- So a few days ago I tried to start my car after it was parked. Everything seemed normal but the car wont crank. The battery was good. It was jumped and everything worked normally but it Won't start. Went through some Troubleshooting steps....

Check your Steering column switch under you’re steering wheel it is a box under your steering wheel that locks and unlock the steering wheel try that tapping on it And cranking the car at the same time

I’m having the same problem with my 2009 lancer. Problem started Saturday arvo. It was fine and running perfect Saturday morning and then when I started it again that arvo it wouldn’t start. My partner scanned it with a scan tool and it came up saying that it lost communication with the engine control module and the power train control module “ A “
Try grounding the ecm. If that doesn't work, your ecm probably need to be replaced.

My car is doing the same thing.. It did it once before and I got it towed to the shop. They called me right back and said it ain't nothing wrong with this car it just started right up when I put it on the tow truck.
Okay so I got a 09 lancer that won’t crank and keeps blowing the fuse #22 every Time I put the switch on, that’s the engine fuse if I’m not mistaking…. I checked the starter and it is new, does anyone knows what could it be?

Bro...you wasted 10 minutes of my time with No solution. This was my Fix on my 2010 Lancer...The problem was in my keyfob...that little magnetic chip fell loose in a replacement keyfob. I just opened my keyfob and put the chip back in place. Problem solved.

@@josephfrith3048 My 2012 just randomly wouldn't start and left me abandoned. Starter, alternator, and battery are fine. Turn the key, no sound. However, my fob has been dead. Could a new FOB battery potentially get it running?

If the battery is good but not cranking, try to replace the key battery with new one first then try to start the engine. This fixed my problem.

Dude do your car die overnight? Does I had that problem it was a speed sensor. Also there's a "parasitic drain" from failed bluetooth modules. I guarantee a speed sensor.

That is whats happening to my car! Have to charge up all the time but its not the blue tooth. But the speed sensor! U think that this issue?
@@Bboy_kt for me i just had this problem, I found it was my fusible link was out right by the positive battery terminal.
Omg mine is currently doing that! Keeps draining. Idk why?? Everything on the car is good but still won’t stop draining
@@lilgoofygal251 It's the bluetooth module. Also notorious for the speed sensor going. I still have mine. Still love it. I removed my bluetooth & just got an fm transmitter.
