Angelina was recorded here at the Nobel Peace prize tribute in Oslo Norway, elegantly honoring with song, the brave recipient, with peace and respect. She paid homage to Narges, who is currently on a hunger strike while imprisoned in Iran, for being an activist for women's rights. Her two twin children, who are 17, spoke on her behalf at this event. The more people who are aware, and call for change, the more hopeful that the leaders of Iran will set her free. Implementing acts of kindness to others is how Angelina always reminds us to live our lives. We ALL need to honor Angelina by following her lead. If more people provide this kind of love and kindness, we will all help make the world a better place. Peace and Love.
Toward the end of the song it appeared Angelina was about to cry, overrun with emotion, but she kept it together and finished the song masterfully in a style that touches our hearts like only she can. If you take the time to understand what this ceremony and performance was all about it will affect you even more. Angelina transformed from the barefoot princess into the Goddess of Music with this spectacularly emotional performance of Unchained Melody, sung to the husband and children of Narges Mohammadi of Iran, the birth country of Angelina’s maternal grandmother, who is in prison for fighting for women’s rights in that country. This despicable regime has not allowed this woman to see her children for over eight years, maybe the notoriety this video is getting around the world will expose these horrible despots for the horrible human beings that they truly are. Music can attack the soul like no other!
Not even Bobby Hadfield's 'Gold Standard' rendition permeates my inner being to the level that she achieves here. It is a fitting tribute to a brave woman that is languishing in an Iranian jail for simply trying to improve women's rights. I'm sure her grandmother, Mery Zamani, was beaming with pride after this performance, for she is Iranian as well. May God bless Narges Mohammadi.

This interpretation of her is fascinating and wonderfully intimate, it made this legendary song perfectly suited for the occasion of the tribute to Narges Mohammadi! I was moved to see and hear Angelina singing in such an incredibly mature and charming way 7 years after the last time and in the same studio and certainly also with some of the musicians who accompanied her as a child, when she took her first steps towards his musical future. Here Angelina was simply fantastic and "unchained", a singer who has already sung on 2 different occasions at the Nobel Prizes and at only 17 years old.💛🧡❤

This video is a masterpiece that I have watched more than 75 times. Every time I hear the KORK Orchestra begin playing, I feel a surge of emotion because I know what is coming next: the most amazing rendition of Unchained Melody by the incomparable Angelina Jordan. She has a voice of an angel and a talent beyond words.
