Maybe it shows adverts/wanted criminals/arrival times in a space port waiting area, offers in a shop window, the CCTV feed in an off-world convince store or it could be a large screen on a computer terminal for an object marker. If you want to open it you'll probably need to break the glue around the edges. Ifixit might have a guide.

Just you could glue on some interesting protrusions or something onto the muffins, mabye a bit of weirdly shaped lichen for instance, before painting them up with a color like tesseract glow, or nurgles rot.

Sculpt a chef hat on an ork and put the muffin tray in his hand, paint the muffins red, now you have a muffin boy that passes out speed buffs. Use the muffin tray as a texture plate. Turn the muffin tray upside down and glue it onto something and paint it. Now its industrial greebling. If I think of more I'll post again.

Also, it could be a hollow projector. Paint a crazy face on it in light neon blues or green and put a face in it, and it will look like someone sending a live transmission.
First time viewer here and I have experience using trash for modeling. Great video but I feel like the explanation for every little piece of thrash was not really needed... I'd rather see more crafting/painting. Anyways. 👍
