2:00 This is a neat detail referring to the Coin Ceremony, which is "an event which takes place at the keel laying, in the early stages of a ship's construction. In it, the shipbuilders place one or two coins under the keelblock of the new ship to bless the ship and as a symbol of good fortune. The coins are not normally fixed in place and are often retrieved when the ship sails out of the dry-dock, (although they are sometimes welded to the keel)." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coin_ceremony
Im actually planning on building The Terror in April. Spend several months this year designing the ship. Did not include the steam engine and propeller though. Just everything above the waterline. And yes this channel was abig help with some of the more dificult techniques in designing the ship.
Would love to see interactions with the playable features at the end. Would also be great to see access panels opened up for interior viewing at the end too!
Costing me a pretty penny I'd really wish I could have you build the same ship but a bit few changes in the sails and another one but a Spanish Gallion as well!! Amazing work and a job well done 👏
Its such a shame some nob head had to steal his design so now we don't see the whole speed build. I love watching these and they just keep getting better. Unbelievable work yet again.
Hi I just want to say this. Your videos are amazing and I love how you have the time to do these videos with so many lego bricks. My favorite moc is the black pearl.
Amazing ship, reminds me of the „Sovereign of the seas“. You always inspire me to build ships myself. My fleet already consists of an armada treasure galleon and a pirate sloop, a redcoat frigate is almoast finished and my next projekts are going to be a merchantmen with the light brown Hulk parts of the super Mario ship and maybe further down the lign a bluecoat schooner.
Yet another amazing vessel to add to the fleet. If you don't have any concrete plans on another ship, might I suggest the HMS Dauntless, another PotC ship, the only lego mocs i've seen of her are those that remade the video game models.
@@MOCYOURBRICKs I love your work and your attention to detail, it makes sense that it(the dutchman) would take time I can't wait to see what you come up with next.
Your progress and hard work with every ship is increasingly astonishing and I really look forward for any new project. But I have one question (and please do not take it as any kind of hate): why did you start skipping sequences of building quarter decks and aft "superstructures" of your ships? I was surprised by this in Queen Anne's Revenge video and now it is here again. I just would like to see how these most decorated parts are made :)
This is simply amazing! I didn't know about these MOCs till today. Could you please explain to me how I should proceed to buy the pieces and instructions so I can build this ship? Thanks!
@@MOCYOURBRICKs I think the Hancock would do well on Ideas. I just built it and it was a better build process than many of the official LEGO sets I’ve built. Obviously the rigging would need to be swapped for official/legal parts usage but other than that it should be manufacturable.
@@MOCYOURBRICKs Woo-hoo! I look forward to seeing the end result of your excellent craftsmanship! I have another question though, will the sails for the sloop be for sale through OKBrickworks?
You may be suprised and or/glad to hear that with the frigate video and the 4th rate video, the ''East Indiaman'' is already covered, as long as you refer to the EEIC Indiamen, and not the VOC ones. The british Indiamen were often build in the same shipyards as the ships of the royal navy. In design an appearance most of the Indiamen fpr the India trade resembled frigates, whereas the Indiamen for the China trades were a bit larger and essentially were 4th rate ships of the line - so much so alike, that they could be easily converted into 4th rates if the need arose. In the 1790 the Royal Navy even bought 10 of these ships to convert them into 4th rates. The imporant difference is: that Indiamen were way less amoured and equipped and manned than their 'proper' counterparts. So where a frigate or a 4th rate would have up between 300-400 crewmen, an Indiamen would on averag have between 90-130 crewmen instead, since their main purpose was being a trade ship, not a warship. In regards to armament, many gun ports were closed and replaced with goods and wares to have more room as storage. so such ships would most likely have between 20-30 cannons, the bigger ships maybe between 30-40. So if you want an Indiaman, such as me, take a frigate, or a 4th rate, and remove some of the guns - done! Kind regards, an EEIC historian.
Just WOW! It's amazing! I've recently ordered all the parts for La Grenouille, but this looks even bigger and better. I'm curious about how many parts are shared between these two sets? Should I go for this one instead?
Could we see your entire fleet in a video one day? That’d be and incredible sight! All of these ships are so amazingly built!
Love that you also put a coin under the mast as they did it in real life. May she have always fair winds and following seas!
Thank you so much 😊

Thank you so much. And yes for the coin, I want it to be as you wrote.😊
You should make the Unicorn from Tin Tin. Also great build!!!
Thank you for the idea
These blue coat and imperial frigates never fail to amaze me 🤩🤩🤩
You keep getting better and better!! I love all of your ships, but this one is my favorite one yet!! Keep up the good work!!
Thank you so much :)
@@MOCYOURBRICKs I also highly appreciate your taste of music, really fits the videos.
The discoloration of the sails really add to the color scheme! Great choice on that
Thank you
This looks amazing. You should try doing the HMS Terror and include the steam engine and propeller
I wholeheartedly agree. I've been itching to build her myself but I don't have the time nor skill for something like that yet.
Yas!
Yes definitely
Oh, I have plan to build something similar to that ship.

you have really been hitting it out of the park recently!
In my opinion this is your best ship you made.
Thank you
Would love to see interactions with the playable features at the end. Would also be great to see access panels opened up for interior viewing at the end too!
I built my own version of the La grenouille and I must say, after watching how you water color aged the sails, may have to do that to mine now!
Haha, easy step
I hope we get to see another large tall ship soon! Your builds are always so inspiring
Amazing as always! I waited a long time for this ship!
Thank you bro
Keep up the good work. This ship is the best I have seen from you. I think that you should make HMS Victory next.
Thank you so much.
Perfect fourth rate ship👍
Just astonishing work once again. If you have an equal in MOC sailing ships, I haven't seen them.
Thank you so much
Its is soo cool that you do the interior as well.
I love all the golden bits too. I also have a lego 1700s pirate battleship.
This is great, but you need to include the assembly of the stern areas too
Big fan of LEGO(brick) sailing ships lately and have built a few MOC ships lately for my sons. This is great. Keep up the great work.
You did a fantastic job! And the coin under the main mast is a nice touch!
Thank you so much.
unbelievable! i would absolutely buy this
Thank you 😊
I've been waiting literally years for this type of build!
Thank you so much for waiting mate
Amazing job man who else wants to see this ship go up against the la grenuilloue sry for spelling
That would be great shot
This is absolutly brilliant build. Wow.
Thank you

This is amazing, I wish you would've shown us the whole interior.
Thank you :) I forgot to take some shots for interior. Will show later.
Looks amazing!! My Favourite ship so far!
Thank you so much
Simply an astonishingly beautiful design.
Thank you so much
I could watch that ship spin around for hours😍😍
Haha, Thank you so much
This is amazing, kinda looks like a more toned down burning blade. Wish you did sea of thieves ships so you could make the burning blade itself
Thank you for the ideas
Wow, Once again an incredible ship, well done keep up the great work
Thank you so much.
This is such a fantastic build! It reminds me of the Acheron in Master and Commander😁
This ships is just amazing I love the sails and the shape
Thank you so much
I love all of your ships, but this one is my favourite!! Keep up the good work!!
Thank you so much.

same
Great ship, my favorite by far.
Thank you
Thanks for throwing that rigging in on this video. much appreciated.
😂 some don’t like, Thank you :)
I think it would be awesome to see a fully furnished lego ship. This is awesome, but I'm thirsty for that interior detail and minifigs!
You should sell these as kits, they are stunning 👌
I sell only instruction
I have seen most of these and they are awesome! Another project you should do. Is HMS Victory. The first rate ship in the battle of Trafalgar.
This look amazing! Keep going with this. In my eyes you are insane!
Thank you
I've just purchased your set, this is a Beauty!
Thank you so much
Always great to see your vids and new ships.
I bet I've watched this 100 times can't wait till the next video comes out
Haha Thank you, will try making more new videos soon.

Your Killin me man! Now I want to build this!! Would look good next to my La Granoulle.
Haha Hope to see it besides La Grenouille
She's a beauty! Thank you for what you do! (though I must say I prefer lego's cannons over custom ones but I understand why you do custom)
Thank you so much. The Lego’s cannon can be fitted but only lower deck.
Masterful!!! Would love to see a big ship of the line built by you
I will try :)
Now Thats a Broadside!
Such a beautiful ship
Thank you :)
I would like to see Lego offer something like this in their IDEAS category and I hope some AFOL submits an idea.
excellent string work.
I LOVE your ship mocs. Keep up the amazing content!!!!
This may be an Imperial Fourth Rate ship, but it's a first rate moc!
Thank you
I also love your videos they are amazing!!!
Would love if you could create the HMS Hotspur from the Honrnblower (ITV) series! The best series about the Napoleonic wars there is.
Thank you
Really excellent work! Looks great!
Thank you so much.
I wish this was an actual set. I'd 100% build this
Thank you 😊
I think if you use the yellow one it might look great.
Awesome ship buddy love it
Thank you :)
Incredible, the flying dutchman from POTC next please
In the list, but it takes time 😂
@@MOCYOURBRICKs I love your work and your attention to detail, it makes sense that it(the dutchman) would take time I can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Very challenging
Always love watching your work 👍

Excellent work, simply speechless.....😍😍😍. But take it easy I haven't finished two of your models yet, and you've already released another one😅😅😅
Haha, Thank you. Next one will be released soon 😂
This is awesome!!!!.
Thank you
I love your ships! 😍 Can you make a video with all of your ships? This is a nice chip. My favorite is the black pearl and queen and revenge
Srry queen anne's revenge
Will try
Great work! 😊
Thank you
Lego shoud hire you and create special theme of ships for AFOLs :) They are better than star wars huge sets!
Haha thank you.
Its amazing. Great job !
Where did you buy this black string ??
Thank you, I bought it from craft store.
This is absolutely amazing! I love it!

Or maybe an East Indiaman?

How does buying these parts on Brick link work? Do you have to order 3000+ parts individually?
i want to make this a gift for my son

Great job! What tools did you use for the ropes and the sails?
Could you build a Man O War? You know, the massive ship with 3 cannon decks.
I know, that take a lot of time to build
Ahoy marinari 😮
I realy Love your Ships..... My Question: Can you make a Hms Victory? That would ne wonderful
I've been tempted to buy the new titanic set. Then I see something like this and realize for the same price I could build something so much better
🤣
Buy both
