Jessi really is one of the only idols I've seen that doesn't follow the typical innocent look, her along with hyunA, CL, Hwasa, and sulli are really the only people I can name that go for a more provocative image. She really speaks her truth and doesn't mind those who get offended. Jessi is actually pretty sweet and cute in real life. She just got no filter on her speech, so it becomes endearing somehow? There's also plenty of other Korean hip hop music that is just as explicit as this. Even BTS songs with the individual members, like Agust D and RM's solo songs from their mixtapes (though nothing sexual). Jessi also revealed recently that she has a massive crush on Jungkook 😂😂

Yay!! We've arrived to the Jessi rabbit hole!!! This isn't even her dirtiest song. She goes hard always though! And Jessi has ZERO filter even in her real life persona. She's Korean American (born in NY raised in NJ) and she's now 34 but she's been in the game since around 15 yrs old...so...many years of her building up to this moment in her career. She is also the host of her own show where she has the top celebrity guests and she's absolutely hilarious (and again with zero filter). It's called Jessi Showterview. There's a few compilations of her funniest moments you guys would love and it'll help you guys understand her at a whole new level. She's extremely unique.

I love Jessi! She grew up in US and went to Korea to build her music career. She's not considered idol/kpop but Korean Hip Hop. My fave songs of hers are Who Dat B, What Type of X and Nunu Nana... i recommend you react to those! She's sexy and straightforward and funny too! She is always unapologetically herself and challenges Korean standards on how women are often expected to act in Korean conservative society. Thanks again for your reaction. 💜

Jessi (pronounced Jessie) has been in the game for a long time. She used to call herself Jessica Ho back in the day. She really blew up a few years ago after she came out in "unpretty rapstar" - a female rap competition show. She really has a unique style and her personality is super cute and funny 🥰
This song is for a TV show called "Street women fighter" - female dance crew battle show. All the dancers are from the show. Super well known - they choreographed a lot of kpop dances as well. You should check out other songs by Jessi and check out her dance monkey cover!

Ahhhh Jessi is definitely a bad b****. She grew up in America so you can definitely see the influence but she has been shaking up the K-industry with how bold she is. I wanna say shes been in the industry for 13(?) years (please correct me if I'm wrong!) Also Street Woman Fighter is a dance show where a whole bunch of female dance crews in Korea compete so those were the dancers you saw in the video. Each outfit/scene was a different crew from the show and Jessi came out at the end. I think you guys would enjoy getting into more of her music because she is also an amazing vocalist! Always love your guys' reactions!

I think it's a misconception that all Korean music doesn't have swearing or provocative words, but honestly, that's because Kpop is the biggest genre to come out of Korea and it's mostly censored. But Korean songs are literally normal songs lmao. And Jessi is a Kpop idol too and she doesn't censor her music!
