If no one has mentioned it, atmosfear used to be an observation deck that would slowly spin up to the top to give a view of the park and city. Before it went up it went down into the basement where you got a video with a bit of facts about Gothenburg or a visit to the Liseberg bunnies.
Thanks for another great vlog. Btw Liseberg have confirmed that they are going to take FlumeRide down and build a new Log Flume but the have not said when exactly this will happend more then that it will be within 5 years. Also the people you saw driving around honking their horns those are students who have graduated from upper secondary school.
That area that you point out as "completely dead" at 22:53 is called the "Harbour District" and most of the time it´s a more quiet dining area with a couple of seafood restaurants and a Gasten themed bar. The building with the sign that says Polketten is also called "Lilla Scenen" and all throughout the season it hosts local artists and also some international ones not quite big enough to fill the area in front of "Stora Scenen" (the large stage close to the main entrance). The Harbour area has also been used for more experimental events, such as beer festival, jazz festival, outdoor nightclub and probably some more stuff that I missed. It's a cool place to go and have a beer and listen to lesser known bands, I like it a lot! Not sure if the rollercoaster crowd are aware of the amount of concerts Liseberg host every year? For many locals those are the primary reason to visit the park on a regular basis. Don't get me wrong, we love the attractions too!
Good o see you & Paul at Liseberg amusement park what looked an amazing park Andy and that you have done every coaser there the dark ride looked good too - Nice 1 mate 👍
