I'm under the impression the 2010 es 350 has a hard drive system and can't be upgraded this way only the 09 11 & 12 have the disc system the 2010 have to be upgraded by usb or at a lexus dealer
I have a 2007 ES350 with Mark Levinson system. I can’t get the old Maps DVD to eject. I can hear a motor when I press the eject button but nothing comes out and it won’t take the new DVD either. Any help?
@@bijuabraham93 the dealer was able to eject the old dvd but I don’t know how they got it to work. After that, it loaded and ejected just like this video.
I have a 2012 ES 350. The cover is different (brown color) does not seem to come off as easily. Is it removed the same way, and does the 2012 350 use a dvd in the same way as the one shown in the video?
Dude you are a rude ass. You dont know squat about lexus. For instance on the 2010 and others they took out the DVD and it has to be plugged into a laptop and program it directly. lexus stopped that becuase they get less people requesting updates from them due to cost increase. So dont be a chicken shit and have the balls to check your facts first. I do have an ES350 2010 and my friend works in service at lexus of North Hills
djleo9195 I believe the latest update was 2017 V16.1. Of course you can order them at the dealership. But there are alternative sources like eBay. Here is one very inexpensive I found: www.ebay.com/itm/283580005419 - little over $12.
Most likely, they dont sell these anymore considering the fact tuat most cars use wireless transition data for car maps now, but if you're lucky, you'll find one either on Ebay or Amazon

I have 2010 ES . 2010 and onwards, there is no DVD. it has built in HDD which needed to be updated for map updates for navigation.
