Ich besitze ein Liederbuch von Klavierfassungen Deutscher und Preußischer Militärmärsche, darin hat ist Preußens Gloria bis zu Stelle um 0:59 lyriklos. Danach setzt an der genannten Stelle folgender Text ein:

Guten Morgen, Sie tapferer Held, ich bin berührt von ihrem Lied. Wo nehmen Sie den Mut her zu solch einem Text, mitsamt Ihren beiden "comrads" (= schönes Wort)?
Ich bin an meinen Vater erinnert, der nach drei Kriegsverletzungen im Jahre 1946 aus der seit Jahrhunderten angestammten bäuerlichen Heimat vertrieben wurde mitsamt seiner Familie, und das im Herzen nie verwunden hat. Aber er hat nie den Hass gepflegt oder uns Kindern gepredigt.
Ich kann das erst jetzt würdigen.
Danke für Ihre Recherchen in der Historie, und dass Sie nicht bei denen sind, die auf Deutschland spucken.

You could just use an electronic translator. Short simple sentences especially are usually translated accurately. Deep L is pretty reliable. If you’re really trying to learn and you double check everything you translate through word and phrase dictionaries to make sure it means what you think it means and can be used the way you think, it’s completely fine.

Ich bin der ursprüngliche Autor des Textes von Preußens Gloria, deshalb habe ich es nicht ausgetauscht. Die "Deutsche" ist eine Überarbeitung von Karl Sternau.
Sehr geil! Nur leider ist es nicht sehr schön gesungen. Aber trotzdem ein Daumen hoch für die Erhaltung Deutschen Liedgutes!

Ja, Ich stimme, du hast einen Punkt. Aber ich habe mich entschieden diesen Text im Sinne eines vereinten Deutschlands zu schreiben. Ich glaube, dass dieser Marsch in der Zeit der Reichsgründung geschrieben wurde.
