I wish this new one would be waterproof for real, but it seems to have the same problems of the previous ones. I've lost two GoPro 9 playing at the beach due to water leakage issues. They were new, but the only answer I've received from warranty was "I'm sorry, that happens. Buy a new one. Warranty does not cover it"

Hey there - GoPros have been waterproof without a housing since HERO5. HERO9, HERO10 and HERO11 are waterproof down to 10 meters. I am sorry that you have had issues, if there were leaking issues due to a faulty camera, they will be covered by warranty.

I have a Hero 8 and this looks like a good upgrade, especially since in future I would like to get POV shots to use with my Panasonic GH6 videos and with the addition of 10-bit color and 5.3K this will defiantly be a plus. One of the options I wish GoPros had was a macro option for the lens that you could have turned off or set to auto, so you can choose if you get the camera close to an object, it will focus on it, rather than being out of focus without a close up lens addition.
I take my GoPro Hero 10 in every trip I make with my family and is my main camera ... Wonderful stabilization and excellent camera in the day light ... For the evening I have to carry a Sony 7 III to get a decent movie and decent stabilization. Hope GoPro 11 come with lowlight improvement otherwise is a no go for me .
no action camera is gonna beat your a7iii in low light. stick to that for low light, and use the action camera for daylight. digital stabilization isnt good for low light anyway. and bigger sensor means more overheating.

@ all digital stabilization suffers in low light. gopro stabilization is only usable in daylight. so bigger sensor is not necessary if its gonna cause overheating. also most people arent doing extreme action in low light, mostly slower stuff like vlogging, which the a7iii is fine for.

The main feature everyone wants is better low-light performance, particularly better low-light stabilization. They could have copy-pasted everything else, and that alone would have been enough to get people to upgrade. For me this is a miss. I might end up buying it anyway, because we use the heck out of our action cameras and this is on the same chassis as our 9B and 10B. I might be better off with the mini to complement our 9B/10B. I need to check that one out.
I'm working as videographer tour documentation, and i use Hero 9. Is already awesome to capture all my moment and now Hero 11 must be incredible! Can't wait to upgrade✨

I have 2 questions regarding Hero 11. 1.Am I wrong or GoPro removed narrow lens in GP 11? 2.when shooting the footage my GoPro 11 is starting with flat colors and slowly it is changing colors to vibrant in the same video. I'm a journalism educator in Florida and we use Go Pros for our website, yearbook and TV production classes. Our Go Pro 10s have treated us super well. Can't wait for the 11s. Easily one of the best educational tools for my students.

I got free replace with Hero 5. After years I'm get leaking during snorkeling too. Replace motherboard still works.

No, new camera will be able to shoot 5k res frames 60 times a second and be pocket sized and it will not dissipate any heat. Get real.
