Blank socket A is clearly put into B on the screen.
is it possible to plug in with 9 battery?
I do not think it is as I have my battery in all the time and it does not work without the mains power to do this. You can find out for yourself by giving it a go.
It does work with only a battery. Connect jacks to both input A and output A, and the unit will power on. Then plug it in to your PC.
