I've always thought of Jeff Jarrett as that goofy, savvy old vet that's stayed relevant. I never knew he was so close to Owen and i paused this video to watch the promo. What an incredible bid for going the distance.
Yeah. Because people (especially WWE themselves) don't love to talk about Owen's last days, it's easily forgotten that Jarrett and Owen (as the Blue Blazer) were in a mini-stable together at the time. I do suspect, though, that since the "Wild Card" for the tournament has now been teased as an ally of the Elite, that Jarrett's heartbreaking promo here is just going to make it all the more devastating when he loses.
I gotta say the first Shane pitch is basically what I think is Gunna happen almost. I'm Gunna be there and I hope Shane does turn up for the ultimate forbidden door. Id rather see Shane take over for Christopher Daniels as TKs eyes and ears
After the back to the future pitch can we please get jack and tom doing a parody of The King Blues, what if punk never happened based on the concept? P.S. Ricochet was a great cocky heal in PWG
If Shane is gonna pop up I think it would be funny if he was the mystery wildcard so we get him vs Jarrett in the Owen qualifiers and Shane can prove he’s the best in the world in BOTH promotions.
Dave cant say much tbh, my buddy's works for a fancy air catering service and he told me he cooked for the foo fighters the other week and they took a flight from Manchester to Scotland ! apparently a 15 minute flight 🤣 pissing hypocrite lmao
My pitch for swerve v ospreay is they have an absolute banger, 8 potentially 9 star classic but to finish the match off swerve does his awkward little twisty flip against the ropes he does then does little roll into a suplex he also does on one side of the ring, he knows he has ospreay right where he wants him and goes to the top to nail the big double stomp, however he goes up on completely the opposite sit of the ring meaning will has to scoot across the ring like a dog with worms all the whole acting dazed, the match has fell from 8-9 stars down to a minus 2 in one terrible sequence. Swerve misses the stomp, will rolls him up for the 3 and we have the aew champ we all need, even if it's not the one we all deserve
Jack, if you want professionalism, you sing the damn song when the cultaholic podcast comes along. Until then Tom can "It's what we want to happen" all he wants.
Shane McMahon in AEW as a rich investor bankrolling The Elite's takeover or as an evil authority figure running things when the Bucks aren't around makes complete sense and would be amazing. But for the love of god, keep him out of the ring. Him being The Elite's 5th man in Blood & Guts where he can do his silly hardcore shit should be the ONLY time we ever see him in a match in AEW, if at all.
My sole pitch for FD is for the TNT ladder match: flash forward to the end of the match, it’s Jack Perry and Mark Briscoe on top of the ladder duelling for the win, with Briscoe getting the better of real glass boy. However, just when we think we’re getting the good ending, hooded men push the ladder out, and they’re revealed to be The House of Torture! The crowd goes mild and you can hear an audible “F off House of Torture”. Perry wins, with Evil shooting on Takeshita to build up the G1… Edit: Tom’s final pitch was absolute cinema, round of applause!
I like the idea of of a title celebration if Ospreay wins. He initially comes out by himself 2 belted and suited up to speak. Don comes out with the family claiming there all here for title celebrations Black suited & Fletcher is there too so Ospreay humours them. Don has a present for Will & that present is the newest member of the Don Callis family Mark Davis back from injury. Davis & Fletcher lift Will on their shoulders and all 3 raise the United Empire crown whilst Don Callis hits the Triple H/Randy Orton thumbs up thumbs down. Full family beatdown on Ospreay, Swerve, MJF & Garcia save.
