    Bosch missing some impact wrench in their DIY line. Wonder if it's possible to do an anvil swap in this model.

      Good question although I have no idea to be honest.

    Nice set. Was thinking about them but a lot of my 20v tools are budget lidl parkside. Ended up with a draper drill and impact driver because you can modify them (slightly) to take the parkside 20v batteries

      I really like the look of the Parkside tool range at the moment. They look like excellent value for money. I'm sure I will be buying some Parkside tools next year.

    Been debating whether to get this to go with my two old bosch drills and a few other compatible tools or make the switch to makita (got couple of compatible tools so far). Erring on the side of sticking with Bosch for all drills, so good to see it holds up to the basics of what I'd hope.

      I like Bosch tools although I've never owned a Makita tool so really can't say either way. I do like the look of the Makita tools though.

      @@PhillWyattProjects They're very good - significant step up in build quality and capability compared to Bosch home range. Much greater range of tools too (Bosch home doesn't have multitool or router, for instance). Bosch pro is good too but different batts than Bosch home and not as wide range as Makita. Would switch to Makita for all but then would just have a load of spare Bosch home bits that all still work.

    You’re building up quite a collection of Bosch tools Phil.

    For only being 130nm it seems to sink those big screws quite well but does struggle with those big screws and bolts. I imagine pre drilling would sink them faster.

    • @PhillWyattProjects
      @PhillWyattProjects  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yea I agree. It is a bit on the slow side although it gets the job done. I usually pilot holes first anyway to keep things straight.

      It won't do car wheel nuts but that is a bit extreme for a little driver like this

    • @alexstoneman15
      @alexstoneman15 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@lastxp 130nm is more than the recommended torque settings for wheel nuts on a lot of cars. Depends how accurate the 130nm claim is though to trust that! Just bought this driver myself so will give it a test

      @lastxp 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@alexstoneman15 I tried to remove wheel nuts that were done up firm but not enough grunt. If I was to do up a wheel nut I wouldn't trust it as it doesn't seam to be tight enough using this drill. But it is a good drill for everything else.

      @@MoranGuyVideos agree, but then you must buy a battery and charger and... etc etc.. yes the makita is a better tool, but for the 20 screws i might do per project this is fine. Agree makita is a superior brand, and has 30nm more torque. If i didn't have all the batteries and chargers I'd have bought makita. The specific tool i refer to is the makita DTD152Z , battery costs more than the tool.
