I was wondering why, when I played the finale, there was very little mention of Himeko. They did it on purpose so it would hit even harder!

I love how Sirin is proud to Kiana it hits me hard when she said "You've done well"
HoV believed that the only way to purify the world was by wiping out humanity.
But Kiana had proven that there was other way.
HoV can now rest in peace knowing that Kiana will ensure that no one else will have to suffer like Sirin did. She now knows that there will never be another monster like her, and she's glad.
well, how can sirin not pround of herself as they acknowledged kiana is sirin but minus all of the terrible thing she has to gone through :v

Sirin(Void) for me is like a sibling to Kiana. They did part ways because of different ideals, but in the end she is proud of her sister proving her wrong at last🥲

Mihoyo's first game is named Fly me to the moon, it's about Kiana flying with a jet backpack, quite similar to the Flappy bird. Then finally she reach the moon at the end of Honkai Impact 3. Thats kinda romantic.

It is truly ironic. But then again, Otto knew that what he was doing was wrong, and he hated himself for it. He never asked for anybody to understand because he probebly dident either.
Kiana fought to protect everything that is beautiful in the world, and didn't even realize she was the greatest representation of that beauty herself.

The scene with little Kiana in the snow really hit me deeply. She picks herself up and she tells her young self: "It's all worth it. It'll be okay. Trust yourself." No matter when or where, no matter how many cycles (playthroughs?) she goes through, she knows she'll always make that same choice to always fight for all that is beautiful in the world

I have not been able to play the game for over a year. What is going on? Scrapping Kiana like ash from pokemon? idk how far this game is going to continue either. Or is this them trying to start ending the whole game itself?
@@zerowitches well no, spoilers ofc but she gained new powers and is on her way to defeat to Kevin. She also has to seal herself inside the moon to save humanity and this is most likely the last time she’ll see her friends and the last time she will be seen for a very long time but maybe she will appear in part 2. The entire story up until now was part 1, ending with kiana being sealed in the moon while reliving her memories and life as she fades, how it’s executed it makes it seems like she’s going to die and I guess in a way she kinda is.
This hurts so much. Kiana’s story kind of applies to the people who started Honkai when it came out. So basically when we all started playing we were in middle school, then went to high school, and most of the Honkai players now are either juniors or seniors, so this whole “Graduation Trip” animation really hits all of us hard.
For some reason when all the villains disappear it makes me tear up. They were all relatable villains. I related to the Herrscher of Dominion SO MUCH. Seeing her disappear made me cry “So, is this goodbye?” BRUH I FKING WISH DEPRESSION WERE THAT EASY TO GO AWAY GODDD
Especially with COVID and all the ups and downs people went through.
When that door closes on the train and you feel it echo. Like MY GOD. It tells the audience that whil she’s fine with leaving, it’s still so scary. And that’s what’s happening with seniors this year. Getting on the plane to go to college, or a bus, or your parents finally leaving you behind after helping you decorate your dorm.
Like shit…. I’m by myself. But your family and friends will always be there, just like Mei promised.

I started playing in april 2020 so i cant say im veteran, but 3 years is still a long time. I was sophomore in highschool back when and now im freshman in college. But i can say honkai really impact me (lmao) during my journey to adulthood.
I played for 5 years, it’s been a lot in these years but, as we can trust Mei when she says, “Let’s be together till the end of time.”
I was a pre-registeree in 2018 while I was in the military, and I finished the finale one year after my discharge. Gotta say this hits like a truck.

Otto apocalypse going "let the people from the past stay in the past." it hits sooo much harder with him saying it.
Now that I think about it, his new plan to not revive Kallen, but go back into the past to make a new future for Kallen instead sorta upholds this, because he was able to contain it within the past instead of shifting everything around to bring Kallen into the present.
He has built the future that Kallen so desired, starting by overthrowing the late overseer
He wants to enjoy the view together with her
Indeed, he went through this path and knows well it doesn't lead nowhere. Perhaps it was a mistake all along, but it was too late for him to change things? 🥲
@@Calvin_M. yeah, when you think about it, a lot of villains never actually got to their goal that they wanted nor accomplished because in almost every story they tend to either lose track of their goal and abandoned it entirely or a typical hero would stop them no matter how close they were to their plan.
To me, this game is like an anime about the growth and development of kiana and her teammates. Throughout their journey, Kiana and her group of friends have experienced countless happy and sad stories, tearful partings, fiery battles with enemies, and finally being reunited with each people she treasures,..all of which makes for an excellent storyline about kiana's journey: from an ordinary Valkyries to becoming a herrscher, the hero who will save humanity. Thanks again to Hoyoverse for creating such a great game, spending 7 years together has made me appreciate them more than ever.
and from this moment on, kiana's journey will become a legend.

So did the game ended or what I'm kinda confused, since I stop playing the game on my last year of high school since it my last year of highschool and I wanted to graduate.
I did play the game again when I graduate In 2020-19. But I forgot the story and stop reading the story in the manga.
Just graduated and came back to visit this beautiful cinematic. It hits hard that Kiana's arc came to an end at the same time as mine.

Technically, Mei got the authority of Origin from Elysia, who belongs to the previous era. Thus Origin does not belong in this era as it is the beginning, the true first herrscher.

Another explanation as to why mei isn't on the train could be that unlike those 3, she's not dead

@@wqi09 it is Otto though. It's a scene where he actually learned to move on and tells Kiana to do the same, or else they'll regret it, just like Otto. He did all his best trying to bring back someone from the dead since the 15th century and was unable to, and probably regretted that he didn't move on all those years and gave up.

@@syrez156 it's probably less "moved on" and more "he was unable to resurrect her, so he opted for the next best thing he could pull off for her, whatever the price." And he accepted that. He accepted that she won't be with him and he won't be with her. And through that, he found peace. Otto gave Kallen her life back, even at the cost of his own. And he went through with it anyway, because it's Kallen, so even his death would be an acceptable loss for a greater goal.
And all of this, more or less, got recorded into his Herrscher of Binding core.

The part that got me the most when Kiana asked Mei, “Do we have to part ways again here and now?” And Mei responded back with, “No, we will stay together till the end this time.” at the end Kiana still got on the train to leave as Mei watched her go 🥲

the song before the theme is “Canon in D”. for those who didn’t know, it was written for three violins and basso continuo, the three performers would ofc be Kiana, Mei, and Bronya. another fact about the song is that it was lost for centuries until the 80’s, so unless i’m overanalyzing; kiana will be back someday.

Oh I know that, it's Pachelbel's most popular piece. us violinist know that as one of the "overplayed" piece; especially for weddings. Though overplayed, Canon in D is beautiful as it is.

I've never played "Honkai Impact 3rd," just "Honkai Star Rail." But watching this and other people reaction, I do understand why its a masterpiece, even though I have not played HI3 and don't have any knowledge of its lore (at least a little bit).
Like for example:
I found out why some Honkai players would react to Himeko in HSR, as if they're seeing a ghost, or as if they're thinking if it's a dream or not. I encounterd this in other TH-cam videos such as memes, comment jokes, and other content creator's reactions. Btw, full respects to all captains who have endured this long ever since the moment in Chapter 9.
I do understand what's the point of Chapter 35. It's how this game and its community have come this far. And how far Kiana has come. I do know a little bit of context about Kiana, but I can tell that she is a good written character. What a wild journey for her.
The animations and the music is so beautiful btw. I didn't cry from this video, but when I keep watching this and hearing its music (even watching other people's reactions), it hits me so hard that I feel like I want to cry. It make me feel happy and sad at the same freaking time.
Even though I have never played Hi3 and never experienced it, I get emotional watching this, because I know and understand why it's a big deal. Honestly I know almost nothing about this game and all nor play it but the video alone gives me a slight idea that shit happened in the story. Also, HSR exists, especially with the memes of various some characters

Hopefully she's alluded to in the future in other games, living the "happy" part of her ending. I'm sure she will, but as I only play genshin, hopefully I'll get to hear about it too when it happens. GOD I'D NEVER BE ABLE TO NOT CRY
I have never been this impacted by a game. I only started playing it back in 2020, not long before the 3rd anniversary, but man has the story never ceased to reel me in. After nearly 3 years of playing this game, I am super happy to see where we are at now. Kiana Kaslana, K423, and the universe that is Honkai Impact, has been the best thing miHoYo has ever created. Never did I think that a random TH-cam ad from a random video would ever get me this hooked on such a game, such a story, such a universe, and such a character.
I have shed plenty of tears over these characters here, but I’m done crying now. The story of Kiana Kaslana was grand and the amount of people she has impacted through this game and across the world is nothing short of amazing. Her story may be over for now, but it is only a chapter. We are about to step into the next chapter of the story. Kiana is gone, but she will return. While she is gone, we should do our parts.
I’m not sure how many people will read this, but I challenge you: take the time to move forward with yourself. This game is truly just a game, but the emotions that we feel are anything but. Give yourself the space to gather yourself, to look on the past as it is, and focus on the present. In the game, Kiana said it should take 5 to 10 years or so (knowing her, it’ll somehow be less). Take the time to go improve your lives: go get that job; get that degree; find yourself; find another; live your life and make your own story. Hold your head high, and live your life with a smile! Smile so the world knows that there are good things to come!

The last scene was literally heart-breaking because it not only makes you realize that part of her will try to return to Earth but actually the truth is more poignant because it shows that Kiana in the meantime is sealed on the Moon until 8 or 10 years pass. The song at the end is like her sort of hope that her friends will not forget her and that for her to have left them is always painful anyway , she will have to wait all that time alone while those she loves grow up without her physically 😭
She'll be fine, she has free fiber optics wifi that covers the moon and earth along with telepathy. She is far from alone, just not in hug range.

@Kizami I From what I remember, Earth needs time to heal after the events of Project Stigma. In its current state, it won't be able to withstand the full power of finality, aka Kiana. So once Earth heals (estimation 8-10, some say 15 years), she'll be able to return to earth and something else i can't quite remember, but that's the jist, i believe.
I doubt they'll ever forget her, but even though its only 8-10 years, its still sad that Kiana won't get to spend her youth with her friends.
Interesting point of view, I'd understood that a part of her will always remain on earth, not physically, but will stay on the heart of her friends. That nod was she agreeing to do what had to be done hoping that her loved ones will remain safe on earth. Also, for the others, APHO hints that Kiana is on them moon, and APHO takes place 8 years after main story. Considering that the Sky people want to harness Honkai energy, and that 99% of Honkai energy is on the moon, maybe APHO will take us to Kiana again?
We didn't just raise Kiana, we grew up alongside her as fellow Captains, now that her story has ended ours too as well. Dammit I'm gonna cry.
We were the Captains who raised the girls, the Captains who grew up alongside the girls, and we were the girls themselves.
I started playing HI3 two months ago because I play HSR and wanted to know more about Welt's backstory, a little quick dip in and then out. Oh how wrong I was. I got completely enveloped in this story about love, and throughout all the highs and the lows I've never cried so many times before playing a game.
This journey have made me look differently on things in life, and as such I am glad. I am glad I got to experience the story of Kiana, of Mei, of Bronya, and all the others. They truly are worthy of tears.
Thank you miHoYo for creating and sharing such a beautiful and wonderful game.
And thank you Kiana Kaslana.

You can actually try and do it at your own pace. In fact, Honkai is a wonderful game, but in addition to having an incredible story, the gameplay may not be attractive to some people, as it will have a lot of dialogue and no English dubbing, but that doesn't stop it from being an incredible game, it's worth a lot for this story.

Bros seriously give the Kaslana girl some credit. Not once did she give up. Even after that pessimistic entity tried to make her believe both her parents abandon her, she never faltered. Both Siegfried and Cecilia really loved and cared about Kiana. She held onto that thought and fought through countless battles that almost spelt the end for her. A wonderful journey I must say. I'm forever grateful to Hoyoverse.

Sirin then met Kiana the good half and Sirin finally got a family in the most unexpected way.
It is revealed that Kiana personality is the good half of Sirin while HoV is evil half, in the end it was good half who brought all together and got a family.
Like I said Sirin got a family like she wanted, you can the sadness in sirin's eyes in that reflection but knows now that they will no longer see her as a evil but as a hero as a family

Truth is metamorphosis, evolution of Reason Core. Bronya wanted to go towards the future, so instead on just relying on the past burden of previous HoR's, she used them to create new way forward and thus gained true power of HoR, becoming Herrscher of Truth. That power is a lot more versitale and it can even build or repair things like star gate or burned chips.
Herrscher of Origin is the power of small and sincere wishes that accumulates together to make something big happen. Elysia, warrior from previous era, was born a Herrscher with origin authority, but she lived with humans and loved them so much, that she sacrificed herself and used that power to make possible for Herrscher in next era to retain they humanity (Some of the Herrschers are created without host, so they are still honkai technically, but they are not puppet of the will of honkai anymore).
Mei was able to meet heroes of previous era in an special simulation, gain they knowledge and experience, learn about their past, and thanks to becoming a sucessor, she was able to found "space of origin" while they were dealing with Project Stigma (Project that Kevin started) and she got authority of Origin from Elysia, later confirming to Kiana that she's now both Herrscher of Thunder and Herrscher of Origin.
And Herrscher of Finality... Well, it's complicated but in a short way I can say it like that:
Many "cycles" of planet earth ago, cocoon of finality landed on earth tried to make it similar to itself, beacause Honkai is like aliens that want to find to make humans similiar to them beacause they want to hug someone, but honkai did it bad way and then kind of decided to destroy humanity like a lot of other planets, not sure if on purpose or not.
Thanks to work of heroes from the last era, and our girls from current era, main trio was able to finally got to the cocoon od Finality, where Kiana recieved authority from other Herrschers of current era (Including the ones that they've won with) and combined power of them, gave her power of Finality.
After beating up Kevin, she got the rest of Finality authority, becoming full Herrscher of Finality, not artifical one like before the battle and during the battle. And if you are asking what power of Finality does... It's basically the whole existence of Honkai, power that to some extend trascends the space and time and it's the power that caused the Honkai to re-appear in every era, but now thanks to Kiana, they've transcended this cycle.
It isn't even sad, it's just super emotional and beautiful. I am normally not an emotional person but this...I couldn't hold back my tears. It was veeery beautiful. AMAZING WORK
Very fitting that this came out when i also graduated college. I witnessed her journey, her struggles and victories from 2018 til now. She has grown so much.

They've been pouring their souls into Kiana since their humble origins, since Fly Me To The Moon, developing a beautiful character throughout GGZ and HI3rd until success, and now they're finally ready to put their most beloved mascot to rest and move on. You can see it in all the little hints, easter eggs and references scattered throughout the video, the sheer love for this character and the world around her, there's even a little nod to Houkai Gakuen 2 (GunGirlZ) in the OST Da Capo at 5:30

I’ve stopped playing since I lost my Account when Hoyoverse was officially implemented in the game and I couldn’t bring myself to start over after all the work I put into it. But that never stopped me from loving HI3. This was the very first Mobile game I grew addicted to, shortly after it was first released. My love for it will never waver!

At 4:02 there's an easter egg, the train line map that appears in the doorway actually has two different routes; Kiana's story and Honkai's story. The various "stops" along the lines are milestones in the story/Kiana's path, such as the names of various animations (Kiana's line) and locations of importance (Honkai's line). To note, the purple train line that represents Honkai's story does not end at the moon, there is an indistinguishable location written at the end.

6 years has gone by since I started playing this game. I was a student in college and now I have my own daughter. I used to cry for departure and losses, now I cry even harder for how kiana has grown and how every character was mentioned in this vedio. Thank you mihoyo for making this complete and amazing story for us. (I hate how a classic anime/tv show/game becomes shitty as they go on and on for comercial reasons.)

Today marks one year since I finished part 1 of the story and Kiana Kaslana's story ended (part 2 doesn't convince me at all)
i haven't played honkai, yet almost as if completely disregarding that fact, these animations, soundtracks, dialogues convey the bittersweet meaning so flawlessly- even to someone who doesn't know of the struggles this girl has gone through.
i can't imagine the range of conflicting emotions the long-time honkai players must be feeling at this, but i bet you're all proud of kiana.

I played honkai probably on its release or a year after, and played only a few chapters before going on and off. Seeing this, I felt bittersweet and felt like crying. But because of this, I will aim to get in the game and speed run it to the latest chapter to catch up.

kiana is easily one of the best protagonists ever created, her development is gradual and makes you feel closer to her, being able to see the other characters in the world actually living even if it was for a short time It was beautiful, the farewell was amazing and se that himeko is a strong foundation for kiana to this day It makes me really happy since himeko is my favorite character.

I stopped not because I was bored or anything, it's just that my world has changed... I have a lot of things to do and I don't have time to play anymore.
at that time i decided to leave HI3rd, i sold my account.
maybe it hurts me... remembering the memories that HI3rd gave me, but I think this is the best for me.

I think Kiana is one of the best main characters in anime/game it's been such an honor to watch and play though this journey over the years. Honkai impact was a masterpiece in my opinion and it will be awhile before I feel this level of happiness from a game again
I've only played Honkai Star Rail, I was directed to Impact's main channel because of my interest in Star Rail. Since then, I've been burning through the channel's content and even though I have never played this game I am absolutely floored at how much I love these characters. Truly impressive.

I started playing Honkai since 2018, i said to myself , "This game will have one of the greatest story in modern classics" , I'm glade i kept holding on to it, from kiana meeting her mother to HoV awaking to Himeko's sacrifice to Kiana's saving the City to Bronya being the HoR to Mei being HoT for Kiana toMei and Dulandal defeating duel herrscher to ighting HoS and Fu hua to Kiana being the HoF to Otto's pursuit to save kallen , to knowing Dulandal was the original Kiana to completing the Elysia relm and learn about the heros of the past to watching Elysia become the HoH to Bronya becomming the HoT to Dulandal and Kiana saving their father and FINALLY GETTING THE REUNION to Mei being the HoO to Kiana being the HOfi and in the end watching the Valk trio (now being the herrscher trio) beat Kevin with the help of Every captains from different place big or small and give him the peace he needed and FInally Ending our journey with Kiana being the New goddess of earth.
A lot of happiness , a lot of sadness , a lot of joy , a lot of tears were shred for this Awsome and close to heart game, I wish that more people can enjoy this masterpiece.

Seeing that small frame of Dr.MEI and Kevin behind the trio was like a bullet maybe, but seeing HoV give praise to Kiana made me wanna cry because I wanted the two to be friends.
"Da capo"(the ending song's name) is an Italian musical term that means "from the beginning" and is also a directive to repeat the previous part of music. For this song, I think it contains more meaning. For me, Honkai 3rd is a story about growth, hope and all beauty of the life. The graduation trip is an end of long journy lasted about 6 years, but also a new start for the new stage of life. So it's a hope that even after such a long journy, your heart remains the same.

WHEN SIRIN SAYS YOUVE DONE WELL IT ALWAYS MAKES ME TEAR UP
I had a few problems with the final act of ch 35, but this animation was just so well done. This is such a good mix of joy and sadness that I can't even express into words. I love Kiana as a character, so seeing her graduate and finally resolve all of her conflict from ch 9 makes me so proud but so sad. Now she has to leave to the moon and we probably won't get to see her as the mc anymore. I love her character, and having to depart from her feels almost personal and it just makes me feel so bittersweet.
Either way, thank you mihoyo for all that you have done for us captains. You've had a massive impact on my life, and I hope to more of the honkai story unfold in the near future. Until then, I'll keep rewatching and crying to this.
