Thanks for the detail breakdown. My car key got stuck by accidentally slipping from my fingers into the back hollow space of the JBL 110. The key got lodged deep inside one corner of the top portion of the box. I followed your instructions and managed to get it back by opening up to the vent with the motherboard. I was able to successfully reassemble everything and make it work.

How is it possible that the battery is only 5000maH? I switched to this from a Tronsmart element t6 max. The T6 max has a 12000maH battery, but the playback time is less, despite the fact that it was only 60W and the partybox 160W.

Seems like it's really overbuilt. Which I'm glad to see. It's kind of a shame that the battery pack isn't more accessible - in case it did need to be replaced.

The partybox110 is really good. I do have a few gripes about it. The lights are stupid. I would love to remove them. When you hit full volume the sound mutes for a second. Super annoying. Other than that I really like it.

Really good video! I’ve been waiting for a proper teardown video of a PB110. Is there an easy way to remove the front grill? For cleaning purposes because mine needs cleaning😂
the metal grill is attached to the front plastic panel which also screw onto the wooden enlosure. as long as the screws from the front panel is remove then it should be able to taken off. I have not taken off the metal grill itself, but look like its stuck onto the plastic panel for good.

It's likely made by SB Acoustics or SB Audience. Good Stuff they're producing.
The battery is tiny and it still plays for ages . I could easily get a battery the same size or a bit bigger and get twice as much battery life

I had the same issue. But i got help from my 2 year old son to get it back. His hands were too small to get it out.

The Party Box 1000 has a 12 inch down firing woofer in the bottom. I suspect it to be a passive radiator but maybe not.
It isn't, it is a real subwoofer just not a great one

do i have to take the bottom and top off in order to get to the battery? i just have to only replace the battery
the battery is on the side so it will require removing the top and bottom to allow you to remove the side panel to get access to the battery.

you can disable the lights, the nob on top that controls them has a button in the middle, just press it and no lights!

The so called power inverter is in fact an AC-DC PSU, it supplies DC to the PCB. An inverter does the opposite, makes AC from DC.

if you are refering to replacing the driver on the old speaker as its bad, then its doable as long as they are the same side.
