Okay, so I love this song more than I can express. Whenever I'm down I listen to it. I try to sing along, but I'm usually giggling because of how happy this song makes me.
I've listened to this dozens of times... well... done... I'm a 62 year old pilot, on a layover and you all make being away from my family! thank you! you'll see something from me! All the best! R
This is so good!! I'm freaking out right now. I never really thought I'd get to see "Accent does The Real Group" but my dreams have been coming true. It's so perfect - Evan is practically the only bass I can think of who can really sound like Anders Jalkeus, Simon is one of the few people capable of hitting Katarina's harmonies so easily, and Meg just has this tone of voice that works amazingly well even though she sounds very different from Emma. You've done an incredible job with this one Danny!
You're all very talented. You all look very young, too. I'm thinking the oldest vocalist isn't over 30. If that's the case, you all have a very long time to create some incredible music. Recording is beautiful, too. I'm glad I stumbled upon you all. Take care.
I'm so glad I ran into your channel. Oh how I love a well arranged jazz! Keep up the great work. I'm also a big fan of Accent here. Greetings from Brazil.
Yep, this is your best yet. You continue to just get better and better. Love that you included Simon and Evan on this one. Meg, as usual, is just incredible. I've just heard the Real Group version of this (I hadn't heard it before though I do love the group) and this trumps it quite easily. Your renderings of their stuff just sound like more fun and immediate. I also like that you take it at a faster clip than they did. Technically, the mix and master job are first-rate. I always look forward to your stuff and you never let me down. And yes...I did watch to the VERY END!!!!
Nostaljack Thanks Ed!! A solid patron through and through! Always look forward to hearing from you, and of course, your support is forever appreciated!
Utterly sensational. How do you all manage to get that bang on intonation?? This is technically perfect and beautifully entertaining. I want more more more. I will pay pay pay for commercial releases. I keep returning to this track and listening on studio cans for sheer enjoyment.
I've been a subscriber for years ever since I saw your "My Old Man" and Pokémon theme cover. I just now came back and I'm blown away again. It takes a special person to open someone else's mind to music, and you've done it to me. I never really appreciated this style as much as I do now.
My browser screwed up the soundtrack (!!)..so at this end I got the usual groove-o cappella from you guys..("So ya put the jazz notes in..and the browser goes round and round oh oh oh oh oh oh..and it comes out HERE!") BTW There's a tune you might do, kidz...Anyway, twas' kind of tossed jazz salad...on LSD!! .. Anyway, WHAT THE HEY...the future of vocal hipness is in real good hands. This Baby Boomer who was lucky enuf to have heard Lambert, Hendricks and Ross..rests easy. I'm loving it...Y'all are the best. And of course you cook, literally and musically!!
It was a long time since I listened to this on. But man. It is so goooooood. The layed back parts are extraordinary well done. JUst 1 picosecond longer and it would be late. :-)
Very good job ! You're actually the only group on TH-cam (outside The Real Group) that can cover this without murdering the harmonics, rythm and pitch precision ! Could you do some "club for five" cover too ? Like their version of "Brothers In Arms"
Meg Contini is the best there is...the laid back in her first voovoovoo...is oh so good. I can hear that very many times. And the tempo is held thru the song. Of course...it is you guys but anyway... :-)
Smoothness from years of experience singing a cappella music - to understand tuning and balance of chords. Jazzyness from solid foundations in keeping time and swinging hard. And the notes in the arrangement of course :)
Definitely your best yet. Love to hear the improvement and the joy you obviously feel in performing which echoes my own. I've noticed that each video seems to move to a much more relaxed, freer, less serious groove and the technical perfection seems to fade leaving my attention only on what you want to communicate. Would you attribute this to doing more live performances instead of singing to machines? Liked you "ad" at the end too. Keep up the great work. /RayK
Hey Danny, I hadn't heard this one. Sweet and groovy. It was so nice to hang with you at Vocalmente. See you soon
Such a pleasure meeting you Anders, until next time ;)
Who on God’s earth can give this a “thumbs down “? You must be deaf! Doesn’t get better than this. Believe a musician who’s been around 68 years!
Okay, so I love this song more than I can express. Whenever I'm down I listen to it. I try to sing along, but I'm usually giggling because of how happy this song makes me.
!! :)
OK. Todays cure with Megs vovoovooop... five times now... :-) Love the laid back Meg has in that phrase. Now I discovered the shake near the end! Wow!
I've listened to this dozens of times... well... done... I'm a 62 year old pilot, on a layover and you all make being away from my family! thank you! you'll see something from me! All the best! R
Randy Crew safe flight my friend!
This was fun! Thanks Danny!
Bass line is amaizing
Agreed. I want to learn this...it seems like a fun bass part. Evan also rocks. I think I like his interpretation better than original.
@@girugiru27 you must be deaf if you think is better than the Real Group's.
Harmony in my Mind
My opinion:
In art there is nothing good or bad, or right or wrong. It’s just whether you like it or not, a matter of taste.
Yes! I’ve never heard this type of walking bass in vocal jazz.
This is one of those songs that should have a 1-hour loop version.
Sweet!
Another hit from the Fong Factory of Hits! Well done!!!
There are No words to describe how perfect and sublime this is
Thank ya!
I will again return to hear the wowoowoop by Meg...in the beginning. I love the laid back feeling in them.
So smooth! Really nice! Each of you strong & tight! Thanks Danny & all! :)
This version is better than the original and any cover on the internet. This is awesome!
+Jon Vaughn Thank you thank you!
It is a great version, but in my opinion not as good as the original. But the original is hardly unbeatable... Congratulations anyway, great job.
Since I'm your patron, I actually paid you to participate in the video. Ha!
Loved it, man!
Absolutely fantastic performance from all of you. On par with the original!
Holy cow! This is simply awesome. Fabulous job -- thanks for the thrills!
Absolutely AMAZING!! Danny, you and all your vocalists never cease to amaze me! Thanx for sharing your love of jazz and vocal harmonies with us all.
Man! That bass line - so fast and executed beautifully!
Jazz passed! I'm on the floor. This swings real nice!
Each time I listen you guys you just making me smile. I hope my surprise will brighten your day...

Yellow That is a wonderful, heartwarming comment. Thanks!
waoooh here is another level of music
Perfect. Meg is just amazing. Pitch perfect.

Fabulous!!! Such talent! All of you! Thank you, thank you! And a shout out to the composer too!
Superbe, Danny et tout le groupe, bien sûr ! Kiss from Brussels ... ;-)
What wonderful voices. Still the best version i have founded. Great!

I get the chills of Megs voice!
Thank u for doing something from the Real Group!! I have loved them for years I wish they were more known!! This was great!!!
superior talent, superior fun, supercalifr....you get it. Thanks for this. Y'all rock my world.
I am blown away- this is amazing! I've been a fan of the Real Group and this song in particular for so long- you really did it justice. Wonderful!
I'm so glad I ran into your channel. Oh how I love a well arranged jazz! Keep up the great work. I'm also a big fan of Accent here. Greetings from Brazil.
WOW! Fantastic.
Great job, great job!!!!
One if my favorite songs of all time. I was hoping you guys would do it. Bravo!

Just keep creating and I'll keep listening. Oh, and hurry up with the download so I can listen in my car...LOL!
Nostaljack Done and done! ;)
You nailed it. It is the nearest version to the original. Maybe even better. Congrats.
Love this version!!!!
Really good y'all!.
Fantastic work, guys.
Beautiful!! :D I especially love the harmonies; they always draw me in.
Okey. Listening again to this, the tenth time or so. This is soooooooooooo gooooooooooooood
Utterly sensational. How do you all manage to get that bang on intonation?? This is technically perfect and beautifully entertaining. I want more more more. I will pay pay pay for commercial releases.

And...Evan shines in this one! :-) Love the beat and the freshness.
Thanks!
Fantastic!
That bass is having way too much fun!
Yes please!!! Salut. Great job.

You are wonderful. I am now a Patron. Thanks for the smile on my face.
Thanks Dave, I saw that and sent you a message! Thanks so much for your support and I'd love to learn more about who you are :)
Ever thought about doing some acapella radio jingles?
This arrangement was actually incredibly NAILED 😍
This is like listening to a tight sax section with an awesome bass player :D Gotta love dat pedal.
Evan's tuning is bang on as well. Baritone and bass voices can often be a bit indeterminate.
Absolutely amazing!
Very good job ! You're actually the only group on TH-cam (outside The Real Group) that can cover this without murdering the harmonics, rythm and pitch precision !
Could you do some "club for five" cover too ? Like their version of "Brothers In Arms"
Super nice!!! Thank you!
What a fun performance!!! Made me smile all the way through! Also, thanks for the use of color / monochrome to highlight the interesting parts.
Terrific sound, great work, love the arrangement. 🎶🎶🎶😎
Great, thanks to share
Great job!
Gotta say, great job!
Un Freakin Believable!
Magnificent ... proficiat 😀

Neat and clean!

Very nice! Good job, thank you. ;)
Well done all!
+Bram Zeidenberg Thanks Bram! Hope all's well with you.
Rocking!
Qué delicia de interpretación. Muchas felicitaciones.
again and again: thanks sooooo much for sharing! with greets from germany - ps. nice pic with andrew in your background ;-)
A second listen, not so tossed the salad. But unrelentingly hip - as ever. I'm full, kidz!!! Burp........scoobeedooo.....
Very good man, I prefer this version than the original one. Thanks!
This is just perfect! 😄
This is good!
THIS IS AWESOME AND FANTASTIC (and needs more views)
omg!!! This is great!
how do you guys sound so smooth and jazzy? you guys are great performers! keep up the good work!
Smoothness from years of experience singing a cappella music - to understand tuning and balance of chords.
Jazzyness from solid foundations in keeping time and swinging hard. And the notes in the arrangement of course :)
You should call yourselves Four Hits and a Miss !
The colorization for emphasis was really cool.

wowww..i like the walking bass vocal..its cool...
Thanks!
Lemon Squeezy has a kicking version but this is nice
Yea they do! This is the original version as performed by The Real Group.
perfect
No, I am not awesome. Y'all are awesome. I'm a passive listener who only wishes he could put together the same level of jam that y'all do.
Seriously.
Ok, y'all improved perfection on this one
Love your stuff. It keeps getting better. This one is awesome! Any chance you'll consider covering something from the Four Freshmen somday?
Super Swingin' chart. Wonderful group performance and Evan's low notes kill. More, More, MORE
Amazing!
You guys are cute and I luv this version:)
Love i!
Meg might move ahead of Stacey Kent as my favorite female vocalist. Been following for a while and she's alluring.
