My friend lost 30+ lbs on Ozempic and I was considering doing it, but I knew it wouldn’t be good for me and I would not qualify. I’m not over weight by any means but I wanted to feel stable after eating and not have to eat sweets after every meal; so I looked into Berberine.
It’s been 3 weeks and I do not crave sweets after eating, and I’m loosing the puff or water weight I had, it’s pretty amazing. I highly recommend

Berberine has been a complete game changer for me!!! I’ve been fasting going on one year, and started berberine shortly after I started fasting so it’s been a while. I can tell a huge difference in berberine, exercise, and diet/fasting OMAD in my case at least. I don’t have any intention of stopping anytime soon. I actually can eat cookies, cakes, etc after my healthy meal and not gain any weight! I also take Ceylon cinnamon, chromium, and walk/elliptical for about 30 minutes after my meal. Im definitely implementing some “hacks” “Glucose Goddess” is someone I also follow and she gives great advice on how to navigate blood glucose spikes throughout the day. I take ACV before my meals and break my fast with veggies/fiber, protein, fats and then carbs. Eating in that order can lower your blood glucose spike significantly. The time I get breaks during my day consists of studying health and nutrition. It’s just fascinating to me to be able to control what happens within my body. It’s our decision and we decide what happens inside of us!

I included berberine with a carnivore diet with intermittent fasting (1-2 meals a day). The weight is falling off. My gut inflammation is gone, acid reflux gone, sleep apnea gone. Mood is stabilised. I take berberine when I break my fast around 1pm. I take it with raw milk, quercitin, a multi vitamin and a high fat meal such as steak and eggs with cheese. The fat helps with absorption. Feeling superhuman.

I'm now on VA Health care in the US. Very sadly, the turnover of primary care doctors at the facility I go to, is really high. I've had 3 different primary care doctors bitch at me about my a1c and try to put me on metformin. I've told all of them that I'd rather try Berberine, and that studies have shown it's supposedly as beneficial as metformin with NO side effects. The only doctor that even bothered to write it down, is the newest doctor I have.

Started 500mg berberine twice a day about 6 months ago. Im in my 30s, but my memory and mental health have improved noticeably. I've had an awful memory and struggled with depression since I was a kid, but now I have a great memory. Ive taken breaks from berberine and within a week or two I feel my mood and memory regressing. My A1C went from 5.1 to 4.6 although I have not lost any weight. Interestingly I no longer get tired after a large meal. My joint pain has improved. Overall, I have been pleasantly surprised and am curious if berberine is safe to take long-term?

On the days im a little tired never quite sure if it's my dose or maybe I'm just tired!! I train 6 days a week and feel in better shape than ever... to be fair to the medics, I think everyone is different regard thyroid and thyroxine so unless you have a full time specialist working with you then you have to try and learn the right things to do, and what to notice and what to ask, and by doing that you can lead and direct the physicians. Good luck to you and your mum

Going keto is another way to improve brain function. If she does not want to go keto start on 2 tablespoons of coconut oil and mct oil a day working up to 4 times per day. Add high doses of bentofiamine but start with a lower dose add b2, b3, and b complex. Add magnesium supplements from 320mg standard dose magnesium threonate works on the brain other wise magnesium bis/glycinate will do. Add omega 3 high dose liquid😢 formula 3 tablespoons a day, zinc, iodine or fish every day for 1 meal, canned sardines are good, selenium, get pottassium from leafy greens and 7 cups. Add cruciferous vegetables and fermented foods. Add vit d3 upto 10000 iu per day. Sitting in the sun does not usually help older women re vit d but sitting surrounded in a shady area looking at light reflection from green plants helps melatonin levels. Vit k2M-7 200 to 300 mg per day. Pre and pro biotics salt and lacto fermented foods see yt for receipie. Finally add calcium foods and multivitamin multivitamin.
