    Thanks! You have just saved me a lot of time learning figma and all the hassle of jumping from figma to elementor. My clients are small businesses with lower budgets so wireframing inside elementor is enough for me and for them.
    Again - thanks so much! :)

    I used to work directly with Elementor and then I started to make a static wireframe/layout with Illystrator for a couple of clients, to be more "professional", so I can say that you're right about EVERYTHING. Thank you for your video, there are very interesting advice in it. I'll back to work directly on Elementor with a lighter heart.

    I like Rhino too, but I get it you have to plan it before you design it. I use a pen and paper and sketch out what I want to do and do it. I find this easier for me!

    This is good idea for small sites when client don't need much. This approach was popular 15 years ago when amatures design sites live without graphic. Photoshop or any other tool gives you better control and faster changes. It's like designing a house you need a project you don't build on a go

    One thing you didn't mention. When you work with assets, creating stuff in photoshop, treating the image, testing for better contrast, color palette, you may want to test it while in the website interface. Isn't it better to have it let's say in photoshop with the interface altogether? Wouldn't the workflow feel more organic? Or you just go testing the image dropping it in WordPress? Great content by the way. Cheers

    I Agreed about way easier responsive mode with elementor besides with figma u must design 2 times and that means 2 times working, side desktop version and side mobile version.. with elementor you can instantly generate into mobile version view and fix things instantly..

  • @dominmax
    @dominmax 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Totally agreed :) One notice - if you do not change design settings like fonts, colors etc. in Elementor - you can just clone pages (at the same url) instead of the whole website and send a client links to different pages like /design1.1 /design2.1. And even if you change the design settings - you can set for good after a client choice about the design. What do you think?

    • @olymp2io14
      @olymp2io14 ปีที่แล้ว

      can you explain more on how to do that ?

    • @dominmax
      @dominmax ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@olymp2io14 Well, e.g. you can use a duplicate plugin like "Duplicate Page". Other way is to save one page as a template, create a new one and use the template and change to a new layout. Then you have two pages with two different links to your client...

    Is there any way we can replace the loop carousel arrow with a custom image? I have been trying to achieve a specific slider design, but it seems impossible with elemntor. Please make a video on this. Thank you

      @deusanoaram ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm a beginner to wordpress but been working with figma while coding for the past 4 years and my answer to you is: TOTALLY YES! really, waste no time with figma unless you want to learn more about wireframing since there's tons of tutorials online about it (I've only seen this guy here speaking about wireframe in elementor). But once you have an idea of what steps you need to make to create a website, then just do everything inside Wordpress elementor.

    WHAT IS THE MAIN USE OF DESIGN WHEN YOU CANT USE IT AS WEBSITE?

    • @KayCinho
      @KayCinho  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Your design is supposed to solve issues for the end user (ease of finding information quickly, etc) and enhance credibility for your client.
      The end goal is Return On Investment for your client.

    Learning Figma is a huge amount of time. Same with XD. Funny thing, you learn XD, then you decide to learn Figma. Plus you have to learn Elementor. I learn software fast, but I like the idea of not learning 2-3 apps (40-120 hours plus time to get up to speed) when I could learn 1 and just get to the point of building the site. So this feels like a solid path forward.

  • @katlegoseanmahaye3309

    I'm presently learning Figma as a design tool, however, I don't understand why do web design with Figma when Elementor has all the necessary features, all the admin just to do the same thing all over again! its madness.

      You nailed it!

    • @patrickmuenster
      @patrickmuenster ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Figma is not designed purely as a design tool. The web or app development usually goes through several prototype stages and user tests.
      I work with Elementor myself when implementing websites and can't imagine being able to create wireframes efficiently with it.

    I can produce an elementor website in 2 days if I have all the assets, and clients do not give me 200 changes. How do you let them give you modifications and text changes, what's your methods.... everyone?

  • @empreendedorprooficial

    There's only one reason. The projects are simple and small. If you have to do a large project, in a team and several phases to be approved from the marketing board of directors of the company, how can you do it without a design system and version control? It's not possible.

    Elementor is not really that great for building custom designs like in webflow or bricks but it's easier to work with premade templates or widgets

    • @KayCinho
      @KayCinho  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I understand what you mean, but it's actually easier than you may think. But the point of the video was more about starting straight in the browser. So that works with any cms based tools and even plug and play WP themes like Astra which is great whether you use a page builder or Gutenberg.
      The key is wasting the minimum amount of time in smaller / less budget projects.
