Thank you for the wonderful processional. Come Ye Thankful is always such a powerful hymn and statements of God's Blessings on us!

"The trumpet shall sound": in melody and descant in the first and final verses of the processional and recessional hymns. A clearly professional level augmentation of the cathedral's usual professional level musical performances. Take a bow Michael Harper and Thomas Sheehan and all of Thomas' WNC musical staff and/or performers.

I so appreciate Ariana playing Now Thank We All Our God without the traditional fermatas at the end of every phrase! Wonderful service. This Canadian is thankful for the Cathedral!

We worshipped @ this service in 1989. We were invited to sit in the choir w/other early attendees. My wife & I were excited- our early adolescent sons, not so much! Glorious, whatever year!

To make this Thanksgiving truly memorable, consider incorporating unique traditions, like a gratitude jar where everyone can share what they’re thankful for, or a themed potluck where each dish represents a special memory. Setting the table with personal touches, such as handwritten place cards or autumn-themed décor, can also elevate the experience. Most importantly, take time to truly connect with each other, sharing stories and laughter to weave lasting bonds. This holiday isn’t just about the meal; it’s about the moments that linger in our hearts long after the last slice of pie is gone.

I have never heard of the “husky” section at the clothing store mentioned in the homily-that was cracking me up!
