I guess an age appropriate 62 year old "Sexy Little Thing" in the video wouldn't have been quite as appealing. I always wondered what the rockers of my youth would be doing in their senior years. I thought it would be odd if they were still rocking, but now that it's here, it is still just as awesome as it was back then. Sammy has always written basic girls/cars lyrics, that`s why he was the perfect fit for VH, I think this is the perfect reply by some of rocks best. More often times than not, when great musicians come together, you always get a different spin on what they have done in the past, and then what's created is something that still stands up and rocks; This my friends is a great ensemble and is worthy of praise not unlike a Marshall JCM 800 cranked all the way. Classic? Yes, but still outstanding.

Let me say at the onset, this is merely my opinion, so it matters not if you agree or disagree. Their music may not be as deep and progressive as some of the old school Rock. However, it relay comes down to genre, if you like bands like Moxy, Montrose and Van-halen, you will probably appreciate this band as much as I do. These guys play fun, kick ass music.

Great song and happy if they are making it the next single, perhaps it should have been the first. I thought the girl was incongruous at first (mis-match to the ages of the band members) but then the young bloke entered the scene and that was the balance. Nice job again by Jon.
@1BlackJackCassidy: I came late to the discussion. IMHO, Van Roth and Van Hagar stand completely on their own and are outstanding. I tend to compartmentalize my hard rock/metal projects! I think the Van Hagar sound has that maturity and song writing prowess, but the Van Roth is just Halen out on a limb and landing on their feet with that immediacy. Different Vibes, but outstanding none the less! Regards. CR

I enjoyed how these four awesome musicians came together and made some real rock music! I hope there are other groups like this out there now (since Chickenfoot unfortunately disbanded a few years ago)
It would be great if these guys would cut another album. This was supposed to be a one time project, but the album went Gold and the shows they managed to pull off SOLD OUT. It's going to be awhile. Chad is back with the RHCP in the studio and then I imagine they will tour. One last CF show scheduled in Vegas, early December, wish I could go. Peace...
