Superstore was one of the rare workplace shows that the people who work the job featured in it don't roll their eyes over how they got it wrong. I think it's because if you do a show about doctors or cops you get one as a consultant but with a show about retail workers you can fill the cast and writers' room with people who worked retail right up until they made it big in Hollywood when you hired them.
Yep. You can really tell the writers worked retail. And there’s so much attention to detail in the set dressing - they clearly got real stuff, not phony Hollywood glamor versions like CSI. (Other than the Glenn robot, of course.)
