Loki 2 did absolutely not set up Kang- it actually rounded his narrative out and served as a great ending. We only talk about Kang that way because Marvel told us he was gonna be the phases Big Bad BUT if they never told us that, we wouldn’t be looking at Kang that way. And X-Men 97 is an MCU project whether you like it or not. It doesn’t have to be 616 to be MCU. They made the show. The MCU can’t be “lost” if they keep putting out quality projects. That’s a weak narrative that only exists online.

It makes perfect sense for Isaiah to be triggered since he was experimented on by the US government in Falcon and Winter Soldier, we didn't see the extent of how he was tortured like Bucky was. And yes, Sam is not Steve Rogers, but Steve knew he was going to be the right man to carry on the job.

One thing I don’t understand that some people blow over their heads is that Sam already has Vibranium wings with his tv show suit. It would make sense to integrate this “new metal” into his wings if they absorb radiation. Red Hulk’s powers is that he generates radiation and absorbs in the comics.
