Recently was at a large store were a man was waving a gun around near one of the entrances. Suddenly some in the store yelled to the shooter. “I have a gun” then another person said the same thing then another, I was carrying mine and yell out too. The man suddenly ran out into the parking lot. Where the police who had arrive caught him. Closes I ever came to having to pull my CC piece.
I live in Texas and just recently turned 21 and bought a handgun the day of my birthday my parents are against me carrying but given the facts that I’m good with gun safety, very patient (not a hot head) and eventually want to be a police officer I think I should. Thoughts?
Sad that college kids do not understand the basic principle of what run hide or fight means I think it's pretty damn self-explanatory. Remember this is our future that we have to depend on the Future Leaders of multi-billion dollar businesses and politicians.
One thing to use if you have to fight is use a fire extinguisher and spray the entire thing on them in the face and front.not just bursts.it does work like pepper spray.
If a shooter is firing forward at people and you happen to be behind him and decide to fire on him, can you hit him in the back?, or are you forced to make him turn toward you to shoot him in the front?
I tell my daughter that if they have to hide in a room, grab the fire extinguisher off the wall if there is one. If he comes in, shoot them in the face. If you can't see, you can't aim. Once blinded, smash them as hard as you can in the hand and or face to incapacitate them. I have taught this to coworkers as well since we are forbidden from carrying on the work premises. Security personnel are the only people allowed to carry.
Here’s one. What if you’re in Walmart or something and a shooting happens, you’re armed and you find yourself BEHIND the shooter. Should you stop first and yell commands or just take them out?
I applaud USCCA for the good content and services offered to their members. But if you live in the Peoples Republic of Washington State our Czar/Governor Inslee, Attorney General Bob Ferguson and our Insurance Commissioner will not allow its citizen gun owners to obtain insurance offered by USCCA because it is an out of state organization, among others things. Keep up the good work Kevin!
OK I got a very interesting question if you barricade a door and it opens outwards won't that just give the shooter the impression there might be people in the room. And if the shooter is geared up why fight instead of evade because in order to fight it would make you have to expose yourself. And if so why can't they make the windows where you can slip out of them to evade the shooter more efficiently. While he's in the school and what can get you outside the school cause it's rare to have multiple school in one school. Never ever ever ever heard of a 3 man killing team. I think colombine was the only mass shooting 2 man team.
For most people, this is great advice. For me, I'd seek out the threat and fight him or her. I have no family depending on me and I couldn't live with myself if I didn't try to protect others from a mass murderer.
Carrying a gun or not one should always carry a very good and strong knife. To be used to help flee, hide to get concealment and as the last resort one has the knife for sneak attack fight targeting vital organs. Must give your all chances possible for survival even if that means taking the predators life to save yours or your fellow man... one does what one had to do. Like the video says, you must commit 100% without question or hesitation....
I like the guy in the factory that took a mortal hit but picked up a chunk of steel and beat the gunman to death before dying. Bad outcome for him but who knows how many he saved.
Can you use an “illegal” gun to stop a mass shooter?? For example, I’m at a mall in LA and a guy starts shooting with a AR; would it be alright to pull out a Glock43x(that may not be legal in CA) and commit to ending the mass threat?
My guess is; that I’ll most likely be thrown in jail along with the mass shooter or lose a court battle due to state laws. Can anyone give legit legal advice if that would be a smart move for me to do in a mass shooter situation?? I’d like to step up and be the one to stop such evil, I just don’t wanna be punished for doing something that I thought was right

This one is easy...stay strapped!
You are less likely to get shot by an active shooter if you are an active shooter
Gotta love this sad reality
Recently was at a large store were a man was waving a gun around near one of the entrances. Suddenly some in the store yelled to the shooter. “I have a gun” then another person said the same thing then another, I was carrying mine and yell out too. The man suddenly ran out into the parking lot. Where the police who had arrive caught him. Closes I ever came to having to pull my CC piece.
1st rule: be armed
2nd rule: double tap
3rd rule: if your somewhere that bans 2A carry and your law abiding->your screwed!
Most excellent.
I live in Texas and just recently turned 21 and bought a handgun the day of my birthday my parents are against me carrying but given the facts that I’m good with gun safety, very patient (not a hot head) and eventually want to be a police officer I think I should. Thoughts?
It's your right. Just get it
Get a lot of training and practice, practice, practice.
Sad that college kids do not understand the basic principle of what run hide or fight means I think it's pretty damn self-explanatory. Remember this is our future that we have to depend on the Future Leaders of multi-billion dollar businesses and politicians.
Yep
Rule number one: stay away from California.
One thing to use if you have to fight is use a fire extinguisher and spray the entire thing on them in the face and front.not just bursts.it does work like pepper spray.
Could you do a scenario about someone in a wheelchair? Sincerely an armed paraplegic
I disagree. 1) get yourself/family to cover 2) DRAW YOUR CONCEALED WEAPON 3) TARGET THE SHOOTER 4) Accurately place rounds on the shooter
So this give away is free but I have to buy a membership?😂😂
Do Customers HAVE TO Pay BACK $$$ ( TO
USCCA ) for COURT/LAWYER FEES, if we LOOSE case ?
Here’s one. What if you’re in Walmart or something and a shooting happens, you’re armed and you find yourself BEHIND the shooter. Should you stop first and yell commands or just take them out?
Just shoot
I'm not running.
I'm engaging.
open field running (zig - zag ) randomly also.
Sad but when Im at Walmart, I usually look at the shelves to see if I can fit lol
I have no family depending on me and I couldn't live with myself if I didn't try to protect others from a mass murderer.
good job uscca! let me ask you WHY THIS OLD MAN ALLEDGED EX LOCAL POLICE LEFT YOUR GROUP (ethical preparedness )?
Your weapons give away says that I don't have to purchase anything and I already have a USCCA membership
Would like to see something about a shooter in a crowd how to protect the people
I live in a Issue If They Want State. :(
#1 tip to survive an active shooting.
9/10 Experts agree -----#1 trick to surviving an active shooter is - DONT GET SHOT
Pro tip just carry everywhere except for the courthouse
Most active shooter end their attacks at first resistance.
Your first choice should be to "Make like a shepherd and get the flock out of there".
What if you are getting beaten/jumped by a group of people can you use your firearm ?
I’d like to step up and be the one to stop such evil, I just don’t wanna be punished for doing something that I thought was right
I'll give you some legal advice. It's better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
@@robertsims9201 I like that
My advice... leave California. Although, Maryland isn't much better😉
@@stanmartin542 trust me, I think about it all the time
