Hey there! I hosted a Korean exchange student for a while and he’s still one of my closest friends. He is planning on attending Yonsei and he mentioned it may be a great fit for me! I go to a very small private school located in the middle of nowhere Ohio. I’m no genius, my stats are 3.49 GPA (going to bump it to a 3.5+ this coming year, my senior year). ACT 24, going to get it to 26/27 at least (I bombed my reading section because it was my first time taking the ACT and I had no idea when the section ended so I did half the section in 5 mins) and haven’t taken the SAT yet. I am a Class officer, student council member, travel choir member and bass sectional leader, started a small grub hub/esk business in school, broadcasting/filmmaking, and used to be in the orchestra/drama. I am the captain of the soccer team (became captain junior year), which is top 16 in the state of Ohio, and am looking for a school with a focus on business, community, faith, and a team I can play on. I keep looking for ways to get recruited to Yonsei FC but I can’t find anything. Could you let me know if you think my stats are good enough and if there’s still a college soccer team there, and if so, how to I get in contact with the coach? Thank you!

got rejected for my exchange in Yonsei because another student beat me with a grade of 14,58 (I had 14,48), I'm very mad because my exchange In Japan (Waseda) as my second choice got canceled because of covid, and I really wanted to go to yonsei or waseda , and I won't have this chance ever again. I won't go anywhere this period, I will apply for Hanyang and SKKU next semester, hope covid will be over.
It reminds me of the campus of my university(alot of green space...no, really...ALOT more than Yonsei), I like when it's like this.Much more than if it was to be completely urban. But how foreigners can study there when we all keep seeing how massively hard it is for Koreans themselves to enter these universities?
Used a Canon M50 and DJI Mavic Mini. And yonsei sends out a lot of emails about activities and clubs going on around campus. Talk to other exchange students and try becoming friends with some of the Yonsei students!
I will be studying at Yonsei global mba this coming fall 2022 and I have heard mixed reviews about the university and campus life but this is one of my goals to get a masters and do internship in Asia particularly Japan or Korea so hope it works out and I can afford it with limited scholarships 😂
