Hi, i really like your video. I have cerebral palsy and have just seen this cushion on the Sunrise Medical website. I headed to TH-cam and found your great video. I use an electric wheelchair and have the Jay 3 cushion which is now getting very old. I have the fluid (sacs) version and I don't like it because with time the gel goes all hard. There's a ROHO air option and I have also heard that ROHO is a very popular brand for air. I've never tried anything with ROHO air in before. I have tried the Invacare Vicair Vector air cushion which has individual triangle shaped air sacs. I found it comfortable but I found myself sinking a bit. Does the Jay Balance make you well immersed (surrounded by) the cushion when you sit? I have pelvic and leg length differences too so will get the 2 valve version if I get this cushion. I need positioning. wedges, do you use those and are they comfortable? I have difficulty with trunk control so would this be a good cushion? It's on my list of ones to try.
hi interesting video,i have pelvic issues after a pressure sore 27yr ago when repairing the sore they chisseled away the bone from left side what mightve pierced the repair when sitting..i was mapped for a jay1 cushion when it came time to renew cushion i got told it was hard to get how about i try a jay2 as time went on had problems so tried me on air cushions such as stars one then roho which is what i'm still on now,not really finding comfort the past 20yr the people in my area who provide never mapped me when changing from the jay1 1st prescribed from the hospital who fixed sore and mapped me..32yrs i've spent in the chair spinal injury motorcycle i came off..as hard as it can be we never give up hope for better days..
