Thanks Barry. It takes me quite a while to write a product review script making sure I cover all of the things I'd personally like to know before buying a particular product. I sometimes do miss a few bits but I'm getting better the more I do
Fantastic review of the tripod!! Really in depth compared to other reviews I've watched. You can tell you've actually used this and got a good feel of the product rather than just reviewing it out the box. Keep up the good work 👍
It's worth mentioning, that aluminium tripods feel somewhat colder during the winter, so it's another pro for carbon fiber. Ofc that doesn't mean aluminium one is not worth it, especially for the price. Thank you for your review, extremely informative.
I bought this tripod (the aluminium version tho) about 9 months ago and it did it's job great, it's incredible how light and portable this is when travelling. I am now running into problems tho with the sturdiness of the ttripod, because I started shooting one composition for over an hour to blend different times of the day, and it's a real challenge for this tripod to stay in one exact spot for that long - it sometimes just moves when I adjust my exposure on the camera, so I converted to just keeping the middle collumn and the last leg sections in which keeps it too low for many situations, so I'll probably get a bigger tripod with less leg section soon. For travelling, I can totally recommend it tho - I can actually fit it into my camera backpack.
+CaveThief thanks for sharing your experience. I think it's an issue with most smaller tripods with short and thin bottom stem legs. I've had the same issue with my manfrotto travel tripod. It's always advised to keep these thin lightweight tripods as low as possible when shooting long scenes. Remember you've always got the weight hook under the central stem to keep it a little more planted! I usually do this along with what you do and keep the lowest leg portion retracted.
hello osman! can i ask what manfrotto travel tripod u used? because i am debating right now whether to go for the later version of this tripod or the compact action. or should i just save up for the befree live. thank you
Great informative video! Been looking for someone to clarify the differences between these tripods on amazon, that all appear the same, but with different names. Thanks too, for all the measurements. Something Amazon doesn't always provide. Cheers!
Great review. I’ve got a “HILLPOW Q1 tripod”from my boyfriend. It’s great for beginners. It’s lightweight but can load 5kg,3-section legs with locks that can be adjusted to several different angles. I love it so much.
Great video mate, well put toghter! Do you know what the diference between q666 and q999? I think its just max load... Any way, i have canon ff camera and 70-200mm lens, do you think this tripod will be stable carying that amount of weight?
Fantastic review. I'm probably going to order a 1000 or 1088 since it seems like it's well made for the price. Induro and Feisol, let alone Gitzo or RRS is cost prohibitive.
I have the aluminium version and for the past 3 years it's been with me everywhere. It's still doing it's job well, but the twist lock it's acting up sometimes ( twist it as far as it goes and the leg decides to slide out :)) )
Is there any issues felt with the overall height of the tripod? I am 5"7 wil this tripod suit for me. Main uses for me wil be while travelling and indoor shots. Also can we replace to any tripod head we like. I like all the features just want to know if its customizable?
I love that tripod, have had it for about 6months. You cant beat the price of this one for a carbon fiber piece coz same specs from other brands cost several hundreds of dollars.
wonderful review i just bought rangers greenish metallic color, i hope it will take allright my d7200 with 17 50 2.8 Sigma , about 1.6 kg for still photography and a bit of night.... better than my old Hama 61 it is anyway hahahha .... by the way i recommend an "L" bracket quick release, arca for this tripod, as the plate included, seems limiting if we have the possibiliti to use arca in the tripod.... Subscribed!!! i wonder why only have 40 thumbs up-... best review of q666c in youtube so far
There's quite a few reviews of it but I felt that they all had some information missing, glad you like it. Good idea. I have a cheap-o l-bracket. However I rarely use as it isn't quite made for my camera and blocks some of the ports. Thanks for the sub!
Hi Osman, thanks for this review. Just one more question, is the tripod overall sturdy, is there any movement in central column? Like if you are shooting some long exposure photos? Thanks, Davor!
i got one yesterday, but i noticed one of the orange rings found on leg sections are off or loose and can't pop right back in, anything i can do about it? wanted to put glue on it but i found out that the leg section should separate from the orange ring if you wanted to dismantle the leg sections...
Height, weight and how many leg sections are different. www.amazon.co.uk/Andoer-Detachable-Changeable-Traveling-Camcorder/dp/B00VN96NYY/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 www.amazon.co.uk/d/Camera-Photo/Andoer-Q666C-Pro-Carbon-Monopod/B00QGQZ3MW/ref=pd_sbs_421_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=21Q5H5EE8C9YYMKYMJWH
I reckon so yea. Provided you keep the central column and lowest leg sections retracted. I wouldn't guarantee their use for long motorised slider time lapses as I've got no way to test it. I would imagine it'll do fine though.
Hi Michael, it's been a long time since you asked this. Did you get a chance to try it? I'm also wondering how sturdy that would be to use with a long slider...
Wow very professional video with nice shots and editing what mic setup are you using ?the voice is up to the point :D Got a new Regular sub from now. keep up :D
for me, it appears the only differences are that the q-555 has cliplocks instead of twistlocks and the q-999 has 4 leg sections instead of 4, which probably makes it sturdier but not as compact when travelling. There are way more variations of this tripod tho, which I don't get at all :p
+Kurt Glass-van der Beek. There's pretty much no pressure put on the screw locks themselves when fully extended. I've dismantled mine once to clean sand out of it and saw that the individual sections when fully extended overlap each other enough to take the pressure away from the locks.
Camille Anderson you do realise that what you’ve just said is nonsensical don’t you ? All “ foreign “ people ? You are as foreign to me as I am to you so we are all “ foreign “ ! And, we say ALU-MIN-IUM simply because that is how it is pronounced, and furthermore is also the correct spelling, not your bastardised Americanism, we invented the language so don’t fucking argue !
@@TheBobist well, there are two in aluminium. The spelling with one is just one of many examples of 'Americanisation' in the language; others include the abbreviated forms of colour and labour.
Great review, info and especially good pacing: Straight to the point, with every point!! Nice job!
Thanks Osman, I have just ordered this tripod. Yours was one of many reviews on TH-cam but by far the clearest.
Thanks Barry. It takes me quite a while to write a product review script making sure I cover all of the things I'd personally like to know before buying a particular product. I sometimes do miss a few bits but I'm getting better the more I do
That is exactly how it came across, unbiased and thoughtful. Thanks again much appreciated.
Perfect Review brother, I suggest you to start your Videos with Aslalamu Alykom 🌸😇
Finally, someone who actually knows what to look for in a tripod. You covered all the points I was interested in, including the sand problem! CHEERS!
You're welcome!
Fantastic review of the tripod!! Really in depth compared to other reviews I've watched. You can tell you've actually used this and got a good feel of the product rather than just reviewing it out the box. Keep up the good work 👍
Great video: clear, concise and to the point. Thank you.

Aluminium is more damage resistant than CF. CF can damage very easily when knocked, and damage isn't seen as it is below the surface.
The triple 6 is quite a best I'm sure. Nice review.
LEXPIX leaves its mark!

What a great review, thank you so much! I had never heard of this tripod before, but the advantage of having a monopod too is a real plus.
Great review.

Amazing video. Definitely one of the best videos I've see on equipment in a while.
Hi Osman, I love the look of your video. What camera and lens did you use? Thank you so much!
the little pouch thing is to mount to your belt and supporrt a short monopod against your belt.

Hi Osman, thanks for the review, this made me choose the tripod however I bought the aluminium one which arrived today!. Regards from New Zealand.
Great review - loved your points and pacing, as well as the shots - very useful - thanks Osman.

Salam. Your review was the best yet simple enough for me to consider q-666 as my first tripod.
Awesome review! Are you able to mount the DSLR without the ball head!?

I usually don't say "subscribed" but holy cow this was an impressive video.

Would this be able to effectively hold a slider dolly that weights 3.2 pounds and is 80 cm long?
Great video, subscribed.
Liked your FB page as well, keep up the good work.
Thanks for the support Andy
No problem, feel free to check out my website, alcphotography.co.uk.
Very useful review, thanks!
You have some sick video editing skills

GREAT review! subscribed.
Neat. To the point. Fast. Good review. Thank you....
Hi bro , nice video . Could you please tell me which brand and model of camera do you use to make you tube videos . Thanks
Vick Vk. Hey. Canon 700D and 200D
Osman Carim thanks brother
wich is te size of the screw that support the head? 1/4 as well as the plate?
Great review, thanks for sharing. Do you know if a Manfrotto 502HD fluid head would fit / work on these legs? Thanks!
No problem Simon. It will fit but I wouldn't suggest using the tripod for video work if you're expecting it to be rock solid and perfectly stable

Wow Thx alot man. You're the best!
Good review, clear & enjoyable
great video. You should produce more!
Thanks Jilian. I should have another review out within the next week or so. I should also have another vlog out sometime today
can you unscrew the rubber leg from mono-pod and attach mini tripod on the bottom?
Nope. it's fixed
Do you think this would suffice with using two on a long slider... one on each end??
I reckon so yea. Provided you keep the central column and lowest leg sections retracted. I wouldn't guarantee their use for long motorised slider time lapses as I've got no way to test it. I would imagine it'll do fine though.

An honest review, ty :)
Amazing review!! Btw What's the name of the second song you got playing in the background?
can you add a pan to this?
I have it and I really like it:)
Very nice review thank you so much
Great! Thank you very much!Greetings
Great review, thanks
Thanks for your video! Can i add three legs (as sell on ebay) universal option on the monopod leg?
Nice simple review. Cheers
Zomei, newwer, triopo, benro sirui... Most of them are made by the same manufacturer.
I'm watching in 2021 and the link doesn't work... the price for this tripod went up since your video...:(
great review! whats the difference berween the q555, q666 and q999?

ah, thanks for pointing that out! btw I just ordered the q666 afew days ago and I'm excited to test it out when it comes.
Kristoffer Miller Good choice, I own it myself ^^ It's a great and capable tripod, especially for travel!
Dear Osman, warm greetings from Ukraine and thanks for great review.
I need this for reviews.
when you press down on the tripod with the legs are fully extended its feels really flimsy, like the screw lock joints are going to shatter
+Kurt Glass-van der Beek. There's pretty much no pressure put on the screw locks themselves when fully extended. I've dismantled mine once to clean sand out of it and saw that the individual sections when fully extended overlap each other enough to take the pressure away from the locks.
Glad you enjoyed Ireland :)
I'd love to go back!
Great informative review m8 thanks

Nice...
This man has tourrets
Twist lock = deal breaker
your voice is like SuperSafTv
GhaniySS he is his cousin
轻装时代三脚架。。。that's 97 bucks if you buy it in china.
I feel like this tripod is the tool Satan worshippers use to summon the devil XD
its aluminium not carbon fiber
Q666C - C is for carbon, Q666 is aluminium
what a nonsense carbon fiber is weaker than aluminum
Why do all foreign people say "Aluminium. Its so painful to hear. Just say " AH- LU- MI- NUM
