I've made something similar to these - called bierox. Instead of the Italian sauce and pepperoni, I use hamburger, chopped cabbage & onions, and cheese. I'd say that the pizza puffs are a spin on calzones.
I use the Rhodes dinner rolls all the time ! I just noticed recently that you can use these for pizzas ! So I'm thrilled you did this little tutorial today !!
I made these with Pillsbury pizza dough…. They were so delicious and my children loved them as well. I made pepperoni and sausage

Yes I agree with you, you can make your own home made pizza. I try it with flat bread and it is delicious the same as yours. The only thing though peparoni is a little bit oily for me. So I have to come up with another substitute. Thank you and God bless, have a nice day and enjoy every meal.
I put some pieces of pepperoni between paper towels, and I heated them up in the microwave for about 30 seconds.(Check after 15 or 20 seconds, and figure out what you need your time to be). So anyway I cooked them a little bit, and then I blotted them dry. It took away a lot of the oil, and made them much nicer. Then I used them in my pizza puffs.

I just moved to a new location & there is a Little Caesars about a half block away, tried their Crazy Puffs a few days ago & MAN they are good!!
