I'm subscribed and never forget to like but, even w/ the price break (which is a deal that I'd love to take advantage of, Alas I spent all my money on a Fender Squier Affinity SSS and Fender LT25 modeling amp...I had to buy the gig bag even though I don't play gigs🤣 and w/cable, capo, strings and a capo and I'm broke and probably will die penniless and nobody will ever love me 😂)

Thanks for doing this Steve, I really thought it brought a context to your life and work that wasn't really there before. It's funny how the ideas we have about someone we don't _really_ know (before we learn information like this) kind of track with our own personalities (like you just assume that the person you're watching on TH-cam is like you in most respects)...and yet I didn't really hear anything that surprised me either. I'm glad you found your way to your present reality, because you both seem really happy.

It’s amazing to me how similar all us artists, guitarists, and musicians are. Like the quirky habitual shit like obsessive thoughts about music the process the instruments the sound/tone. Late night binges. All of it! And how our wives and family react to it, my wife has a favorite guitar from my collection as well it’s my ‘91 Ibanez Jem 77FP

I have always thought that you were a decent person and that who we see is authentic. This video has cemented that view. It is wonderful to see two people so connected and obvioualy in a real solid relationship. Jenny is a real delight and I love to see couples where there is mutual support and respect and maturity. I appreciate you allowing yourself to be "exposed". It makes it all the more real! Thanks to both of you - you have given me hope for this world.

Here's some of my favorite episodes of you. The trying to beat guitar world records, trying out gimmicky gadgets, help finish my song guitar giveaway, mystery noise in the house, and playing to everyday sounds.
My wife isn’t into my guitars at all, like I went apeshit when I found a black Tele I could buy and she’s got no interest in it at all, but, I resprayed a Squier Strat I had in cyan blue and used a red tortoiseshell scratch plate and she adores that guitar. No idea why, but of all the ones I’ve done, it’s the only one she has liked on my Insta, and it’s the only one she ever mentions.

Not for nothin', but Samurai Jenny should do a video channel. Or at least monthly episodes on how to shoot this sort of stuff. One, she's a natural on camera and two, it's a hole in the guitar world, IMHO.

When I bought my Taylor I told the guys at the store I need to call my wife.... they were all like "NOOOOOOO" I called her and she was cool. They were baffled. When you spend thousands on something it is nice to give your better half a heads up. We just have super amazing wives. That being said, she wants a vacation of at least equal value now. so.... lol
