@@flummi-h9k I have played it, it is a really good game but its not something that hasn't been done it just has great visuals, great moves and combat and great bosses with a decent storyline its just a really good game def better than every game on this list except for the elden ring dlc if u count it.

It's the only credible source for me, and better than metacritic and other stuff. It gives gameplay focused game good rating and that's the most important part of game.

Good job for making this list even though nobody cares because the IGN game reviewers suck at video games. Instead, use the community/public scoring as that will give a better viewing if the game is good or if it’s Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
well stardew valley did get their big 1.6 update this year that added a LOT of stuff for free. When cycberpunk got their big update with phantom liberty, that did get a review.
probably not , there is a whole crowd behind helldivers especially they gain momentum back by releasing the illuminate faction before goty. year also is still not over so we might get a new alan wake situation where a game released on october compete for best game of the year

FF7 rebirth definitely deserves to be up there. That game is peak. That is the best game of the year. You could even go back 10 years and for the whole 10 years that game is still the best one for now though.
Hopefully FF7 trilogy is better i’m really looking forward to it and there’s a few things that’s FF7 rebirth can improve on and Aerith will come back because she never died
The fact that wukong is not on here proves that ign can be bought. I used to defend, ign whenever people would accuse them, but I've come to realize that ign is no longer the gaming company i loved in my youth.
It’s weird how we have a scale that goes from 1-10 but for some reason review outlets only ever use maybe 6-10. 6 being basically the worst game of all time and the vast majority of mediocre games getting 8s or 9s. 10s should be reserved for the best of the best… a once per generation banger type game not just handed out for any good game that comes along.
