- King Seiko has returned after 50 years with its first stunning new releases, updated for modern times and based on the classic KSK from 1965.
Here I review this - the 37mm Charcoal Grey dial KSK '65 reinterpretation (ref. SPB283j1), with its faithful sizing and latest 70 hour power reserve 6R31 caliber.
Have the grey dial. My daily driver. Superbly unique and quirky. The lugs, bracelet, box-sapphire, 37&19 dimensions, dauphine hands, indices that glisten, mirror polished case. A feast for the eyes. Indeed, it makes no objective sense, you buy with your heart over your head.
Probably my favourite watch. Grey dial a gem
Didn't know this watch was a thing until last week. It's a beaut
❤❤❤
I think the dial, the case, the bracelet justify the price. I would be happier if it was a couple of hundred dollars cheaper but it looks like a LOVELY piece.
Yes I agree with that. There is quality and uniqueness here. Maybe the price keeps it as something to strive for
Just bought the brown face version. Bracelet a tad fiddly to adjust due to it being pin and sleeve. So far keeping good time and a great looking watch on the wrist. It’s borderline GS finish on the dial and hands with a stunning sunburst effect in sunlight. I was dubious about the 6R35 movement which also have in my ltd edition Presage which I paid £1080.00 for. 72 hrs power reserve is a bonus if its not gonna be a daily wearer. All in all I’m very happy with it and definitely a keeper. Bizarre it comes in a travel pouch.
They have a unique look
The hands of this King Seiko, with that razor-sharp fold across the center, appeal to me more than the nowadays often flat dauphine hands of a Grand Seiko.
Yes they're very striking. Note that it's the lower priced versions that have these. The top range ' cool black' has GS hands
A bit to small and too dressy for me, lol i dont go to many posh dinners to warrant a watch like this , but it is outstandingly beautiful,i can see how you fell in love with this watch.
Ah thanks. It is dressy, but quite rugged and usable.
@@perfectwrist23 So you dont recommend this for a everyday watch?
@@adams1253 I would actually. Its got a sporty vibe and well protected
@@perfectwrist23 just bought one yesterday infact for £1000. Ex display model.
@@adams1253 so do you like it? I'd say it's become my favourite watch
