A couple of them might have some light spoilers in the titles, though, so you may want to confer with your editor.
the jinx in the game and all the other characters are from the future that´s why this jinx looks older the arcane series is placed in the past when they become the playable characaters we know in lol

I read it differently... that this is who Powder wanted to grow up to be, someone confident and strong, not beset by demons like we see in the show.
We absolutely are ;) stay tuned for more!
One that might be good to check out later down the line is a music video "Giants - True Damage" as it features Ekko. Would definitely be more enjoyable if they knew at least a little about the other characters featured.
@@pikmints I love "Giants" great song. I think K/DA will be right up their alley too.

I love the glimpses of Ekko and Powders friendship in the MV, it’s so sad we barely see them interact in act 1
Ugh couldn’t agree more! Hopefully we get more scenes of them interacting in S2!
@@zerodawn09 yep i remember it. We spexulated this was it but story wise nothing was done to make it and nothing inted that was the case.
FYI the actress that voice Jinx is Lucy from Fallout.
Yeah, prob the jinx we see league of legends is same age Vi is currently on arcane.
2:51 yall missed a super cool part. If you look super closely at powder when the beat drops you see her switch to jinx as she shoots the enforcers :]
the transition of Powder becoming Jinx was the best part of the music video "Enemy"
🤩🤩🙏🏼
Easter egg:
1:57 We see the firelight bug come out of Powder's mouth and then she changes to Jinx (for two frames - it's easy to miss)
I think it's a "what could have been" if she had stayed friends with Ekko and become a Firelight herself - but that aspect left her.
nah its a reference to a photographer (most shots in the video are) called Gordon Parks
@@MrWTFgameplay Both can be true.
crazy mention on "the get jinxed" video.
They are so cool, music heads and sports and basketball fans are literally best combination.
❤️❤️❤️
You can also watch kda popstars (fortiche made this when arcane was about to get canceled before it was released). When you are done with arcane you can also watch the making of of arcane.
I can't wait to dive into all the League cinematics with these two - it's gunna be a fire lore dive! I wonder what they'll be the most hyped for - my money's on a particular season cinematic ;)
Yesss thank you for all your amazing recs!! Your playlist is clutch 🤩🙏🏼
But Pow-Pow is the name of her minigun
pow pow is the name of the minigun in the game. so you can imagine the shock in the community in episode 6 when vi calls jinx "pow pow"
@@hmmthatsinterestinglol ohhhhh
You know what? fair, I play league league in spanish, that's why that never rang a bell with me, now I see they translated "powpow" to "pium-pium" lol
@@Matiasfv Her Minigun is named Powpow, such a clever detail, yet F'ed up.
What's worse is that "Jinx" is causing chaos, and she's saying "let's see what pow pow thinks"... in a way she's talking about her "former self", the "weak pow pow that wouldnt be able to think of such things let alone survive them"
y'all should watch the entire ceremony for League that featured the show, so many cool sets were built
I think you guys will really like the documentary of the behind the scenes of arcane, you'll get a lot of cool references.
A little bit of context about jinx's age
In the first few episodes, powder is 10years old, but after the time skip, when we first see her as jinx, she is 16. But in league of legends itself, jinx is now 25 while Caitlyn and VI are in their early 30s. Concurrently, jayce is 24 at the beginning of arcane, 30 after the time skip and 39-40 in the game
So even at the end of Arcane season 1, there is still 9 years separating us from the point in time where they were introduced to LoL.
whait,what...
isnt supposed that renata glasc is 40 years old, jayce created the sun gates, renata was a child when the sungates where created, does this means that renata is younger than jaice
Worlds 2021 Show Open Presented by Mastercard: Imagine Dragons, JID, Denzel Curry, Bea Miller, PVRIS
Okay so to explain what you're about to see is, well.
Another recommendation
Still Here | Season 2024 Cinematic - League of Legends (ft. Forts, Tiffany Aris, and 2WEI)
Maybe after finished season 1, you guys should watch arcane bridging the rift as well.
Yes!! We’re starting this already since we finished filming S1 already 🤩
I have the atla map as my wallpaper just like the one in the background. It kinda freaked me out for second.😂
Also, loved the reaction!
How cool!! We’re twinning now 🤩❤️
"Get Jinxed" was the first collaboration between Riot and Fortiche Studio.
Jinx was already a popular character but after Arcane she elevated into the stratosphere and became the fan favorite by a mile.
🔥🔥🔥
The Jinx in "Get Jinxed" is older. That's why she looks different.
4:44 that like every league of legends music video, theyre so good at it.
You guys should also watch the making of arcane after youre done with the series. Its called "bridging the rift" its so good!
We’ve filmed half of Bridging the Rift so far!! So good and can’t wait to finish it 🤩🙏🏼
Y'all should do the other music videos for League of Legends, they're all so good.
One of my favorites is "the curse of the sad mummy", it's very emotional and such a pretty video
Get Jinxed is the most canon video riot first made. but Also the most truest vidoe for Jinx. She is someone who wants chaos but no death
i quiet like how we see powder training like her sister but she grew up a weapon expert instead realizing physical strength isn't the only type of power
If not already whatched, don’t miss the 4 parts making off available over here. Really great stuff, deserving a react!
It's so interesting to listen to your reactions, because you come from arcane and discover league of legends content !
Glad you enjoy it! 🥹🙏🏼❤️
League of Legends has SO many music videos and cinematics.
I don't even play the game and I am a fan.
Just something I find interesting
If you put get jinx ending on the left side 8:57 then ENEMY on the right side 1:23. You get a little symbolic picture of jinx killing her past self.
The one singing “get jinxed” is agnete Kjølsurd lead singer of djerv and former singer of animal alpha
Recently I've been addicted to October ends ' new song. Reacting to it would be awesome 🤘
Yeah, you guys are awesome
The "Jinx" in tthe Enemy video really doesn't seem as emotionally fraught as the one we see in Arcane. For the moments we see her, her expression seems calm, strong, and confident. I think this is who Powder *wanted* to grow up to be.
Vi also has her own song. Its not animated but its really underrated. Might check it out.
Did you notice in Enemy the brief shot of Powder on her rhino?
While the Enemy video was made with wholly original work, it really fills in the character's backstories.
ngl...thought this was a clickbait video...but you guys know your stuff.
I highly recommend them to react to the worlds 2021 opening ceremony bc it relates to Arcane
Georgia Dow does a breakdown on Jinx (and other characters) in Arcane. They are definitely worth watching.
Pre-Arcane: Why is Jinx so fixated on Piltover?
Post-Arcane: Piltover must be destroyed!

10:17 yes thats because my enemy is an imagine dragons amv for the show, but get jynxed IS jynx
the game is roughly 6 years after arcane.
Jinx is about 15 or 16 in arcane, shes 21 in the game.
Thats why she looks older in this video
you guys should check out the song "here comes Vi" as well. there's no music video for it, but the song is still great. Nikki Taylor (who sings "Here comes Vi") also did a mashup of "Here comes Vi" and "Get Jinxed" together with Lunity which is fantastic.
If you pause it at the right time, when Powder shoots the enforcers with her finger gun, for a single frame she is Jinx.
Riot Games: The epic music studio that has also released some games and a tv show. :)
I saw Get Jinxed right before she was released for League, and I was convinced. I bough her the day she came out, and played pretty much only her for +5 years. Yeah, I sorta liked her.
Ya'll should check out a Jinx game on TH-cam sometime, just to get an idea of how crazy she is in game.
They need to see the other cinematics if they think the Get Jinxed one looked like its new. Imagine what she will think seeing the new ones
Can’t wait to see the others!
November can't come soon enough for season 2 I swear.
There are so many great music videos made for this game worth watching them if you want too
I always forget that Jinx wasn't in the game from the beginning. "Get Jinxed" was a promotion made back in 2013 for when they added her to the game.
And the joke is that Riot Games is actually a music-label that also happens to make games.
Get Jinxed foreshadowed the ending of s1 lmao

A lot of the stuff in the Enemy video ties in to add depth to future events in the shows. Stopping there to avoid spoilers. If you appreciate Arcane, you may also dig Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and Blue Eye Samurai.
After watching the season, I highly, highly recommend watching the Worlds 2021 show open. Consider it a live action Arcane.
Maybe you found Jinx strange in "Get Jinxed" here, she is an adult, in the "current time" of League of Legends, years after the end of Arcane
Djerv is a Norwegian band. "Djerv/Jerv" is "Wolverine" in Norwegian.
not as first was the sister thing done. it was slowly introduced. if you read both back stories they didnt match up (yea i know most people didnt read those). i think it was around jinx's 3rd year when they started hinting at they were sisters. funny thing is thats when arcane was first thought up (2016). also remember arcane wasnt going to be cannon. they even have a interview with the writers of arcane after season 1 dropped and they said it was a different universe and it wont be the same as the main universe but as we know they have changed all that.
Fun fact the scene in the beginning of get jinxed is almost the same scene as the ending of arcane season one
If you enjoyed these, Ekko, Caitlyn, and Vi all also have individual champion themes from before the show. A couple of them might have some light spoilers in the titles, though, so you may want to confer with your editor.
Riot wake up and think to themselves "Let's make TV shows and MVs instead of balance the game", and they deliver it
"I want somebody make me a character"
~live action Caitlyn, 2024 😂😂
the jinx in the game and all the other characters are from the future that´s why this jinx looks older the arcane series is placed in the past when they become the playable characaters we know in lol
There are tons of LoL cinematics, of varying quality. Not worth going through all of them but you should definitely catch the other half of this video, Here Comes Vi!
Please also watch the cinematic that Riot makes for LoL. Especially Warriors (the one with a blonde girl as the thumbnail). I'd watch all of them though :).
