Zahn McClarnon on Native American tropes and stereotypes, and why sobriety matters

- "Reservation Dogs" star Zahn McClarnon shares insight into the changes he's seen in Native American representation in Hollywood over the course of his career. The actor says, "We grow up with these stereotypes and these dropes about native Americans and the public is learning we're not all on horseback and yipping and yelling in buckskin. We're human beings."

Zahn Mclarnon is one of the most watchable actors out there. I’ve been reading the Hillerman novels for decades, so I love the Dark Winds series, but I’d like to see him cast in other leading roles in any show or movie. Plus nine more seasons of Dark Winds Please!

I loved this series on Netflix. And Zahn is fabulous! I watched Longmire and when I saw he was the main character on this show, I had to see it.

Sad thing about insulting Native Americans is that most people these days are actually liking them, but their reasons can be based on that stereotypes. I understand, it's just sad how good intends do bad results.

Reservation Dogs love it, I definitely found Dark Winds a little scary 😨 but very interesting especially when I've been listening to Native American history about the Navajo traditions, culture, and beliefs. However, Mr. Zahn please stay strong, pray because it's the greatest power on earth, and we all have up's and downs in our life as a old saying go's in some cultures WE FALL DOWN BUT WE GET UP it's important that we don't STAY DOWN, always if you can stay true, and positive to yourself and the ones you love family ❤ 😊Godbless

whats the movie/show at 1:02? I've seen clips of it knocking about but no idea what it belongs to. Is it a flashback scene from Reservation Dogs or something? I've scanned through his filmography but can't seem to find it.
I beleive its a TV series called "The Son" a western TV show with 2 seasons released in 2017
