Apple cancelled production for an updated AVP release because of weak sales
The problem with the app store is that theres not enough developers that can make money on the AVP app store. It's going to take years for the store to mature. Many developers are abandoning the AVP due to the low bandwith of people using it.
Remember, this is not a mainstream device. At least not yet
The environments are a big deal to me. One of the things I imagined was being able to use the Vision Pro in an environment that looks like a NYC highrise apartment. Something I could never afford in my wildest dreams.
The closest thing to that is the Tony Stark tower in the disney plus app but i wish i could use other apps with that environment 😭. That was my whole rant😫.
I love my Apple Visón Pro, I’ve owned it two months and I use it every single day. It is my third headset having owned a PSVR and Quest 2, I stopped using those after a little over a month. My main use cases are the virtual desktop for work, the mindfulness app for meditation and various movie apps for content consumption. I’m not much of a gamer but I have played some PS5 on it using MirrorPlay.

Hey just a quick tip. At the beginning the big light in the corner or the LEDs behind the TV or the window (not much you can do on a sunny or overcast day) were very bright and caused a lot of over exposure. Try to get quite bright light behind the camera facing towards you. Really good video tho. Very good take on the vision pro

AR/VR and Vision Pro isn't something you see what it truely capable of within 5 years of constant usage.
I had Quest 2 for 2 years and I felt that the lack of quality softwares really hindered the tech a lot. It's basically 1% of its potential. As for other device it only took a month to learn what the fuzz is about
I’m curious about the white spot the appears on his avatar when moving around. Is it because there was a light source or the transparency a little off?

Yea kinda disappointing that we had to wait for those. Opening up environments would solve this issue.

And make them Dynamic environments please this thing has sensors beyond the wazooo let us walk around in those environments then if we get too close to something bring that into view. This thing is amazing but definitely a huge developer majority product, the best of the best to get them ready for coding for spatial reality. Great review brother.

[11:00] Yeah, not sure that it’s a great idea to have multiple audio sources all at once. It is very easy to lose track of what is up and playing. Case in point, since there are not native Netflix or TH-cam apps, one can easily lose which Safari tab the audio is coming from, thus the nightmare ensues… You can have the Disney+, Max, TV, the Mac Virtual Display open, along with a couple of Safari screens each with multiple tabs, and Music, and you would be inviting total auditory chaos…
Imagine leaving the Music app open playing in one room, then leaving to open TH-cam in another room, and in a third room playing the news, and you forgot which is in what room, yet you are hearing everything all at once…
Currently you can have MVD open in VP with TH-cam playing in Safari, and Netflix playing on Safari natively in VP itself in a tab, and both audio sources will be audible. I can tell you, that gets annoying very quickly…
So NO, not really looking forward to that feature at all...

Yea but I feel like apple can easily implement volume control for individual apps that are playing audio in the control centre, or at least limit it to 2 apps at a time. I feel like one is really too limited for a multitasking beast like the Vision Pro.
@@burgundyonly Notice: if you “pinch” the volume slider in the control center in VP, it reveals two audio sliders, one for APP and one for People. The VP is already a sophisticated device that most people do not truly comprehend, and the nuances of how it functions are going to be lost on many. As a user of the VP, I think it is laughable people compare it to the MQ3.
I believe the audio functions as it should for the sake of sanity….

AVP were never that hype to begin with not even close to Humane AI and Rabbit R-1 which turns out it can be much better as an app feature for a $150 smartphone

You have so many computers) lol-I wish have one good-but have iPad now-just not enough storage for projects-I need Apple WiFi on for book composing-it’s only for this in that version, also-it’s Vision-I wish in version 10 going to be one flat display on eyes like glasses from back to the future2 . 2:31 Definitely not how you pronounce Haleakala. It’s Hawaiian meaning is ‘house of the sun’ so you have to kind of break it up into those 3 words that form Haleakala. Hale (house) - A (of the) - Kala (sun). For pronunciation, it’s Hale (Hah-lay) - a (ah) - kala (kah-lah)
